"With mallows!" Edwin added to that perfect scenario, oh yes, chocolate and marshamallows were certainly good. She wasn't quite sure if they were the best things in the world, but she was not about to question Carmel either- not now, anyway.
For a third time, Edwin released her arm out in front of herself, but this time she had to think. Left foot behind her right. Green eyes glanced back at her Mother, who, much to the rose's dismay had gotten her notepad out, and was writing something out. Well, she was not going to be much help!
Puffing her chest out beneath her baggy t-shirt, Edwin slowly etched her right foot out behind her left: she presumed that was right. If not, she was preoccupied with questions about this so called 'fudge'- what was it? She knew of chocolate, she knew of marshmallows, cakes: but Emi had not yet treated her to a rich slab of sticky sweet fudge.
"Fudge? What's 'at?"

"Is ummmmyyyyy," Carmel said, almost drooling at the thought. "Is sticky and ummy an--and ummmyyyy," she said, since there was no word (in her rather limited vocabulary) to describe the bliss that was fudge. "Is all sorts of f'avors, too! Choc'late, pee-nut budder, 'nilla, cho'clate an' pee-nut budder--"
"Carmel, if you would be quiet, please?" Sandra said, sighing. The girl's stance was perfect, but her attention was definitely not there.
"Sowwy," Carmel said guiltily.

"Mmm," Edwin pursed her lips in a response, nodding her head as Carmel listed off the different flavours. The fudge did indeed sound yummy, the rose would have to take note of this substance to try for herself.
Indeed, Edwin was so wrapped up in Carmel, and her fudge, that it took until the end of Carmel's utterance for theinterruption to click. Her green eyes widened: did this woman not know that they were discussing fudge? This was important! Questions needed to be answered!
An almost guilty grin stretched from one side of her face to the other, she had far too many questions to ask for them not to talk: they would just have to talk in hushed voices. However, they could not talk with Sandra eyeing the pair of them from the front of the class...

"You can talk after class is over," Sandra told them. "Now we're going to learn something new, so everyone line up over there and I'll get the mats out. We're going to learn how to do flips!"
Carmel lazily headed for the area indicated, not bothering to run as so many of the other girls were attempting. but, she thought, at least now she had a friend in class! That was always a good thing!
