Kurai listened to Seyla's story as he kept his eyes on the strange glove. "So it isn't part of your akward halloween costume huh?" Kurai said flipping his necklace back around as he noticed it was flipped during his fall. ".. you sure you aren't still in some headache during your vision at that lab?" Kurai smirked. "that is one unlikely story..." Kurai chuckled.
He then smiled and took a swift bow twoards her. "Would you mind?" Kurai chuckled and looked straihgt down at the glove and placed his hand on the glove and gripped onto it. He then gave it a slight tug trying to take it off. To his suprise the Glove didn't come off. Kurai facefaulted.
"What the devil..." Kurai frowned and then placed his other hand on it tugging at it again. Still no movement, after another few tugs Kurai quickly removed his hands off the glove shaking them.
"OW! Dang it! Its hot! Did you summon a damn flame Seyla!?" Kurai said staring at her angrily. "I thought you had control over your flame now!"

"No and thanks for the insult by the way" she growled under her breath. She didn't appreciate it one bit, she just wanted the glove off, and she wanted it off now! Not to mention he told her that her story was unlikely. Who else would have done it then? Of course she'd never mentioned it to him but the military wanted to make her a weapon since the day they knew of her power!
Sighing she allowed him to examine her gloved hand by extending it outward for him to take. It felt like it was wired to her, connected to her in more ways that just being stuck to her skin, and that scared her. As he pulled she tried to pull him away. It hurt her when he did that, kind of like someone pulling your hair out. And thus she cried out,
"Stop!!!" it was hard to conceal the few tears that left her eyes. But it wasn't her cry that had stopped Kurai. She noted his exclamation with as much surprise as he. His stare, it only confirmed her thoughts about this glove. She couldn't control it, whatever it did. Seyla, instead of stammering that she didn't do it, turned away and ran into the maze of dense fog with tears streaming down her face.

Kurai was half confused when she yelled out stop. Kurai had already removed his hands off the glove. "hey.. chill Seyla.. i already stopped trying.. what the heck is up with that glove.." Kurai groaned. The texture of the glove was no ordinary wool, but of some metallic roughning on it too. Kurai obviously concluded that it was no ordinary glove and was attatched onto Seyla in more then one way.
"so.. maybe it was placed on by some military..." Before Kurai could finish Seyla had already dashed off into the dense fog. "HEY! SEYLA!" Kurai yelled out and then chased after her only to trip on his monk robe once again. "DID YOU FORGET!? IM LOST HERE!" Kurai groaned and then slammed onto the grass.
"AHH.. damn burn.. that didn't feel too good/..." Kurai groaned and looked at his hands with the burn marks on them.
"dangg.."

Seyla ran as fast as she could. This was just how she felt at the school that day during the incident. The day she caused the fire. She just ran home as fast as she could and never looked back, straight to her mother's waiting arms. The problem was that this time her mother wasn't there.
As she raced through the hedge maze she quickly found herself lost. Panting, from both running and crying, she let herself fall to the ground. She slammed her balled fists into the ground as hard as she could and a flame burst from her gloved hand. Seyla let out a loud cry of frustration at this and she stood again.
She paced and kicked and punched whatever she could as she cried hysterically. She knew this would happen, it was only a question as to how long it was before it did happen. What about Zero? What would he think? She'd be moving soon, she couldn't let this go on unknown to her father. He could have information. But now she was just...dangerous, uncontrollable. She wasn't safe to be around.
Seyla could see it already, they'd lock her up in a cell in some institution. They'd poke and prod at her, run tests, endless tests, and inject things into her. Mutate her, turn her into something she wasn't. They wouldn't stop until there wasn't any sign of the girl Seyla Hawking left with in her. From a distance, such as where Kurai was, each burst of flame rose higher and higher into the air. They were all different colors, a way of her expressing her rage, her frustration. One would be red, her deep hatred for it all, while another would be blue, her sadness, her depression. She just wished it were all some bad dream.

