If the tour hadn't passed through my area already(well kind of, I would have had to travel to new york but...) I would have still gone, just because something happened in one area doesn't mean its going to be the same in another.

Well, Heri would still talk about religion being bullshit. Anyway, that's not what I disliked about Tyr, particularily. What I disliked was the fact they drank heavy liquers on stage and were going into nobody leaves this place sober directive. Now, whether you think religion is bullshit is one thing, but if you aim to destroy yourself do it to yourself only. Even if people who came to this place should have known these particular bands hail drinking.
Anyway, what I liked about the whole night was Alestorm. I mean, this Christopher Bowes is hilarious.

And so does practically everyone else. Not that agressively. First time I ever saw people drinking something else than water, juice or beer on stage. I just found it disapointing they would do it that officially. On the other note - yes, Tyr are very good musicians and made a near-perfect performance in the most important area - music.

They are NOTHING compared to Dragonforce. Yes, Tyr are good musicians and no matter how sloshed Terji is he can still play his guitar with amazing precision and accuracy.

And maybe good that I haven't seen them if that's what you're saying. And indeed. Terji can play his guitar even after pouring down half bottle of vodka. Really, when you can hear them solos and vocals well in this particular venue, the band has done their job.

CliffordTheBigRedDemon finntroll drank tons of beer...but not heavy stuff...... Yeah, when I saw them, they had two thirty racks of Heineken spread through out the stage. Towards the end I was starting to worry that they were going to stop playing when they ran out of beer.....but when they did run out, they just went in the back and grabbed some martini's and came back out for one last song. ninja

yes it's up there for me but crimson moonlight @ cornerstone in 07 i think was the best amazing show -- crust punks running around with carboard and metal weapons -- theatrics, fake blood, pilgrim (vocals) had a vikign mask on... and he carried a torch for a few songs....and they are my favorite band plus the first metal band i got into...
