To say the least, it was an interesting journey trying to get to the crystal in the first place.. I wanna sit down and explain it all out. Who woulda thought that trying to help Epee find a body would cause so much craziness?

I'll place my thoughts on the events surrounding my obtainment of Starlet... a lot of strange things happened.. and things that happened that were rather upsetting. More to Akiya than myself, but they were still troubling. Makes me wonder what's to happen from this point on....

When we have more time, we'll be speaking about the Winter Festival! Good thing we didn't know it was going on beforehand or else Koni never would have left home! But it seemed he's heard about something interesting...

"So this...is the Homeground?" The Geisha was very surprised by what she saw, her eyes fixed on the huge mansion that apparently contained some of the same species as Epee's little orb thing...only these ones had 'emerged'. In fact it was that little orb-thing that she clutched in her grasp while Onion sat on top of it and Aversham was perfectly content to perch on her shoulder.
"As far as I'm aware." The Phoenix mused, his gaze flicking towards the mansion and then back to the Geisha who was looking absolutely normal - in fact she was wearing a Yukata as opposed to a Kimono and her make-up was virtually non-existant as she simply didn't have the time to care for herself and all Epee's companions during the day.
"It's very big." She observed, glancing up slightly to raise a brow before her gaze caught sight of the gardens, they were gorgeous - unfortunately Aversham couldn't appreciate this fact and within moments had taken flight, giving soft song-like calls into the wind in the hope of locating his favoured companion (wherever her evil step-'mother' might have hidden her).

Homegrounds itself was rather huge, spaning for as far as the eye could see in either direction. A good majority of it being covered in thick forests and lakes. The house itself was called Central Homegrounds, since it was smack dab in the middle of everything, either on purpose or some crazy twist of design. Akiya and his family resided there, though not all of the huge seven story home was just his. Currently, it was rather quiet at the house. Either they were all out or sleeping somewhere.
Koni himself was in the forest, meditating as he always did when he was home. it was safer or something. Akiya said he just used it as an excuse to continue hiding.
Humming gently, Reika made her way to her fort, a tiny little lunch basket being swung in her hands. Her familiars were romping around in front of her, tackling each other into the grass or whatever they ended up into. It was cute and she giggled softly. They had been home an awfully long time but she didn't wanna ask why they couldn't go back to the Tavern. Koni got all miffed and grumbled and Akiya looked so sheepish. Something had happened... but they wouldn't tell her.
When they arrived at the largest bush in this garden, she called out to her friends to get them to come inside when she thought she heard a soft call. "Hmmm?" Turning slowly and looking up at the sky, she tilted her head curiously. That couldn't be.. "Aversham?" It had been a really long time since she had seen her dear friend. And she couldn't deny that she missed him a lot. "Am I imagining things now?"

The Geisha released a small sigh as she was dismissed by the Phoenix and instead she made her way across the grass towards one of the many benches admidst the tended to gardens around the mansion - at least here it was cared for while the rest seemed to look like outback and jungle from her vantage point.
"S'quite nice here, if I do say so myself." Onion mused as Hayaharu lowered him to the ground and set the Omungda beside him (it promptly began to roll about the gardens to explore),"Nice and peaceful, not like your average park in Durem!" He chirped merrily before giving a cry of disbelief and charging after the orb.
"I say - You shouldn't wander off on your own, dear marble!" He roared as Hayaharu released a sigh and sat down.

He continued his flight across the Homeland and it was only went he caught that familiar twinkle of her head-dress that his eyes flashed with recognition and he began to descend from the sky. It took a while and he was mildly disgruntled as the leaves began to batter at his flight feathers but eventually he navigated his way through the trees and into the undergrowth...even if it did result in him smashing rather unceremoniously into her bush where he disappeared from sight.
"Found you!" He chirped in a muffled yet merry manner from somewhere inside the top of the bush, "Are you avoiding me? I wasn't aware I'd done something wrong but you really should have told me -" There was a pause and few muffled cries before he managed to escape from the bush and tumble back outside, his appearance somewhat ruffled.
"Did you know that bush had thorns?"