"Alright.." Kurai sighed and stood up dusting off his monk robe once again. "What the hell is wrong with this gurl..." Kurai sighed. He then looked about him seeing that he had nothing to do but wander about the dense fog till he could find an exit.
"I guess i'll just go twoards where Seyla headed... Maybe i can find her..then she will tell me how to get out of this damn place.." Kurai groaned. "damn halloween.." Kurai let out a final sigh before walking across the grass twoards where Seyla headed.
"wow.. somone took the time to make a hedge maze?" Kurai said in an impressed voice as he stood in front of the hedge maze. He looked about the walls and smiled. "this would be so much fun..." Kurai smiled to himself. "Maybe i shoulda let Mint and Tale come.. they would have enjoyed this a lot.." Kurai rubbed his chin. "oh well." Kurai then walked away from the hedge maze. "No point in getting lost purposly since im already lost." Kurai giggled. He then saw a giant blast of blue and red coming from the ground. Kurai blinked in confusion and then relized that the blue and red was reflecting off from some other source.
"whoa.." Kurai said looking above the hedge walls and saw two flashes of red and blue towering above the walls shining brightly.
"Well.. thats an intersting colours for halloween. what kind of decroation is that..." Kurai chuckled. He then thought for a bit.
"wait a minute..."
"SEYLA!" Kurai yelled out and ran into the hedge maze. "DUDE GURL! YOur going to burn yourself in there if you summon a flame that big!"

The flames kept coming in all sorts of color, black, white, green, every color imaginable seemed to make an appearance in Seyla's flames. It was taking its toll too. She was beginning to grow exhausted, she had used a lot of energy doing all of that. But there was just so much rage, so much emotion locked up within her, begging for release. She knew no other way to do so.
She was afraid to admit it but she was scared now and then she heard his voice. Kurai... he had seen her flames and recognized something... She heard her name being called by him and thats all it took for her to suddenly stop. Her gaze turned back to the glove. That stupid glove. What would be her fate now? She didn't want to think about it. It all made her sick. But she was scared...so scared
Now the girl that had just been releasing huge flame summons with colors so beautiful they still had yet to be named. Yet those colors so beautiful still held so much destruction. Maybe that was why they still didn't have names. She crumpled to the ground and cowered, curling into a ball with her hands covering her head. What was wrong with her?

Kurai ran this way and that way around the hedge maze using the gigantic colour changing flames as his source to where Seyla was. "damn it damn it damn it why can't they make mazes easier?" Kurai then stopped and slapped his forehead.
"Kurai you dumass." Kurai sighed and then threw his right arm twoards the sky, out from his wrist came out a flash of red and orange it twisted about compressing itself until it molded into the shape of a sword. Kurai tossed it upwards into the air and then caught it with both hands, his body fell sorta forward from the weight of the sword. "haha.. heh been a while.. damn ... weeeeiiighhtt!" Kurai expanded the last word as he lifted it upwards and brought it down into the hedge side and slashed a way through it. The flames didn't stay to burn the leaves on the hedge though, Kurai gave it enough flame to only last for a while.
Kurai then smiled and then pumped his left hand. "Yes..." Kurai then threw it upwards onto his shoulder. "Alright now! lets do this!" Kurai then trotted forward twoards the flame steadily gaining up to a dash and slashed any hedge walls that blocked him from the flames.
Finally he was able to find Seyla falling to the ground and covering her head.
"Hey! SEyla gurl!" Kurai yelled out and dashed twoards her, before he could reach her the flames around her suddenly bursted outwards into a massive uncontrolled flame throwing Kurai backwards. The flame dazzled about with many colours and all. Kurai's flame sword fell out of his hands and hit the ground evaporating immediaitly.
"holy s**t.. what did you do Seyla? Summon a phoniex?" Kurai scooted backwards on his butt away from Seyla's flame. "THe thing.. is huge.." Kurai breathed heavily as the flame began to overwhelm his body.

