i discovered paramore long before i even discovered twilight.
and all these paramore posers and hayley wannabes all used to think paramore was
"emo"
and they thought twilight was emo too.
then they made the movie,
all the preps went crazy over either taylor launtner or robert patterson
then, they heard decode and when i caught myself.
then it was all about paramore.
then, everyone who sticks with paramore and the twilight saga before the movie
gets no creds.
its outrageous.
like, honestly,
you think cause yer hair is like hayleys or you know decode by heart that yer a true paramore fan?
actually know more than hayleys hair and their singles.
then come talk to me.

my personal opinion is just that if they discovered paramore though twilight, then good for them. it's just out of hand when everything is about paramore and twilight and claming that paramore is the best band ever and blah blah blah.
we all discover bands and different part of the bands career and it shouldn't matter if you hear paramore when they were selling all we know is falling or riot.
they also deserved the attention and the movie brought them a lot of publicity. now if you see that as selling out or not is your opinion but all in all it shouldn't be a huge issue that makes you love or hate the band anymore.
besides, hayley loves twilight. she probably had a grand time with it.
that is all.

I know. . . b4 the soundtrack came out, me and a couple of friends knew who they were. and then when the sound track did come out EVERYONE knew them because of those 2 songs. . . I makes me soo mad sometimes! xp

buttersDirtsa i hate it that when the twilight soundtrack came out...EVERY CRAZY FANGIRL STARTED BEING CRAZY about paramore. it is sad that you say that you are a fan of paramore, and the only song that you have on your ipod...is "decode" C´MOOONNN!! i loved paramore a loooong time before twilight movie came out...and "emergency" is my favorite....xD you twilight fanfirls suck, ruining such a cool band like paramore....damn. fact: the guy that acts like edward cullen barely uses shampoo, and until he was 12 years old, his sisters dressed him as a girl and called him Claudia. i totaly agree ive been a fan for years every since their first song conspirancy came out and ii hate twilght becuz of my username people leave me random comments saying oh i love paramore too especially decode! scream

Paramore is amazing. Before Twilight came out people would ask me who they are when I mentioned that I love their music. Now people just tell me "Oh! That's the band from Twlight!" Don't get me wrong, Stephanie Meyer is an excellent author and I read all four books before Twilight was even rumored to become a movie, but I just think that Paramore should be credited for the music they make outside of just Decode and I Caught Myself. Half the people that say they love Paramore will ask me what song I'm playing if I play Emergency, but say "Oh! I know that song" if I play Decode.

well i really like twilight and i have the twilight soundtrack but i lik other songs by paramore i lik misery business, crush crush crush, decoy, and miracle but i dont think it matters if they found out bout as long as they lik paramore thats kinda called labeling ppl............... o_o

heart heart Pfft, Wow, Twilight was a very good movie right? The series was very good. But the fact that people are like "OH IM THE BIGGEST PARAMORE FAN!" blablabla, and then you ask em "how'd you find em" "oh, from twilight.' BLAH!!!!
ITS SO STUPID! I first discovered Paramore a few years back just playing around on youtube, and my addiction began. They are so amazing. My point remaining:
Everyone who discovered Paramore before Twilight=AWESOME PPLZ.
Everyone who discovered Paramore after Twilight= LOSER FACES!!!

I have loved the Twilight series ever since one of my friends referred it to me but I knew of Paramore way before then... I think that Twilight is starting to get old because so many [weird, annoying, wannabe vamp] people found out about it...

You don't need to be so rude and guys like Twilight 2 and why would you say we ruined the song that just means that paramore got more popular and i liked paramore before i even knew that twilight was a book and so what about the hair thing and about the dressing him up as a girl my cousins dress me up like a boy and call me dominic(my name is dominique) they make me put my hair up and everything who cares? you don't neeed to be so rude!

I'm a really late fan, a couple months after RIOT came out, but, personally I hated the fact that about 3/4 of the people in my school only knew about Paramore from Twilight. They said "OMG I AM PARAMORE'S BIGGEST FAN!!" If you asked them what their favorite song was off All We Know Is Falling, they couldn't name even one song, because they only knew Decode and I Caught Myself. That's what pisses me off. Yeah it's ok if you only know a couple of their songs, but at least know some off an ACTUAL ALBUM, and don't claim to be their biggest fan when your not even reasonably close.

A lot of people I know have latched onto Paramore through Twilight, and vice versa.
Fair enough if they know more Paramore songs than Decode, I caught myself, Misery Business, etc. Fair enough if they've actually read and appreciated the Twilight Saga, not just watched the film.
But when they start saying 'Who's Jeremy Davis?', and 'Wait, I thought Paramore's first album was Riot!', it just goes to show that, even though they claim to be huge fans, they really are not.
I've got no issue with Paramore and Twilight's new fanbase after all the success of the film, but when these so called 'fans' start giving us a bad name, and make us lose all credibility as fans, that's going too far .______.
