LOL yeah, well that is cuz here in the US, they finally got rid of those (confusing and odd) laws surrounding it. But the stuff you can buy here in the liqour stores is a sad imitation...sure it is better than not having any, but a far cry from the real deal

Nice.
I'm a fan of Salvador Dali -- and the comic art of Jhonen Vasquez
...I need to pay more attention to artist names x D
Dali has a gift for creating a 'real' dream scene - they tell their own stories, he makes you think- the subtleties of his work make my mind wander into the painting-- It's like his dream scenes give me waking dreams through visual stimulation. .... Not to mention he was one awesome guy- x D

well...art of any form and alcohol go hand in hand...the greats have always been bigtime drinkers!
Yeah...i love Daali....
I heard some story about him going to the house of his gf i believe it was, all covered in fecal matter...i dunno if it was true

Yeah, you're right. I should almost start pointing out when a thread is being derailed as soon as it happens, but then I'm sure a lot of threads would die out to be replaced with off topic ones...

Apok-a-lyptikon Notice how our subjects always change I think this time...it was partially on topic..cuz it was about the behavior of a fave artist! biggrin I am sorry..i think alot of the time i am the one who derails things...sometimes in my mind, there are connections between things, or i make a run on joke that goes on long.. I have a odd train of thought

Driadon Yeah, you're right. I should almost start pointing out when a thread is being derailed as soon as it happens, but then I'm sure a lot of threads would die out to be replaced with off topic ones... WELL we could make an image that is like a warning sign that says OFF TOPIC! proceed at your own risk! so then people know things are careening off topic..but wont neccesssarily HAVE to stop talking..lol

What he can do with a brush astounds me. of course~! I mean, lots of my friends only know him as the Final Fantasy artist but really he does moer and his artwork is beautiful. I love how much colour he blends togetehr to make something. And Im styping too fast in a panik to know if Im typoing correctly~!!!! sweatdrop

But at the same time the diversety in the topic is always good, as long as we stay on Artists and not randomly go like "JEDI VS NINJA?!?!?!" or something xDDD

Well Jedi are basically sci-fi ninjas with a very different social structure and...wait...goddammit, I'm not helping.