Seyla didn't realize what she was doing anymore. It was out of her control, almost as if someone else controlled her body. She felt as if she were floating, simply floating in darkness. She didn't understand why she floated in the darkness or anything about it, she just knew she was out of control.
Nothing reached her, no voices, no smells, no sights, she was out of touch. An odd state of unconsciousness, in which she herself wasn't alert yet her body still reacted. How to explain it? There really wasn't a way. The summon that radiated from her body started to diminish as she fell deeper and deeper into her sleep. Slowly the flames colors changes and its size grew smaller until there was no flame. There was just a girl laying pitifully on the ground.
She stirred a few moments later, the tear stains still visible under her eyes and on her cheeks. Slowly, she sat up and blinked staring at Kurai. She could smell the smoke, the unmistakeable mixture of gas and oxygen that created fire. She could even see the trails of smoke that rose in the air. Seyla looked down at her hand and her body, she was unharmed, uninjured, with the exception of exhaustion.
Unsure of what to say, but knowing she had to say something, Seyla looked back at Kurai who sat opposite of her. He was rather far away, probably because of some of her flame summons, she figured. He looked shocked, surprised, and maybe even a hint of fear lay hidden deep in his eyes. Her words were soft, and barely audible, but they still hung in the air.
"I'm ....sorry..." She wished she could say something else, she wished there was an explanation, but the truth of the matter was that right now Seyla Hawking was very helpless, and very dangerous at the same time.

Kurai watched helplessly as he watched the flame summon slowly burn about brilliantly in front of him, Kurai had no idea how he could stop the flame, he was a flame manipulator himself, so how could he cease the fire? The Hedge maze certainly won't help. So Kurai just sat there looking up at the flame.
Fourtantly it slowly dyed down, Kurai's breathing began to regain its normal pace. Kurai then sighed and then held his chest as he let out a long sigh. ".. that... was.. scary.." Kurai chuckled and then turned to Seyla who seemingly was tired. "... what were you thinking Seyla..."
"I'm ....sorry..."
Kurai rose an eyebrow and looked at her curiosly. "... apparently we have a lot more control sessions with that flame of yours.. but.." Kurai stood up and dusted himself once again. But before his 3rd swipe he just decide to give up. Why bother anymore. Aparently Kurai won't be staying clean for a while. "... that flame.. was immense..." Kurai said in awe. He then turned to Seyla. "Im amazed your still concious..." Kurai whispered. "... i could never.. summona flame like that.."

She rubbed her temples lightly, easing the pain that throbbed through her head. Testing the glove a bit by touching some surfaces, she checked that it wouldn't start any fires again. Once satisfied Seyla crawled over to join him. She was silent.
How could he be laughing about this?! Didn't he understand what had just happened?!
Cautiously she spoke to him,"Kurai. I have a confession. That flame...the one that you said you could never manage to summon.... well I didn't summon that flame..." She looked him straight in the eye. If he were to ever believe her, letting him see through those two orbs, the ones that were said to be the doors to ones soul, would be the only way to convince him.

"so how did you do that Seyla.." Kurai said still in a quite tone, just the sight of it frightened him, such a horrifying yet mystical looking flame. He used to be able to make flame arts back in the day, scultping the flames into people he knew and such, but such colour made Seyla's flame look so alive and hauntingly beatiful. Kurai then listened to what Seyla had to say, she was able to catch his full attention by looking straight at him.
Kurai froze up as she heard the woods, he just stood there looking straight back at her eyes. Looking straight back at her.
"Wh--what do you mean.." Kurai whispered back at her. ".. what are you talking about? You mean somone else was here? Then who was the one who did it? Did they hurt you!?" Kurai began to get excited and yet scared at the same time. "... how horrifying.." Kurai thought. "Somone who could make a flame like that.. must be powerful..."

