Mirea nodded absently as La told her she needed to grab her clothes. She relaxed a bit, leaning on the rock while she waited. She giggled at what she was sure was a response to the little green from La. Still smiling Mirea nodded at La and started strolling toward the entrance. "That's fine," she said as she walked. "I don't blame her. It's terrible down there." She dramatically shuddered, then put her usual smile on and continued.

La chuckled at Mirea's shudder. "I don't really mind it," she said with a shrug. "It's cold, but when it's hot out during the summer, it's a relief. I can see why you don't like it, though. It'd be nice if there was some way to get real sunlight down there, instead of just glows." Nodding to herself, she wrapped an arm loosely around Isonth's neck and looked at Mirea. Isonth twitched her tail but otherwise did nothing, keeping pace with her rider admirably. Even in just a few days, she had gained better control of her too-long legs.
I agree with her, you know, Isonth said conversationally. It's terrible down there.
That's because you're a creature of the air, sweetheart, La answered her silently and leaned down to kiss her nose. Isonth snorted softly.
