Faira spun around in a circle, opening and closing her wings to give her increased speed. She loved to spin, she loved the feeling of being dizzy. but she was so used to spinning that it took alot to make her dizzy these days.

Terashi seemed embarrased that he had been unable to say anything for some time. He could have said the awe of the place overtook him, but for someone who has travelled as long as he, it seemed more of a lie than an excuse. "I'm sorry. My name's Terashi. How about you?" Once he finished speaking, however, he realized he was practically speaking to the cloud he stood on.
((Sorry. Gaia wouldn't let me on for three days straight. sweatdrop ))

Faira stopped spinning to smile at the young man, "I'm Faira" she said sweetly, trying to over come the dizzyness that came with spinning so fast for so long. "And this is Aila and Sazura" she said, introducing her 2 companions.

"Pleased to meet you all." Said Sazura sweetly. "I've never really known anybody like me," She gestured towards her wings "before I met all of you."

Sazura felt at home. Though she didn't even remember what 'home' was really like. She smiled and sat down on the cloud, and stared at the world below. It looked like it was composed entirely out of patches of different materials. She vaugley wondered what it would be like to live on one of those 'patches'.

Aila looked down to see what Sazura was watching. "Doesn't the earth look beautiful from up here?" she asked when she realized what her companion was staring at. "I've always loved just flying around and watching the changing patterns beneath me."

razberi_baby Sazura smiled and nodded. It was pretty. She started thinking aloud, saying "I wonder if the beings who live on the patches think we look as pretty as we think they look." "I'm sure they do," Aila answered, with a tired smile. "I'm sure they do." She had, in fact, figured this out for herself only a month or two ago when she had decided to fly close enough to the ground for its inhabitants to see her. She had then eavesdropped on some of them, later privately laughing at their reactions to her. Naturally, she'd gotten in trouble with some of the other "angels" (as the Earth-dwellers called them) afterwards, but it was worth it.

Sazura stared wistfully at the world below. She then stood up and glided lightly over the scenery. Thinking about how different her life would be now that she had friends. She had friends. She had someone to talk to. She landed again on the cloud again by Aila. "Someone I once knew said that we once lived down there." She said half to herself. "She said that we just don't remeber it. And I asked her how she knew, and she said she had listened to some humans talking about 'guardian angels' and how they wanted to go to 'heaven'. Is that where we are? Did we really ever live down there?" She paused and looked up at Aila. "What do you think?"

"It's probable," Aila replied. "But who knows? I have heard such rumors, also. But, if that is the case, we have no memory of it and it is only a rumor down on the earth, so nobody can prove it."

Sazura felt a little disappointed, but only slightly. She had thought for a moment that her new friend had all the answers. Then she laughed outloud. No one had all the answers. Young Sazura gave Aila a hug. "Thank you for being my friend. I haven't had any for a long time." She wispered.

Aila let out a small laugh of joy. She always loved new friends. "I really should thank you for being my friend, Sazura," she said, giving her new friend a bear hug. Aila was infamous among her friends for handing out huge bear hugs.

Sazura smiled. Then she sighed. "I think I'm bored, Aila." Then she looked up at her frined, being much younger she was about a foot shorter than Aila. "What do you usually do around here? I'm usually not one to complain, and talking is fun, but do you ever play tag or hide-n'-seek?"

"When I can convince Faira, yeah," Aila replied with a somewhat sad smile. "Unfortunately, even that gets boring after a while. So I go around playing tricks and eavesdropping on the people on the Earth when I can manage not to get caught by Faira."
