"ERGO is a defence program installed in my body, but I'd say he's more like part butler part nanny part body guard or something. Because he's a program he's very calculative and doesn't really know whats right and what's wrong, just whats the most logical action really but he is really helpful, he makes sure that I'm safe if i get knocked out in a fight, actually he's the one that led me back to the dorms, he does upgrades on my body if i can't do them myself along with a load of other things."
he smiled and retracted the cable back up to behind his ear leaving only the connector visible.
"and as for illnesses its usually chest infections since i still have lungs, but they get dealt with by the nanobots since i don't have white blood cells, in fact i think all my bloods artificial." he looked confused, Rico had never thought about that before. yes master, your blood is a haemoglobin compound in an artificial plasma, not cells exactly as more of a liquid thanks for that he said into himself.
"really? im really into tech, excuse the pun..." he said with a stupid look on his face "... i like both the programs and hardware. Oh, nice to meet you Nyx. My names Rico, Americo avebury, or gadget to my 'uncle' but he's just weird like that." he said as he held out his hand for a shake

"eh, i think the start of my spinal column is attached to some sort of sensory cable thing, to be honest, I've never really seen what the deep inside of my body looks like, ERGO does all that stuff cause i cant get to it. but i do know what I'm made up of, i have a solid titanium alloy frame with a series of micro pistons and servos arranged in groups in the same layout as natural muscles would be. over the top of that is a flexible metal silicon compound embedded with millions tiny sensory arrays so i can have a sense of touch. my hearing and sight is greatly improved by allowing the microphones that act as eat drums to heighten and my eyes, they're even better, they can zoom, read your blood pressure, detect the slightest of movements and scan for various other things. but, i have no sense of taste and smell is just about the same." Rico smiled, it was good to have someone so interested in what he was talking to, he hadn't had a good geek out about tech for a long time
"there is also my little extras around the place, such as my armaments" he grinned and stretched his arms out in front of him as the scale size chain guns folded out from his skin, the top of barrel was the only part outside of the body and surfaced just in the inside of Rico's wrist. the missile pod was bigger, all of it came out on the top of fore arm, it was full of tiny projectiles all around 2 inches long.
"they're on civilian lock, i can only fire them ifs I'm in trouble or if I'm training." he put them back inside, they were usually too intimidating.
"oh and there's the antigrav, i don't know how it works, i don't even think its officially meant to exist. but it works, actually in pretty sure i got the prototype." the blue glow came from his shoulder blades and he floated off the couch a few centimeters before turning them off and landing with a slight bounce.
"a secret? yeah i can keep that, what is it?"

Rico watched as she punched in letters to her phone.
wonder what this secret will be?
"yeah well this body was originally designed for just ERGO i think, and had something to do with infiltration and espionage i think? so it has to look as natural as possible whilst still being a weapon but yeah I'm designed to be able to take a rocket to the chest, well, the cyborg part is, i don't think my remaining organs could take it and I'm not really up for trying it out" Rico joked.
he watched as Arden entered and walked over extended his hand.
"hey Arden, its nice to meet you too" his hands are cold, and the readings I'm getting off of him, they aren't human, he has a current, this boys a complete robot!
"ah, i see, so he's the A.I" grinned Rico. "its very hard to tell, i only got it because instead of blood pressure and pulse rhythm, there's a current reading."
Rico was impressed, it was easier to tell he was a cyborg due to the cable plug and eyes, not that he hid the fact.
"so whats Arden like compaired to me?"

"ah, a learning program learning to act human. that's very different from ERGO i suppose, he's not the slightest bit human, and the only reason why i call him he is because his voice is male." he looked over towards Arden, the boy seemed pretty harmless, and Rico wished he could do the same to ERGO sometimes
"i suppose he isn't really male either. and as for spare parts, i know what you mean, i have a crate being delivered soon. until then I'll have to do with ERGO and the nanobots in my 'blood' they can move about and repair some things, but it takes time" rico looked out the window, it was still sunny outside and it wasn't that late on in the day
"say, do the two of yous want to go a walk somewhere?? i heard the area around the grounds and outside of it is really nice."

"haha! that would annoy me, i don't think i could ever be female, it would just be, well awkward. and my skin repairs it's self" Rico gave out a little awkward laugh as a large smile appeared on his face
"i think there's a path to the courtyard from here, and its near a pond with a forest next to it and everything" he stood up and looked over at Arden still with the smile on his face, he had almost forgotten that the boy was an android.
he stood up and stretched, not that he needed to, it was a habit thing from before and grabbed grabbed Nyx.
"come on! it'll be fun!" he laughed as he ran for the door dragging Nyx behind him. "come on Arden, you'll fall behind!"

Caitlyn lay down and turned on the T.V. to the rock channels, and sat back to watch the metal bands do there thing. It was quiet in here, but it was fine, she replayed the scene from earlier in her head with a little giggle before turning back to the T.V.
"hmm, not loud enough" she said before changing the song to something that was, PAIN - Behind The Wheel,
"that's better". she settled down to listen to the song.

"I'm going back to my room," Nyx replied as she started heading toward the Yutani dorms. "I've got a couple things I need to do. See you later!" she called back to Rico.

Arden watched her go with his usual mild expression before glancing around the room. There was a dark-haired girl there, near the TV, looking at him. She was smiling. If he had a better understanding of human expressions, he might have noticed something slightly creepy about that smile. He hesitated for a moment, going through the usual routine of deciding how to react to a social situation. Ignore her? Of course not. Extend a polite nod of acknowledgement? Smile back? Maybe, and maybe. But he was supposed to be meeting and interacting with people, and so far as he knew there was nothing in his current situation that should hold him back. Then it was decided.

He went over to the girl, smiling cheerily, and held his hand out to her. "Hello, I'm Arden."

"I was never here before today." Even Arden was able to detect that Caitlyn's behavior was a little odd now. He cocked his head a little, carefully watching her and her interaction with Rico. She manipulated thoughts? Was that right? Curious. There really were all sorts here. At least he was probably safe. Those good at playing with biological brains tended not to be so effective on digital ones. The only person he knew of who could tamper with his thoughts was Nyx.

Arden approached until he was directly in front of Caitlyn and leaned forward to stare curiously into her eyes. "What happens if you try that with me?" he asked, genuinely wondering what she might sense if she attempted it.
