Linaya took Serefin right past the warriors. She dipped her head in respect to each one of them, letting her eyes rest on Silverblade for a moment before disappearing into the village. "Wait a minute!!" Said Serefin angrily "I just came here to talk to Silverblade! I'm not going any futher until you let me talk to her!" Linaya stared at her for a moment. "I promise you that if you come with me you WILL get the chance to speak with Silverblade." Serefin turned her back to her defiantly. "I never lie. Ever." Linaya growled "If you chose to do something foolish, like walk right up to Silverblade and shake her hand, I'm not taking the responsibility for your death. You chose not to trust me." With that she turned and stepped lightly into the village, leaving Serefin looking dumbfounded.

razberi_baby -Sapphire-Starlight- When Serefin heard "letter" her ears perked up. She quietly tied her hair up and tried to Run and hide behind another tree. She moved swiftly to a tree that was close enough to hear their conversation but far enough away so that no one would see her. On her way, she stepped on a broken branch, snapping it even more. She looked at it, alarmed, hopefully no one had heard her. She jumped onto the ground without making a sound and dodge-rolled behind the large tree. "Hello." said a voice behind Serefin. She whirled around. A young elf sat leaned up against a tree staring at her. She had long, greyish blonde hair and hypnotizing purplish blue eyes. Serefin turned to run. "Wait!" called the elf girl after her, "If you feel in danger, I'm sorry. I meant no such thing." A pause, as Serefin turned back around. "You will have better luck making friends with the warriors if you enter the village with a local elf." She stood and walked over. "I'm Linaya. Who are you?" "Serefin" she answered hesitantly.

As Blade took the letter, she heard a branch break behind her. She didn't move, she didn't even turn her head, her great elven hearing and senses told her what was back there. The human that had been following her for some time now had stepped on a branch, and Linaya had found her.
Blade looked at the young page infront of her intently before opening the wax sealed letter. The emblem pressed into the wax had been that of The royal house. Her eyebrow Raised Slighty as she read the letter.
"thanks" she said curtly to the page as she finished reading, she tossed the young elf, a small silver coin as she strolled passed her and up to the edge of the balconies above. A single strong jump later, and she was hanging from the balcony. she guickly flipped herself up on to the wooden floor.

"Hey, wait a minute!!" Serefin called after the elf. She ran her fingers through her red hair and grumbled. She still couldn't believe that she had told a stranger why she was at the village, she was just going to say that she needed a place to say and find a way to speak privately to the fabled warrior. She closed her violet eyes and cursed softly. She needed to get into the village and if she couldn't get in now, she was going to kick herself in the butt!

Linaya sat down, her cheeks burning with embarrassment. How could she have let her temper flare like that? She put her head on her knees, it was because Serefin hadn't trusted her. Everyone in the village knew Linaya was trustworthy. She never lied, and that had never been doubted before. Linaya lept to her feet and ran back through the trees, calling for Serefin, hoping she hadn't done anything stupid yet, and hoping that she would forgive Linaya for being such an idiot.

Serefin had been lying on the ground moaning, groaning, and cursing the world for her utter stupidity. She practically shot up a mile a minute when she heard Linaya coming back. She might not have been an elf, but her hearing was still better than a human's because her whole family was elven. "Where have you been?!" She said harshly. "You weren't actually going to leave me here were you?! Those elves would have done something crazy to me if I was caught! Jeepers! Don't scare me like that!" She was huffing by the time she was finished her rant.

She pocketed the tip and went back towards the Pages' Building. Before long, she bumped into Linaya and that human girl she was guiding. "Hullo, Ms. Linaya. Hullo Miss," she said, touching her cap, the traditional sign of respect, to each of them in turn.

Serefins' eyes widened when yet another full elf greeted her. She saw that the girl had touched her hat and Serefin wanted to do the same, but she then remembered she didn't have a hat. So instead, she lightly touched her forehead to the ground like she did when the village elders of chiefs went into her home.

"Hullo, Aila" Linaya touched her forehead with her pointer and middle fingers, because she didn't have a hat either. She turned to face Serefin. She was touching her forehead to the ground. Linaya laughed out loud. "Aila isn't a god you know. I recomend you don't do that anymore if you want to earn any respect. They may do that where you come from, but that's unheard of here." She helped Serefin to her feet, still laughing.

Blade walked along the walkways easily until she reached a single hut. She nocked on the hut's door once "Runa?" she asked softly, she would need the help of this young mage, as well as that of StarFire to determine the secret locked in this letter.
While she waited for Runa to answer, she spoke aloud "Paige" she siad, and waited both for Runa to answer and the page to arrive so she could ask them to go find StarFire.

StarFire stood on one of the upper Blaconies, watching the scene unfold below her. Could that really be SilverBlade, the infamous warrior. She had known SilverBlade back when they were children, before they had chosen new names. At that time StarFire had been called MorningGlory, and SilverBlade had been known as SweetPea. Neither of them had liked their given names, but until they chose a proffession and adopted a new name, they had to live with what they were given.
StarFire had began training as a mage at a young age, while Blade had learned to fight. Now Star was a talented Sorceress and Blade was a formidable Warrior.
Star made a ball of fire appear before her, and tossed it playfully in thought as she watched the warrior woman jump up to a balcony far below her.

Do they really make you do that in human villages? I've never met a human before. Unless you count those occasional ones who the high elves invite, and only to deliver a message to them," she explained, trying not to let her curiosity make her sound rude.

Serefin sighed. "I don't come froma human village." She grumbled, dusting herself off. "I come from an elven village to the west, my entire family was composed of elves." She sighed, wondering again why she was so....Human

Linaya's eyes softened a bit. "I'm sorry, I know villages in any direction have different ways. As different as the four seasons. I shouldn't have laughed." She dropped her head as a sign of respect and a plea for forgivness.