Kurai responded as she expected but it still aggrivated her. His questions raced at a mile a minute at hitting her hard. If she could make him be quiet then maybe she'd be able to explain. She groaned audible and slammed her fist on the ground with a loud
"NO!" a small spark emerged from her gloved hand, it was a simple flame, of the generic reddish color, and a small one too, but a flame none the less. She pulled her hand up and the flame extinguished in seconds.
Sighing heavily, she rubbed her hand, the gloved one especially.
"I don't know how to explain it. No one was here, the flame definately came from my body. But I didn't produce it. I think it has to do with this glove, its a catalyst of sorts. Yet that still doesn't explain why I did it. Sure I was rather emotionally intense at the moment but I didn't want to create flames, they just happened themselves. It was out of my control. I was barely even conscious when that last flame was created" she had a strong argument. And surely the way her glove hand seemed to create a simply flame when she slammed her fist into the ground out of frustration would support it even more now wouldn't it?

Kurai immediatly leaped back a bit as she slammed her fist into the ground, He had a feeling he also kept a mental note to keep distance between an upset Seyla from now on. Kurai then listened to her theory on how she was able to create flames like that. "... so maybe the military really did do experiments on you.." Kurai eyes narrowed.
"but.. why do something like this? Why give you something to amplify your flames?" Kurai placed a hand on his chin and scratched it thoughtfully. "What in the world does this mean..." Kurai clenched his teeth and then snapped his fingers. a single spark was created from it.
"damn it..." Kurai then looked over twoards her and sighed. "pitiful." Kurai sighed and then closed his robe tighter to his body. "Who would experiment on you like that.. thats just.. ugg.." Kurai then shook his head angrily. "that's just like..." It then clicked to him.
"Like Mint..." Kurai then looked over to her and rushed over to her kneeling down. ".. tell me.. is there anything on that glove that may lead you to who created you?"

Seyla sighed and shook her head back and forth. Honestly she wasn't sure where to start with the whole military thing.
"Well you have to promise to keep it quiet but Kurai they've been doing this to me, or trying to at least, ever since I was young. They'd kidnap me from my house and just-" she stopped, cringing at the thoughts, and the memories that cascaded through her mind right then and there. It was rather painful to relive for her.
It took a moment for it all to pass, no maybe like 5 minutes before she spoke again. She had since wrapped her arms around her legs, and her chin rested on her knees, a position she was rather fond of.
"A weapon Kurai, they see me as an opportunity to create the greatest weapon out there, the greatest soldier. Don't you see, that if they have me, then they don't need an army. I'm not the only one who can manipulate flames Kurai, you and I both know that very well. If this is true, and the military is behind this then I have a feeling that Ria high is going to be in grave danger." Her words were the ones she wished she would never have to speak. She had brought peril to Ria High, the place she had grown to love. As she let the words sink in she remembered another thing that Kurai mentioned.
"Who's Mint?" she inquired

Kurai looked about her as if she was different person now. This was diffently a large load on Kurai. "Seyla..." Kurai said softly kneeling down twoards her. "This... This.." Kurai didn't know what to think anymore. THe military coming into Ria High and finiding about the strange arts these people learn and then capturing all his friends. Then use them for the military? It just frightined him. But he smiled and then placed a hand on Seyla's shoulder trying to comfort here. "Come On Seyla! We perfectly Know the teachers here in Ria High would protect us from any harm the military wants us to do to us!"
He then Gave off a warm smile twoards her and a slight chuckled. "And if the military does try to take you away. You will have me on your side! With me and my holy flame there would be now way they can lay a finger on you!" And with that said Kurai lept up and lifted his hand high in the air summoning off a flame. The Flame let out a bright violent orange glow reflecting off his silky monk robe. "Yeah!" Kurai yelled out with some firey attitude.
He then chuckled once again and kneeled back down with the flame held out in front of him. "You have my promise Seyla." He said with a smile. "I won't tell neone.." He then sighed and looked off twoards the flames center.
"and MInt.." He slowly changed his facial expression. "You don't have to worry about her..."
