Hello my name is Daisy. i became a fan of the series when the TV show came out. i am up to date with the books. they are so awesome. i can't wait till tuesday when i get to the buy the first season of true blood on dvd.
my fav character is eric.

Salutations, everyone! My name is Blue, I have been on Gaia since 2007, and am a fairly recent Sookie Stackhouse fan. I read the books last summer (becoming instantly addicted, and an avid Eric Northman fan) and started watching the show after reading all the novels. While I enjoy the show, I, like others, am disappointed by the changes that were made. It's still good though!

Hiya everyone!
You can call me Doll, or Tessa, or whatever RP name I decide to go by. I became one of the obsessed from watching the HBO series True Blood. For Christmas my brother got me the Box set of Harris' series, where for the first few I averaged a book every day and a half. My reading has slowed down and I am now only a quarter or so through the 8th book (which currently I can'r remeber the name of for the life of me...)
As for favorite character, I can't say I have one. I think Charlaine does a wonderful job making all her characters intriguing. Though I do have to say I quite fancy the men of the Sookie Stackhouse novels. *swoons*
Oh! I really like her roommate (again can't remember for the life of me) and Bob the cat.
Ooooh! Lafyette (I think I butchered that) in the show I ADORED him.

Hey y'all! I'm Claire. I'm actually a southern girl and that is one of the main reasons I LOVE True Blood. After reading the Northwestern novel Twilight, I was looking for more vampire series to fall in love with. After hearing True Blood took place in the deep south, I was ecstactic and rented the whole series out on DVD. I haven't read the whole Sookie Stackhouse series, but I am totally on my way. My favorite character is probably Bill: I just love how perfect he is for Sookie. I absolutely HATE Sam; he reminds me too much of -forgive me for saying this but- Jacob Black. But I do like TaraxSam pairing. I'm not actually that big of an Eric fan, and I hope you guys can forgive me for that. I'm so taken by the show lately, I'm actually temporarily signing up for HBO starting this June. You all know why. c: Thanks for reading! Get to know me!

Hey there, I'm Kelly. I've been a True Blood fan for a time, and just recently got the Season One DVD. It resulted in a twelve hour marathon that ended at 7:30 in the morning. No sleep, no food, just lots of True Blood. I read the books first, and I'm in the process of rereading the entire series now.
I don't think I really have a favorite character. They're all so unique and different, I can't choose a favorite. Though, I do like Eric and Pam. I'm actually in the process of working on a story for the series, centering on those two. What can I say, I love the vampires.
I don't have HBO, so I'm not sure if I'm gonna survive twelve weeks waiting for season two to end, then however long it takes to get the DVD. Chances are I'll end up snapping and bribing a friend with HBO into taping it for me.
I'm an avid roleplayer, and I'm trying to get a True Blood roleplay going. If anyone wants the link just let me know. I'm dying to have a decent True Blood roleplay.

Het there. I'm not going to tell my name for my own reasons but I will tell you the rest. I've been a member on a different account for just a year. It is still running but I have created many roleplay accounts. Eric Northman is my character on this account but that doesn't mean he is my favorite character. Bubba is my favorite and my mother's as well. I will gladly do a roleplay thing is towns If anyone is up to it. It will be very fun. *smiles*

Hola everyone, my name is Joan i have been with Gaia since 2005. I started to read the Sookie Stackhouse series last year and i was hooked. I have all the books, sometimes i reread the books just for the fun of it. My favorite character is of course Sookie and Eric. I havent watch the Trueblood show but i will one day. Hello everyone! My name is....well to know my real one, just get to know me. This is not my primary account, but that doesn't mean that I'am not constantly on it. Lol. I have been on gaia since October 08, so still fairly new I guess. I became addicted and aquanted with Sookie and everyone else when I was flipping through the channels in January and came across True Blood on HBO. Needless to say both my brother and I became instantly hooked. You see I have a weakness for vampire love, what can I say. heart I have managed to track the books down in a neighboring library and am currently awaiting the deliverence of them to my own. As for favorite characters...that is tough. I love so many of them, especially Eric, Bill and Jason. I was so ecstatic to discover that there was a guild for other vampire nuts like myself and can't wait to get to know you all.

And I've been on Gaia for about two years. . . No wait, three. Around 2 to 3 years, alrught? xD;
I LOVE the True Blood series on HBO, I accidentally came upon it while flipping through channels, so I decided to watch it and me and my parents LOVE it! we can't stop watching, haha!
I'm going to get the book series soon, in about 2 weeks since I'm going to El Salvador tomorrow for some mission-like work.
Can't wait to be friends with y'all and chat about all this vampire love! xD
EDIT: Oh, and I don't have a fave character; I love them all! 8'D

Hey all. Im Alyce, and I actually had no idea about True Blood until a few short months ago. I was laying in bed with my boyfriend and flipping through channels, and I adore vampires so I saw True Blood, and was like hm.. Whats this? And I put it on about five minutes into the episode and surprisingly, it was the very first episode.
I adored it, and at the time since the first season was over, they were showing one every night. So Monday-Friday I watched it at I think it came on at eleven o clock. And when it was over, I had no idea it was the last episode of the season, and when the next night it wasnt on, I was like nooo. Haha.
But then one night I was talking to my friend about it and she told me that it was based off a book, and I had no idea, and was ecstatic! So after that I get all the books, and read them and they are absolutely amazing. Charlaine Harris is great.
And so far, I am definitely liking the second season, even though they're butchering so much. Which is always annoying. Im the type of person who HATES when a book is turned into a movie or a show or whatever just bc of how much s**t they change. Im just like ughh, and Im always pointing everything out that is different.
I liked Bill in the beginning, yes but ugh! Hes a jerk, and I am a full supporter of Eric! I adore him, and my favorite character from the show is definitely Lafayette. He is hilarious and the AIDS part always makes me die.

I have been a member of gaia since 06. My best friend made me read the Sookie Stackhouse novels. I was really wanting to read the twilight books but she said you have to read these! I was addicted right away, and after all the library late fees I finished the series im still reading Dead and Gone. Its took me a while to finish Dead and Gone cause i am tring to read Harry Potter 6 before the movie comes out and im in the middle of reading the Marked House of Night Series which is pretty awesome and that reminds me i need to finish inheritance of the eragon series im a huge book nerd so if theres a book you think is amazing ill add it to my list. And theres lots more, so just add me as a friend if you want im online a lot.

hi there. My name is Dazen, i'm 25 years old, yes i'm an oldie biggrin
I live in southern NH and love it here. Originally born in Western NY state, i'm truly still a city girl living in the country. i have been a member of Gaia since jan. of 2006.
I have had a love affair with the Vampire culture since i was 9 ( bram stoker's dracula) and it was only heightened within 2 years when i first saw interview with a vampire. When I first heard about True Blood i jumped with excitement, with my love of vampires....and Alexander Skarsgard.
I have not read the books as of yet, but i will be receiving them soon. I am very happy to be a part of a guild of people who share my love of those who walk in the night. heart