The gardens were maintained by one of Akiya's sons, his eldest more often than not. Akiya himself was not a greenthumb and his duties kept him away from the house for the most part. It was only made because Koni had demanded it anyhow. Such a strange guy sometimes... But from where KOni had been currently sitting, his ear shifted and his eyes opened. He was well intuned to this place and knew when there were strangers about. "Oh?"
A slight face was made as he pushed himself to his feet and straitened his outfit a bit. Akiya had said nothing about visitors... there really shouldn't be anyone there at the moment. Deciding that it wouldn't kill to find out who was there, he made his way around to the gardens proper. Onion's voice was easy to recognize and his brow shifted. What was he doing here? Better question. How did he get there? Walking about more, he caught sight of Hayaharu and tilted his head. Hmmm.. "Afternoon, Lady Hayaharu. And to what do we owe the honor of this visit?" His tone was light, since it wasn't like he was annoyed. If nothing else, he was more curious as to how she got there.

Her face expressed surprise as she noticed that it was, in fact, Aversham as he coasted down from the skies. He.. came to see her? Wincing and trying to guide him a bit through the trees, since she knew there were a lot of leaves in his way, she gave a tiny wail of despair as he flew into her bush. "Aversham!!" She hurried over to see if he was all right, her familiars huddled around her in bafflement. "Are ye all right?!"
Her eyes widened as he managed to made his way out of her bush, a look of relief showing on her face. Her heart was beating excitedly at the sight of him. "Ye were.. looking for me? Nay nay, I could never want to avoid ye! Just.. Koni-papa got rather grumpy and came home... but ye haven't done anything to upset me. Nothing of the sort!" Going over to him carefully, she clucked her tongue with worry and worked on trying to fix him up.
"Oh.. nay, I dinnae know that! Are ye hurt anywhere?!" Her motions grew a bit frantic as she tried to find any thorns. "I should tell Koni-papa about them. He'll get rid of them... that bush tis me fort... I can take better care of ye inside..."

"Good afternoon, Sir Koniryu." Hayaharu responded and flicked her gaze up briefly before lowering it once more to keep it fixed upon the Orb as it rolled about the grass, it really did seem content and almost delighted at the fact that it had a tiny knight sprinting after it at a rather slow pace - it was comical to say the least.
She was silent for a time though as she considered his question and then with a smile she gave a lose shrug, "I was asked to come here, Aversham deemed it beneficial for the Omungda to pay a visit and he was most adamant about coming himself - I could only accept his request." She explained and fell silent once more, yet the smile still lingered, it was a nice place...

"No, no...I'm quite alright." He gave an avian smile as he gave a shake and ruffled his feathers so that a few fell out and others realigned themselves to where they should have been before, "Just misjudged my landing to say the least." He mused as he gazed up into the canopy and eyed it critically as though it had gotten in his way on purpose.
Nevertheless, eventually he did turn his gaze back towards the young light Elysian and raised a brow, she wanted him to come inside and yet he couldn't quite comprehend how he was going to fit.
"Are you sure there's enough room?"

"Ah.. so I see." It wasn't like he had issues with Hayaharu anymore. He stll couldn't quite understand her and a lot of her feminine ways, but he was doing his best to.. at least be more tolerant. Akiya said he could at least try to learn something from the experience. Or some such thing. But seeing that she wasn't even looking at him, he took that she still didn't like to be in his company.. though he happened to glance down and notice Onion running around with one of those omundgas. Was Hayaharu a Guardian...? No.. that one had gone to another... he recalled having that conversation with Akiya. So she must be just watching him.
His brow developed a bit of a twitch at the mention of Aversham. "Really.. now..." The only reason he could possibly think of for that soon to be roasted chicken to be here would be to see Reika. His fingers clenched firmly for a moment or two before he forced himself to relax. Reika would never forgive him if he did something she felt was rash and she had been without companion of her own kind in some time... he'd allow this. For about five minutes. "Well, ye dinnae seem too bothered to come here.. tis a rather peaceful place..."

