Vesna cracked a smile, adoring how the blush Raistlin now sported appeared to be a delightful accent to his eyes. "I did... It was..." He voice was dreamy, as if an unconcious part was answering the male. When his hand pulled away, Vesna's eyes blinked rapidly and her chin fell again. "I'm sorry. Daydreaming while you're speaking. I can't believe how rude I've been!" She rambled slightly, going on about how she wasn't normally like this, how the sun must be getting to her... or something along those lines. She wasn't quite sure what she was saying. She was just feeling embarassed, mentally scolding herself for acting like a fool in front of Raistlin. She would be the one to single-handedly scare the most handsome male she'd ever seen away from here! .......Had she just said that outloud? Her mind scrambled to figure out what her mouth was saying.

Raist coughed softly and tried to gain control over his blush, what was going on this day. After moving his hand, he had wished he did not. She had dropped her gaze again and he wondered what cause he brought her to do this. A small grin came upon his face. "It is no problem, I hope that I am not boring you if I'm the cause of your daydreaming." He was hoping that there was not anything wrong with the company her provided. From her rambling he could only make some of it out, it was cute in a way. Something about the sun, embarrassed feelings and handsome? Again he lowered his head to try and look at her. "What was that?"

Vesna took a deep breath and tried againt to get a hold of herself, fanning her face with her free hand. "I think the winter lasted too long, the sun must be getting to me." She blushed and fiddled with the needles in her other hand. "Would... you care to join me by the brook? Then I can get a bit of water to drink, and some shade." Finally with a task to focus on, she started to get up. Maybe knitting while they talked would help her as well once they reached to water?

The blush from his face was gone but Raist was left wondering what exactly she had said. He could have sworn he heard something about how she thought he looked. Slowly his eyes blinked when the other started to fan herself and blushing. "The sun is quite hot, I've always liked his season the most though." He smiled reassuringly at her, he was trying hard to not embarrass her again. "I would like that, a break from the sun would be a good thing. How is the water in this brook?" Having no knowledge of the brooks location, he was to wait for her to stand and start in its direction.

Bundling her knitting supplies into a woven bag, Vesna shook lose grass off her deer body before turning quickly toward the water, focusing far too intently on the task. "It's a lovely season, sure. One must not sit in the sun for too long though, and I have dark fur, making it feel slightly warmer than it is. The water here is usually very cool and clear. It filters down from the mountains, so most of the brooks have fresh water. Be careful of sitting waters, 'cause those might be salty." They reached the brook without incident, and Vesna set her bag against the trunk of a large tree with wide, shade inducing leaves. Then she went to the brook and knelt down. The mountains are warming up with the summer, so the brooks are larger than usual with all the snow melting down." She cupped her hands in the water and took a long sip, then took a second cup and splashed that onto her face, feeling her head clear as the water dripped off her chin.

Raist watched her as she gathered her things. When she stood he looked her over quickly, noting her rather dark purple colors. She was such an opposite from himself, he mused. "All the seasons are nice, I just find winter much to cold for myself." One could tell from looking at his tanned skin, that he enjoyed the sun. When they got to the brook he went over to it as well. "The water is very clear indeed, one of the better ones I've seen in my travels. It must be nice to live close to it." He smiled before cupping his hands and dipped them into the water. Raist tried some of the water and continued to drink. "Thank you for showing me this brook, the water is quite good."

"I prefer the fall myself. The leaves start to turn, the air is cool with a hint of lingering warmth. I was born in the fall too." Vesna shrugged modestly, though inside she was bursting with glee that she had pleased him with the brook. "I'm sure you would have found it soon, you looking for a home around here and all. I'm sure there are others like it around here too... You're welcome." At last her face no longer felt like it was going to burn off. She rubbed a bit of cooling water on her neck before standing up and returning to her bag, curling her legs beneath herself and pulling out the vest. She risked a glance at Raistlin, admiring how the sun made his bright fur seem to glow.

