After pouring the tea, Kouyo returned the kettle to the stove and settled back in his chair. He peered down into his teacup and blew gently on the steaming water, then closed his eyes and sighed softly. After the water had had a few minutes to cool a little, the High Priest took a sip of the tea. Then he turned his attention to the puzzle.

When Tsubei finally spoke, he glanced up at her and smiled as he considered her question briefly. "I guess my favorite colors are purple and red and pink," he told her after a moment. "Although I also like white, and really any color that is not too dark."

Tsubei watched him still, the smile on her face as she thanked him for preparing the tea. She chose her type and let it steep for a while, listening intently as he told her his favorite colors. She scribbled a few notes thoughtfully as he told her.

"Those colors suit you," She mentioned softly, her eyes drifting to look up at him, that thoughtfulness still present, "I was given a gift of some fabric, which matches the color of your hair nicely." Tsubei wasn't quite sure what to do with it, so it's been sitting idly on her fabric shelves. Perhaps she can make Kouyo some good robes for warmer weather that aren't as cumbersome.

"I thought that it might be nice if you had clothing that was more familiar and relaxing for you." She smiled to him, then returned her eyes to her pages. She continued to scribble a few notes, then returned to her spring-inspired design. She tried to create the illusion of blossoming petals floating in the wind.

The High Priest blushed deeply and peered down at his hands, thanking Miss Tsubei sincerely and also hinting that she need not use up her gift on something for his scrawny frame.... He did admit that he wished he had a few more different things from home to wear, as he still found his priestly robes worlds more comfortable than any Gaian garb he had yet tried.

He fell silent then, closing his eyes. After a few moments, Kouyo glanced back up at Tsubei again, and inquired what the clothing is like in the Silver World? Fairly similar to what Porcelain wore in the Golden World, he gathered, but he was still curious.

Tsubei simply smiled to him, seeing the blush on his face as she was already studying him a bit more and planning design in her mind. She shook her head a bit to his statement.

Tsubei can't think of anything more appropriate for it than as something useful and comforting to those she cares for. They will be special and simple....and familiar, she hopes.

When he had fallen silent, she returned to her sketchbook to draw a model that resembled his body frame, tracing a basic outline for the robes in mind. When he posed his question, she paused a moment, tapping her pencil lightly against her bottom lip.

"It's very similar. Same basic designs and build, though perhaps a bit more flowy and flashy," She spoke in a thoughtful tone, "Though, perhaps more flashy for some than others." Style hasn't changed much, though.

The High Priest quietly thanked her again, and picked up his teacup to drink. He did not want to stare at her work while she was sketching, as he would have felt rude doing so, and so Kouyo instead worked on fitting the last pieces of his puzzle together.

... Perhaps he could somehow stick the pieces together permanently and put them up on the wall as a decoration of some sort, he mused half to himself. A nicer picture might have been more desirable, though; the pretzels were not bad-looking, but... also not terribly exciting. And the lack of a straight edge around the whole picture bothered the priest....