It was only after he said he was all right did she attempt to relax. Since she had never seen anyone fly down through these trees before, she hadn't been sure what kind of damage could be inflicted upon him and she would have been truly upset to see him hurt. Taking a step back so he could ruffle up his feathers without her in the way, she tilted her head for a moment or two before she smiled a bit at his look. "Tis a huge canopy... though, ye are the first I've seen to ever fly through it... so I think ye are rather brave."
His question met with a soft, confused moment of blinking before she giggled. "But of course! Ye just need to use the door." She pointed towards what appeared to be a rainbow colored pendant that was just hanging on the bush, apparently for no reason. It did seem a bit out of place. Going over to it, she ran her hand over it, the colors shifting and moving before an actual door seemed to appear and open on its own. "Come inside... tis bigger inside, I promise!"

"I like new places," Hayaharu gave a hapless shrug as she brushed a strand of hair from her eyes and flicked her gaze up towards him, raising a brow as she readjusted to the fact that the overly attractive druid had fur all over his face - she still found that remotely odd even if she had seen a lot during her stay in Gambino (even demons and talking dolls).
"Especially ones that remind me of home, bar the fact that Shoichi didn't have overgrown jungles in the middle of it, just nice gardens." She mused and turned her gaze back towards Onion again, who seemed to have managed to jump on top of the Omungda which was now doing it's very best to squash him underneath it.
"But you're right, it is a very nice place, very quiet." She added with a small nod and released a sigh as she debated as to whether or not she should rescue the poor knight from the wrath of a giant orb.

"The door..." Aversham seemed to be remotely disturbed by her apparent amusement and watched in astonishment as a door appeared in front of him, just by the stroke of her hand on a jewel - now he had to learn that skill at some point as it could be quite handy.
Nevertheless, he did give another ruffle of his feathers and regally made his way forward into the bush. Ducking his head to fit through the door as he drew his tail feathers round with a wing and peered inside curiously...it really was much bigger in here!
"Wow..." He murmured appreciatively as he went in full and nestled near a wall to take up as little space as possible, "Can I still get out though?" He murmured curiously.

"There's nothing wrong with liking new places... and tis nay jungle. Just miles and miles of forests. There are many beautiful things here in the forests and many paths..." He had no idea why he was saying that. Probably because he hadn't liked her calling the vast forests jungles, since they are two very different things with two distinct looks. Rubbing the bridge of his nose he wondered what she was looking at so intently. Well.. it had been awhile since their last meeting but he didn't change drastically overnight or anything. Strange woman...
Noticing that Onion was on top of the orb, his eyes narrowed thoughtfully. "Rather active for an orb, I'd say... tis a rather fiesty life int here..." Though he didn't think it would be wise for Onion to be smashed underground so he went over and lightly picked him up while placing another hand on the orb to keep it still. "I can nay speak for Akiya, since tis his home and all, but I'm sure he won't mind ye visiting. Not many know the way here... so I hope ye enjoy yer stay..."

"Mmmhm!" She knew it must feel rather strange for a door to appear out of nowhere so it seemed but that was how it was made for her. Akiya had to ask a favor from a friend of his who was more skilled in the magics of dimensions and such to do it for her, so she could have a getaway. Allowing Aversham to to go first, she called to her familiars to get them to come inside as well. Once they were in did she allow herself entrance and then closed the door, which faded away again.
There was more than ample room for them all and she tilted her head as he moved towards a wall. "Ye won't take up a lot of space here, so I would hate for ye to get cramped up in one spot. Would ye like something to drink?" Moving over to one of her many scattered pillows, she sat down and studied him. "Uh huh!" She pointed towards the door on their side. "We just walk through there and we'll be outside again. Ye have nothing to worry over, really. Tis my fort!" She smiled brightly and clapped her hands, rather happy about having one. "What do ye think?"