"The fall is nice as well, I am pretty fall colored, aren't I?" His coloring was yellow and red, just like the falling leaves. "I myself was born near the beginning of the spring." Raist was quick liking this area, he felt as though he may have to live in this area. "True, though it is nice to know where it is now. I am starting to like this area quite a lot." He smiled some and drank a little more water. As she walked back to her bag he got up afterward, not seeing her glance. "May I join you?" He motioned at where she was to sit under the tree.

"Yes, you do have lovely fall colors." She blushed, but her hands busy with needlework helped her stay calm. "This is a nice area. Clean water, open fields, fresh food all over. It's a good place to... settle down." She sighed slightly. She loved her home, but felt such unrest from being there. She didn't want to live by herself though. She looked between Raist and the ground a couple times before her mind comprehended what he'd asked. "Yes! Please! Sit." She said hurridly, motioning with the vest to the space on the grass. That sounded a bit demanding... Another reason to blush. "I mean, if you'd like to."

Raist's eyes blinked and he grinned a bit at her blush. He found it kind of funny that she was one to prefer fall and here he was, a partial embodiment of the season's colors. "That is very true, it seems like such a nice and calm place too. A place to make a home and perhaps start a family." Her choice of words were interesting, settling down was more on the lines of family than on ones own. A small chuckle escaped his lips as she looked from him to the ground. Her response made it funnier but he opted to not say anything so she wouldn't feel anymore uncomfortable. "I would like to indeed." He went over and sat down on the ground where she had indicated.

Vesna giggled. "It can get kinda wild, but yes, for the most part, it is calm." Her smile softened as the male sat down. "And it's pretty safe... Good for families starting out." She didn't even blush this time, her heart set on the thought of having a family. "Pardon if I'm being nosey, but do you have someone to start this family that you speak of with?"

A large grin spread across his face when she had giggled, he wasn't sure why he smiled though. "Well you would know, from living here. Are there many around here, families and such?" Raist noted that she had not blushed this time at the mention of family. He wondered if she had one in mind for her own. "No problem at all. Sadly, I do not, yet. Part of why I am looking for a home now. I'm hoping that maybe that will help to find me one." He smiled some, holding back the urge to wink at her. "What about you?"

She shook her head. "Not many. My dad and his family, then maybe one other family with children. A few couples, a couple singles, and a cranky old codger who throws thing at you for walking on 'his road' even though no one owns a road around here. They're not even real roads, just beaten paths." "Oh." Why had she asked such a silly question? What was she going to say when he answered? He father had taught her to take what she wanted, but he was always awkward when it came to relationship talk. She felt silly. When the question was returned to her, she did blush. "Well, no. No one." She ducked her head slightly, looking down at her knitting. "I guess no one wants a half-blind girl who still lives with her father." She said with a depressing chuckle.

Raist remained quiet as she spoke, chuckling at the mention of the old codger, whom he'd remember to watch out for. "I see why it is quiet, does sound like a nice place to start out, for any reason." He though saw perhaps another reason that he may want to stay around this area. She seemed hesitant, he thought. Again with the blushing, he seemed to have some effect on this female. "And why would you say that?" He reached his hand out like he had earlier and held her chin to pick it up, so she would be looking up at him. "I sense nothing wrong with that at all."

When he pulled her chin up again and spoke, tears started welling in Vesna's eyes. 'Great. Now it looks like I'm pitying myself.' What was it with this male that threw her off so? They'd only just met, and yet... it seemed like she was listening to a trusted friend whos words meant the world. "Because that's what it feels like. The only male to show interest in me was some time ago, and he turned out to by gay!" She closed her eyes, suddenly remembering the pain. She had thought she was falling for that male, and the truth had hurt. She closed her eyes and laughed at the silliness of the situation, but mostly to counter the tears that tried to flow. She was making a good impression.....
