She saw that he was sleeping and she smiled, glad that he would heal a bit better now. She was content with him... glad that he slept now... it was a pity to see a creature so wounded and in pain... At least now he could rest easy and sleep better. She smiled, her odd eyes kind and sweet.
She had pity for anything she found wounded or hurt. It was her nature. This was one of many creatures she took in and helped heal. That was how she was raised and taught by her mother.
All lives were precious in her eyes.
She went over to him, pulling the hide over him so he would stay warm. The sun was setting and it was going to be cold soon.
