A bloody, battered and exhausted Kagaya shunpo's in. He bows deeply in front of the captain commander. "I'm sorry Captain Abarai but this couldn't wait." Kagaya said as he holds out a white zanpaku-to for Renji to see. "It was an Espada he said he was the eighth. There is another espada army." Kagaya said as before he collapsed in front of the captain commander from exhaustion and blood loss from the wound on his right arm.

Laicyn steps out of shunpo right behind Kagaya."Laicyn Taiko, Squad Four's Lieutenant, reporting."He inclines his head, takes a good look around and notices Kagaya "Oh god!" He kneels over him and trys healing his arm.

"strike, Ikazuchi!"
* mitzukis katana becomes a imense broadsword which is obviously ripped off of cloud from final fantasy's buster sword. the cloth wrapings begin to flutter from the wind created by the high levels of spirit energy released Ikazuchi's transformation. boltso of lightning fizzle around the weapon, and the sound of striking thunder can be heard for miles around. he easily hefts this massive blade onto his his shoulder and slashes a hollow that is trying to attack kagaya and laicyan*
yells
"you heal him, ill watch your back!!!"
*mitzuki spin kicks a hollow, who is launched about 30 feet away, and throws his weapon into its mask. when the hollow disapears, the weapon is drawn bact to its weilders hand by what appears to be some magnetic attraction, but is simply static*

"Lai-chan! Kagaya-kun! Mi-chan!" She waved at them, she was on the hollow's back. "Autumn Dance!" she chanted, the leaves whirled around Akino's body as if dancing. The hollow screeched, she jumped down then smirked. "Espada?" She asked, as the leaves attacked the hollow. It burned the hollow to ashes. Akino immediately knelt down to support Kagaya. "He should've sent a butterfly, rather than beating himself up." She shrugged. "I think it's your turn, Lai-chan!" She winked at Laicyn. She stood up then stood beside renji. "Taichou, what now?" She asked, as the leaves attacked more hollow that appeared. "Grrr...they're persistent."

*hacks at a group of hollow advancing on him, killing 2 and injuring 4 more*
"i wish i new ban-kai right now..."
*shoves his zan-paktou into the ground, and rips off one hollows mask and hurls it into another. he kicks the last of the group and picks up Ikazuchi. he thruts it into the hollow hole and upper-cuts through its mask. he reverts to the sealed form and backmounts it.*
"lighter weight..." he explained, but to no one in particular.

Kagaya starts to regain conciousness and winces in pain. "Good, pain I can deal with. I thought I was going to die." He said not realizing where he was at the moment. He felt hands on him and it all came flooding back, the fight with the menos and the espada and then him coming here to the maggots nest to find the commander to show him the espada's zanpaku-to. "Thank you for healing me, may I have your name?" He asked the lieutenant as he started to try and get up off the ground to help everyone fight.

Another hollow appear behind Akino. She wasn't aware of it. She was busy with the 1st one, until the 2nd hollow's tail whipped Akino away. She was too late to look back, but Akitsuki killed the first one before it joins the 2nd. She shrieked as her back slammed on the wall. Her body slid down to the ground. Her head bowed down, the 2nd hollow screeched at her. It dashed to Akino. "A-Akitsuki" She stammered weakly. The leaves automatically pushed the hollow away, then swallowed it burning it to ashes. She panted, trying to stand up but gave up. Her back ached, she slammed on the wall very hard. She sighed deeply. She felt the pain from her abdomen since the hollow's fat tail whipped it. She moaned, trying to stand up using the wall as her support.

"walls of ironsand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. standing upright, silent to the end." great pillars appered holding down the hollows* "kill them at leisure. they wont be going anywhere."

"I have an easier way. Pierce, Oka Ha Kooru." Kagaya said as he stood up with a little help from the lieutenant that was healing him and drew his zanpaku-to. He raised it straight up and brought it down pointing it at the hollows. "Shower, Hyakuman Ha Kooru." Kagaya said as the sky filled with clouds and out of the clouds fell countless ice blades that drove precisely where the hollows were dispatching them all at once. After the hollows were destroyed Kagaya slumped into the arms of the lieutenant. "Can you heal me any faster?" He asked wanting to help.

Renji's right hand rose to eye level, Between his thumb and index finger a small flame grows. Without useing any inchantment the ball of fire shots from his hand and makes contact with a hollow a few yards away and then explodes violently taking a few other hollow down with it. The rest of the living and wounded hollow crawls into a black hole that slowly starts to close. It was the gate to hueco mundo. Kagaya was correct, Hueco mundo was once again active but what was the number of hollows? His release breaks as he puts his zanpakuto back into it's sheath.
"Espada...ocho.."His eyes narrow as they shift to the lieutenants. This was not news he wanted to hear. War was closing its grip on the soul soceity and little could be done. There where only a few captains and lieutenants. Renji began to walk back to the gate and sighed. "Nicely done friends. This was a good test indeed to see your skill."

She cracked her head and back. "I'm fine...Inu-kun" She smiled at Inu weakly. She fixed her posture, the leaves gathered then became her katana's blade again. She sheathed the Akitsuki in a sophisticated manner. She sighed then chuckled at Inu's comment. She noticed that she was the only girl here. "So what's next Taichou?" she glanced at Renji.
