Sally doesn't seem to... appriciate him. =/ Not from what I've seen anyways. (Haven't read much of the comics. Can never get my hands on'em. Stuck watching old cartoons. ) see whats odd i think sally is a perfect match because they did so much together and she does... she just shows it in her speacial lil way u know? see im wondering why everyone thinks amy is perfect? i mean shes 12 hes 16 and maybe there ages have gone up a lil since last time but still. i guess why people vote on amy is because there more use to seeing her with sonic. But my question is what IF they make a new girl and throw amy away like they did to sally? then what would happen? would everyone who was on amy's side turn to the girl?... idk im always a question person lol. i was thinking the same thing what i think should have happened is instead of adding the crazy amount of char's that Sonic has they should have stuck mainly to the origionals like sally, tails, knux and maybe a few others. what i dont like are char's like big the cat or cream, they just ruin the whole idea. shadow as ok for a while, before he started using guns and became a super Emo. i kinda like shadow with a gun but i don't u know? i mean i think rouge and shadow are perfect because they are just do u know? i agree big and cream make no sense in the game or show. i think the guns ruined shadow he was already as stong as knux and alwost as fast as Sonic he doesnt need them true... i think its a lil to much for him to look so violent especially to the younger fans. i stopped liking him once he got a gun :p i mean i like him but i don't like him as a fan girl anymore.

I think Amy... Hehe, I always make an argument whenever it's about who sonic should be with... First of, I think Sonic shouldn't be with anyone. Sonic loves his freedom and I find it hard for him to settle down somewhere with someone and having responsibilities when you can clearly tell that he has no rules. I couldn't imagine it!
As for the 'Sonic loves Sally and Sally loves Sonic', I can't argue with that. However, what I can argue about is that the Sonic in the comics is not the same Sonic as the one from the games. Why, you ask? Difference between comics and games: relationships. In the game, you don't see Sonic interested that much in girls let alone any time for them, with the exception of Amy. In the comics, there are love triangles... Now, I think it was Sally and Mina once... Then Fiona... And can't say Amy but she is apart of the 'love' triangle. Now let me get one thing straight: Sonic is NOT supposed to be making love triangles! Why do I say Amy? I don't have any strong evidence that she and Sonic will be together, but being the only girl that's interested in him in the games seems like there's a chance... Also, anyone notice something at the end of Sonic and the Black knight? I know it's a spin-off but Sonic was going to have a date with Amy and totally forgot about it because of his adventure...
Oh and someone mentioned age difference? Sonic's 15 and Amy's 12... 3 years ain't that big! And besides, love has no age limits. But really I don't think Sonicwould settle down with anyone

bloody- u do relize that they could replace amy any minute now right? i mean look what they did to sally they kept her for a few years then BOOM
amy rose! it was like bubble gum u chew on it until your done with it and get a new piece.

he should stay single. my opinion is because of this: have you ever seen a show where the admit there love and all that gushy crap? well, if they had a funny way of playing keep away (edge: sonic and amy, knukles and rouge) the funniness of the keep away game would go away.

Personally I don't like amy. O_O She just sorta bugs me. >.> I'm kinda strange like that.
And I don't think Sonic should be with anyone, and IF anyone it should beSally. Not saying I'm crazy OMFG over the pairing of them, just if SOnic did go with Sally I wouldn't have a spaz. If he went with Amy...Dear god I'd jump off of a building and have my body ripped apart by dinosaurs.
And I'm not just saying this because I have a "thing" for Sonic either. O-o Just my opinion.

4. I dunno if you can actually count Sally as a character, the comics were not even actual sega or yuji naka creation.
