HE sat atop that tree and watched her keep running. He made a noise in his throat, how disappointing. He was half hoping that she would attack him and give him something to make a story out of. But she kept going, sadly. He sighed, climbing down carefully, there were thorns around this place. He didn't want one of those in his paw. Oh well, at least he wasn't hurt and he could go back to that pretty lady.
He stood and shook the dust and bark from his red fur; padding back. At least he got a fun ride out of the deal. He was sure she would be running until her legs fell off. This made him smile indeed.
Time to go back to the pretty lady
