I don't have a name for my viola yet but I'm still thinkin of one! The weird thing is that me and the first chair of my section gave everyone in the section nicknames. There are only five of us. lol First chair: Alfonce Me!: Maka Third Chair: Joeseph S. Fourth chair: Giggles Fifth chair: Pedro (I forget what his nickname is but thats what it is now. Yes I mean the Pedro from Napoleon Dianimite!)
If somenone has any suggestions for a name for my viola then please PM me!

My cousin thinks I should name my french horn Frenchy. That was it's name for a while. Now it's Fred. It was originally supposed to be a guy anyways. I know, I'm weird enough to give it a gender. xp

my old bass clarinet was called Baby until my director broke it. My new one is called Turds, but the person who played it before me (the director gave me an instrument that someone else already had so they got kicked out and I got kicked in) said that it was wooden and the LAST working bass clarinet at our school, so I re-named it Fancy Turds. But then our director broke that one, too.

I always start my instrument's names with the same sound as the instrument itself starts with...or at least first letter.
Clarinet #1- Clarence/Clary Clarinet #2- Clara Flute- Frederick Trumpet #1- Truman Trumpet #2- n/a French Horn- Francoise (like the french version of Francis) Saxophone- n/a
hmm... I need to name a few of these... And fyi, I am spoiled, but not as much as you'd think looking at my library of instruments... I've never owned a new instrument. All of mine are used. (but still in great condition!)

My first flute (marching/beginner flute) is Lucy, my nicer flute that I take to school was recently dubbed Fredrick (pronounced like the kid from Sound of Music with a long E sound at the beginning), and my piccolo is Junior because it's a little version of Fredrick pretty much, with the matching gold lip plates. My newest (and nicest/most expensive) flute doesn't have a name yet. I generally refer to it as "The Powell" or "My Powell," which is the brand. I don't name my own instruments, except for Junior. I name everyone else's. xd
