Finally with the two in view she growled digging her feet in a bit more, jumping she landed a ways from both sabers, "whats going on?" She eyed the male for several moments.
was he a Frostcreek? She stared at him longer then back at Rashbah given the females stance she wasn't all that happy with him being around. Growling she braced her self. She didnt wanna have to fight but if she had to well...

Gorando laid still, in shock, for several minutes after the gray female's resounding roar. When he finally scrabbled to his feet, he saw that the entire rest of the group was facing off in confrontation. A spasm of fear crossed his face, his heart fluttered. He was not ready for any kind of fighting, especially not against a Frostcreek!
Making sure that we was unobserved, he silently slunk away, back the path ha had made bounding in. After a while, he paused, and looked back, spying through the trees...
He turned again, and stole away though the forest.

In the distance, Rashbah could hear the young male run off... hopefully to alert the rest of the pride. She again took a step back towards Ari, taking comfort in at least one other Fallenstand being so close. Even though this male was large, at least she would stand some kind of chance now... but Rash wasn't totally convinced that this rouge was hostel... at least not yet. She continued to avoid eye contact, a sign of fear, she knew, but one she couldn't seem to prevent.
"Well... now that you've been informed of your misstep... you can leave without causing a fuss." She knew she was intimidated, but she was trying her best not to show it. It was in her blood not to back down from a challenge, and this blatant act of trespassing was the largest she'd ever faced. If she could stand her ground here, all those petty little scuffs with the rest of the pride, her brothers in particular, would become a thing of the past. After all, none of them had ever stood up to a rouge Saber. Suddenly she would stop being "daddy's little girl."

The big male smirked, and chuckled darkly, shaking his scruffy head in amusement. What cowards Fallenstand were...not that he had much to compare them to. Still, he couldn't help but laugh when the young male ran away instead of coming to the aid of his pride mates. He remained alert, however...perhaps it had only been a scout. He knew this pride was somewhat sizable. He wouldn't be able to take on four or five of them, even if they were inexperienced youngsters.
"I will do no such thing." he said abruptly, his amusement fading, replaced by a cold, challenging glare. "You don't know where my den is...and you never will." he added smugly. They had never taken note of him before...why should he vacate the premises just because one of them had met him? He watched for her response, taking pleasure in the fact that she had not yet met his gaze.

Ari didn't take her eyes off the male nor did she stop a slow low growl that vibrated her, the hair on her back still standing on end. She didn't trust her self to speak, but the other girl was having no more luck then a kit would have.
"What is your business here?" she gave a sneer, "it wouldn't take long for us to find your den if the pack was informed of your intrusion."
She snorted not as him but at her pack she rather didn't wanna give them the pride of taking him down. But either Gorando was already running to get him or in fact the young male ran away, she was figuring the second given her run in with him.

The male's response was less cooperative than she'd hoped for... and now the intimation was starting to sink in. Even with Ari on backup, this big male was extremely confident... and was starting to scare her. She bowed her head low, trying to seem as unimposing as possible. The battle of confidence had been lost, but she wasn't about to let this rouge get away with trespassing. She took another step back, her body braced for a sprint.
"We'll see about that..." It was a verbal challenge, she knew, but Rash felt that she could outrun this intruder to the scout station, where help could be found. Even though he did not seem like an immediate threat, Rashbah wasn't keen to taking chances... none of the Fallenstand were. Past tragedies had made them plenty wary, and her family had suffered more than most... she wouldn't let her daddy suffer yet another loss.

Dáire sneered nastily at the mud-colored female, who was obviously inferior to the grey sabre he had decided to stalk. He flat out ignored her seemingly confident claim, and turned his gaze back to his main focus, Rashbah. How very pleasing it was to see that all his time spent alone hadn't softened his ability to bend others through fear, even though these two were just youngsters.
"Oh will we?" The male had left out the fact that his den was a good ways out...perhaps just outside of their territory, or on the very edge, making it easy for him to come through and hunt whenever he wanted. Watching her step back, he tensed as well, just vaguely.
"Going somewhere?" he asked, and then grinned. If she was expecting him to give chase, she was a fool. Perhaps he could turn this into a bit of a game...he knew she would run off at any second. Then how would they go about things? She would run back to the pride, but then what? He pondered their policy about outsiders as he watched her through slitted emerald eyes.

What the hell was he doing back out here?! Why had Gorando turned down the safety of his fellow sabers?! Why had he not even gone for help?! Instead, here he was, stalking through the forest behind the intruding male. He didn't even know if he'd been heard yet! All for what - some slim chance of glory, and a great fat one of getting his fool self killed! And for someone he hardly knew, and some absolutely evil lady!
He could have sworn the rushing of his heart would give him away - or he'd misstep, like always, snap some twig - or that the b*****d could sense him, feel where he was, and would turn around any second to snap his neck, bleed him dry, choke the life out of his pale, dun-colored neck.
But, there he was. Back open. None of them seemed to notice him at all. But, did they?

