Tamu looked to the male.
"Understandably so, she does look a little distressed. Technically, we are within the safety of the pridal lands now, and you can choose anywhere in the jungle as your den but obviously you're a little further away from the beach out here," she told them honestly.
"I don't think she'll make it to the cove, I was tired just swimming out here. I think the best thing to do would be to find a really sheltered area here, in the pridal lands and once you're fit again, you can move your family closer."

Feana nodded a little. She heard how much the ocean meant to this particular pride. The gray lioness felt a huge surge of relief well up in her when she heard they were in the pride boarders. She picked up her head, the ball of green still in her mouth and looked about. Kenya would have to pick a den big enough for however many cubs she was going to have. Poor Kenya, she thought with a frown, casting a glance at him. He didn't look to comfortable, but then again, neither did she.
Putting the ball between her teeth and cheek, she spoke, "Thank you... for everything, really.." She was breathless as she spoke, but that was to be expected, she thought.

Kenya nodded, and looked from Tamu to Feana. She was right, Feana was in no shape to walk. She could barley stand.
He smiled down to Feana, and licked her lightly on the cheek. "Yes, thank you." He looked back up to Tamu. "We wouldn't have gotten this far without your help." He said before he stood, and looked to find a soft, sheltered spot for Feana to lay and have their cubs.

Tamu nodded to Feana.
"Then I think it best we leave you both in peace now. If you think you'll need any further assistance with the birth, Kayin here can stay with you but apart from that we just have to let nature takes it course," she said to the obviously nervous and expectant pair.
She and Kayin helped in walking the heavy Feana to a soft spot, a sheltered den.
"When your strength returns, you and your family can move a bit closer to the shore, we have plenty of lions on hand to help," Tamu said in one last welcoming gesture. Making sure they were still comfortable, she left them at peace now, Kayin following behind.
Kayin stayed just within earshot though, just in case.
