Carmen grinned as she stifled a giggle. Was he flirting? Well, she was still too curious to find out what the meaning of everything was here, the routines, schedules, sleeping arrangements. All of it.

She shot him one of her glamorous smiles. "Sure. Knock yourself out, hun."

After a moment, her eyes and attention drifted to a girl with leapord spots who had said she didn't trust the food here. Why was that? Did that girl know something noone else did? This made Carmen curious.. and NOSY.

Still, her curiosity was being kept in check by the only just recently pointed out knife in the wall. That'd be a bummer if someone tried to knife her... her hair... How would she get famous if she got knifed?

The nervous nerd jumped a bit as he heard someone talking next to him - thankfully, he was able to clamp down on his lip and suppress the reflex to squeak that came with it. It took him a few moments to actually process the girl's words, half from trying to catch his breath first and half from being distracted by the wide, neon-green streaks in her hair.

After a moment and a clearing of the throat, his LARP character Sherwood was the one to respond.
"A wizard's best weapon is the secrets up his sleeves," he said, with a practiced amount of dignity and wisdom in his voice.

It only lasted for the instant he spoke, however, due to the daunting prospect of food that might make him throw up, or swell up depending on how his luck was today. He toyed with the +10 Magic Rock of Rolling at his neck, hoping that it could turn things in his favor.

Scott slipped quietly into the room, expecting it to be empty and perhaps unprotected. The other interns had demanded he make himself useful by sneaking into the kitchen and nabbing something edible. The little intern squeaked in surprise as he encountered a crush of campers instead, already filling the lodge. When had the gotten here?? Whimpering slightly, he scurried over to the host and scooted behind him. "S-sir?" he asked questioningly.

Chris made no attempt to control the campers. As far as he was concerned the main lodge/kitchen area wasn't really his domain. Now if they had been crawling all over his RV it'd be a different story.

...But they weren't, so oh well.

Ears perking, the host quickly turned to eye the small intern.
"Hey man, watch it!"
He moved, quickly scooting the intern a few tiny steps to the right.
"Sheesh, can't have you showing up on camera so soon. Now what do you want dude, can't you see we have campers?"

Luna giggled as she eyed the magic rock about his neck. She peered closer, shoved his paws out of the way and held it with her own. "Wow thats so cool! You know... secretly, I'm a druid!" she grinned and showed him her green glove with a black cat's face imprinted on it. "Yup! I have cat form!" she winked again and messed with a few streaks of her blindingly lime green hair before glancing back at the boy. "So your a wizard huh? Thats awesome! I loooove spell casters." she said with a provocative wink.

((Awww Scotts special box looks cool! XD))

Lorna had pulled out some pasta and started making macaroni animals with it, she had brought two bags, one for her clothes and what not and the other stocked with glue and pasta, no way was she going to be bored, looking up at the audio that came in she smiled softly, he didnt look that well kept and she sort of felt sorry fo him, curious though, she DID wonder what connections he had with that annoying auido but she ignored it for now and went back t making macaroni animals.

Lex carefully eyed the two adults. The small shaky one made it c**k an eyebrow. Would they all be like that by the end of the summer? God... Lex ran a paw over the pocket containing the tranquilizer dart it'd found in it's butt a short while ago, wondering if it still had some juice in it. Lex'd be doin the intern a favor, really...

"Y-yes, sir," Scott's ears drooped a bit. Sometimes he wondered what it'd be like to be in front of a camera, but Chris said interns didn't belong there so that was enough for him. Smiling a bit at the sight of the host, his tail began to wag. "B-but when did they get here?"

Satisfied the perma-intern wouldn't be ruining any of the shots, he glanced over at all the campers before turning his (very hard earned) attention back to Scott.

"This morning dude, heh heh...Chef and I went out to collect 'em, if you know what I mean."
The host grinned, remembering back on their little gathering trip. MAN, what a night.
"There's more coming, hope you and your little intern buddies got everything up and running. Camp's going to be a bit full for a while!"

"Er..."

Simon's ears pulled back nervously, and he did his best to discreetly scoot some inches away from the personal-space-invading girl that fate had decided to subject him to. He really just wanted to dash to another seat across the room, but didn't want to make a scene or hurt the poor girl's feelings - so he endured the situation as best he could, hoping that they would be sleeping in some kind of enclosure that separated boys from girls.

Carmen leaned towards her side, looking at this pirate girl. She gently tapped her on the shoulder.

"Hiya! I was wondering, just curious you know, if you are actually a pirate. You kind of look and talk like one, but most people don't believe pirates exist anymore."

Scott nodded excitedly. "Everything's ready, s-sir," he assured the host with a smile.

Luna growled. He wasn't giving her any attention, even after she tried to speak his language. Sighing, she turned away from him, looking for someone else to go get attention from.

Spotting an older nervous man, stars sparkled in her eyes. Older men. Her favorite!

Ditching the nerd, she wandered over towards the intern. "Hiya! My names Luna Marie but you can call me just Luna." she said with a wink as she inspected him. "You poor thing! You look scared to death!" she coos as she attempts to sooth the boy, despite the fact that hes probably not really in pain.

Eliazuli's fur bristled at Carmen. The teen knew the modern-day Pirates were all about stealing technology and duplicating branded clothing. But she didn't like those kind of pirates. She wanted to be a Pirate of ages past.

"Ain't a fully fledged pirate yet. I ain't got meself a crew. But Pirates still exist!" She insisted, "'Course, not all o' 'em are authentic."

Maybe she meant traditional?

"'Ows about ye? What ye supposed to be?"

((Scott's a teen too :3 he's the perma-teen with the shark latched to his butt))

"Good job er...Sanderson."
He never could remember Scott's actual name.

"Hey hey hey!"
Chris stepped in between the intern and Luna, making a shooing motion with his paws.
"Noooo talky talky with the interns. They don't get paid to converse with the contestants!"
...Well really they didn't get paid at all.