Rashbah's heart jumped at his words... he was reading her movements. The fear of being jumped kept her paws glued to the snow, but the anxiety running through her body was screaming at her to make a break for it. GOD, she was just so CONFUSED. Never had she been such a mixture of angry, fearful, and excited in her life, and now she had absolutely no clue what to do. From day one she'd been sheltered from the training of the military, and was forbidden to attend scouting missions that took her too far out of the main territory. Though such actions were normally viewed very negatively within the pride, the members seemed to turn a blind eye to her... perhaps out of understanding, though more likely out of sympathy for her paternity.
Being where she was now was a rebellion from that, though not exactly an intentional one. She'd chased a buck father out than she'd realized, and was now suffering the consequences. All she wanted now was to be home, away from this danger. Perhaps that made her a coward, yes... but it was all she knew... all she'd ever know.
---
In the distance, powerful feet strode purposefully through the snow. In utter silence, a figure rivaling Dáire in size was barreling its way towards the gathering of Sabers... and it wasn't about to slow down. For anything.

Ari growled and dug her feet in the snow more as he merely ignored her. She wasnt a match for the male she didnt wanna start a fight that she couldnt win either. Growling still she stared at him hoping Rashbah got a burst of courage.

((XDDD here comes daddy to save the day.))
The rogue grinned wickedly, knowing he had her pinned. He had never planned on it really, but it was deeply satisfying. Dáire himself had no formal training, having spent most of his life roaming the wilds, but he was wily and hardened from his pride-free life, and he could put up a fierce fight if he wanted to. He flexed his paws, and tried to make a decision on what to do. He could always chase them a ways off, or jump her and teach them a little lesson about bossing someone like him around.
He stiffened somewhat when he heard the soft crunch of snow behind him, but quickly relaxed as a familiar scent reached him...the youngster. He disregarded that, no need for alarm. No young whelp could best him, even from a badly planned hind attack.
Jerking from his thoughts, he lurched at Rashbah, and hissed, meaning to startle her into action or response, as well as for his own amusement. He knew her fear was causing her to stay put, but he was starting to tire of it. "Well?" he snapped, and chuckled darkly. He had no idea what was on its way, as it was too far off to hear or smell yet.

The intruder tensed. DAMN! He had been heard! He had lost the advantage of surprise...
But that didn't stop him from trying. He started as the male lunged forward at the unknown (hopefully friendlier) female. His response was to launch an attack of his own. He sprang out of the woods, forelegs spread and tensed, claws ready to rake, to shred, to rip up his pelt, snapping wildly to get a hold on something - a tail, a leg, a hunk of fur on his butt, whatever he could get to keep him on that b*****d.

(( sorry this one kinda snubs everyone else Dx I needed a way to introduce Shook >3>;; )) Rashbah's eyes grew enormous with terror as Dáire lunged forward. All at once her body turned against her- her front legs remained frozen, while her back ones sprang forward, causing her to tumble over herself into the snow. She shrieked desperately, but she knew there was nothing she could do to stop this male...
In a flash of fur and snow, a great figure leapt clear over Rashbah, landing directly between her and the rouge. His mouth was opened as wide as a Saber's jaws could physically go, and a roar fierce enough to rattle snow from the trees lurched up from deep within him. His eyes were narrow slits as he reared up on his back legs, roaring and snarling with a violence that made even Rashbah tremble...
Daddy.

Aris body jerked as the male did, she was ready to fight if she need but the reaction from Rashbah was all outta the ordinary, sending the female falling.
Ari jumped as the large form lept in the middle the smell was familiar took moments to notice you in fact it was. Her ears drooped a little as she watched the scene unfold in front of her, the mass of tangled sabres.

Dáire reacted to the blonde youngster instantly, not even having to look to see what he was doing. He could all but hear Gorando scrabbling through the snow. Shifting his lithe body, he jerked himself to the side in an effort to send Gorando flying into snow. The rogue then proceeded to lash back, pummeling the other as he landed with massive clawed paws to try and repel the attack. He winced as he felt the blonde's desperate and ill placed blows as they fell upon his flanks and side. His anger rising, he might have unleashed the full extent of his savage skill had it not been for what happened next.
It happened so quickly that Dáire could scarcely believe his eyes. The huge saber's arrival, and his subsequent roar, stunned him, causing him to halt his attack. He bristled out and roared in return at the pride leader in reflex, his rounded ears laid back in fear and residual anger. His cry was nowhere near as violent or powerful, however, and he scattered backwards as it rattled from his throat, shoving Gorando aside in his attempt to retreat from the chief. He stood there in silence, not sure what to do next, his mind urging him to flee....but he had committed no crime (that they could prove, anyway). Amazingly, he stood his ground, panting softly, as he beheld the great leader of the Fallenstand.
