Yes, Hidate has interpreted that a unlocked thread such as the Character's list is a means of the captain wanting Members to inform him that they are not on the list that was posted. Thus he posted his profile link up in that thread, rather then PMing a moderator or the Captain.
I simply pointed out that this isn't his guild, and that he shouldn't have assumed such a theory for the unlocked thread.

This was like three years ago, I think... And I actually am not using the profile format since it isn't that big of a deal... As fusions of Shinigami and Hollow, Vizard are capable of using the powers of each. Their true power, however, emerges when they are mixing their powers. One of the ways Vizard can do this is by casting Hido, a special category of spell only they are capable of using.
Any Vizard can learn normal Hido; Ancient Hido are restricted to Captain-level Vizard and must be learned in numerical order from someone who already knows the spell. Additionally, only one Ancient Hido may be used per battle due to power consumption issues. Each Ancient Hido uses up more energy than all the power of a Shinigami who's reached their power limit.
HIDO
Name: Hido #1: Smokescreen
Type: Support
Element: N/A
Range: 50 feet in a sphere
Division: N/A
Description: The first of the Hido spells is a support spell. Upon completion of the chant, the user throws out their hands. A large amount of smoke then billows forth, covering the area in a dense smokescreen. As it is effective on the user as well, this is primarily suggested as a distraction before escape. As an incredibly low-level spell, this smoke is neither particularly hazardous nor likely to stay around for long, and even a small blast can clear it away.
Incantation: Billow forth and blind my enemies. Hido #1: Smokescreen!
Name: Hido #2: Burn
Type: Support (due to lack of serious power for offense)
Element: Fire
Range: 1 inch

Description: Hido #2 is an extremely low level power, considered more of a practice technique than anything else. The spell summons a small flame on the tip of a finger, useful for little more than lighting candles or being a small light when in a dark room.

Name: Hido #17: Axe of Thunder

Description: A more serious spell than the single-digit jokes, the Axe of Thunder is a heavy hit that is most popular after a series of physical strikes on the enemy, becoming a finishing blow. Usually chanted while fighting, not standing still, at the end of the incantation the user throws their arm down and shoots a large, powerful blast of lightning at their foe. Recommended for use in mid-air combat.

Name: Hido #21: Wall of Churning Wind

Description: A moderately powerful defensive spell, the Wall of Churning Wind creates a vortex around the user designed to protect them for ten seconds or so from projectiles and spells while they take a short breather and gather their energy. Its power could make it a higher level spell, in the 50s somewhere, but due to the short duration, it has been considered a lower-level spell than it might otherwise be.

Name: Hido #41: Frostbite Cleaver

Description: Frostbite Cleaver is a moderately powerful ice-type spell, spoken easily and moderately powerful. Upon completion of the incantation, the user clasps their hands together and extends their index and middle fingers, to form a vaguely gun-like shape. They will then slash somehow, the direction is usually irrelevant, sending out a crescent-moon shaped blast of ice along the diagonal chosen, the size depending on how large of an arc the user made. The "outside" of the moon is the leading edge. Generally recommended for targets slower than you who are more likely to be hit.

Name: Hido #45: Stalagmite Eruption

Stalagmite Eruption is a neat spell that will raise seven stalagmites from the ground with no warning in a one hundred foot radius around the caster. This would not be an issue except for the fact that these stalagmites come up one at a time, directly under the target, forcing them to do some fancy footwork in order to avoid getting impaled. Most acrobatic people can handle this spell fairly well, though if used in succession, or by two people on one target, it could be quite a headache.

Name: Hido #84: Miraculous Restoration

Most generally used when a fight is over to prevent death. It can only be used once while actually in a battle; if it's to be used again the person must get out of the battle.

Name: Hido #87: Jupiter's Storm of Thunder

Description: One of the more irritatingly powerful Hido, Storm of Thunder is a mighty spell that unleashes a torrential blast of electric and wind power at the opponent. It is most likely to blast apart even a group of targets, as its dual-elemental nature also gifts it the power to move at the speed of Shunpo, and its blast radius is larger than many buildings.

Description: A high level spell of the same type as Jupiter's Storm of Thunder, Blizzard of Darkness has the same range both to the target and as a blast radius, though it is somewhat slower as it only travels at one and a half times the user's speed. However, Blizzard of Darkness is a dual-element spell cast with elements who possess greater offensive properties, and will break straight through barriers and other guards unless the opponent has pumped more power into them than this spell possesses.

ANCIENT HIDO
Name: Ancient Hido #87: Blossoms of Fire

Description: A high-power offensive spell, Blossoms of Fire creates six red pillars of energy ten feet tall and four inches across, spaced thirty feet apart. Each of these pillars is considered part of one large attack. Two seconds after the pillars are created, a high-pitched whine fills the air. A few seconds after that, each of the pillars explodes over a circular area of thirty feet. Due to it's area of attack, it forms a shape similar to a crimson flower.

Name: Ancient Hido #95: The End of the World

Description: One of the most powerful offensive spells, The End of the World is a devastating ice spell that creates a chunk of ice 150 feet wide in every direction from the center, created by breaking the Law of Thermodynamics and instantly dropping the temperature of everything in the entire area to Absolute Zero when the spell's first segment is complete to freeze whatever is in its radius. Interestingly, this is a two-part spell. The chant's section ending "Haiōnie Krustalle" traps the target in ice, but it is only with the completion of the chant that the box will explode and shatter, hitting everything inside with tremendous power. The spell is non-fatal if the user chooses for the attack not to kill them; the user is able to choose to leave the target in place so they can thaw out naturally if they are caught and overpowered by the attack.

Incantation: Darkness beyond the twilight, Redder than the blood that flows. Buried in the flow of time, in thy great name here I make a vow to darkness. To all those fools that stand before us, with your strength and mine, deliver doom to them all! Ancient Hido #98: Dragon Slave!
Name: Ancient Hido #99: Giga Slave
Type: Offensive
Element: Chaos
Range: Can reach enemies 500 feet from the target; 200 foot blast
Description: The most nightmarish spell in existence, Giga Slave is said to call upon the Lord of Nightmares to strike at all foes, and its power certainly suggests as much. It is known by none but the most powerful Vizard, whose perfect union with their dark side is the only thing that makes it possible to survive the use of this spell. Upon completion of the casting, a small point of light will appear at the target. This will immediately be followed by a detonation simultaneously across the entire blast radius at above the power of any Shinigami (even those at maximum strength). This spell cannot be canceled out or disrupted once started, as the chaotic energy of the Lord of Nightmares disrupts all attempts to stop the spell from being cast.
Incantation: Darkness beyond blackest pitch, deeper than the deepest night. King of Darkness who shines like gold upon the Sea of Chaos; I call thee, swear myself to thee. Let the fools who stand before me be destroyed by the power you and I possess... Ancient Hido #99: Giga Slave!
Name: Ancient Hido #100: Ragna Blade

Description: The second of the very, very few spells that call upon the Lord of Nightmares for power. While Giga Slave is a blast of pure destruction over a massive area, Ragna Blade focuses all of its power into a sword of chaotic black energy for the wielder to use, said to possess the power to cut across dimensions. Oddly, this makes it much safer to use than Giga Slave. Upon completion of the chant, the sword forms in the user's hand. The Ragna Blade is capable of cutting through defenses that are not at least twice its already incredible power, regardless of the defense's effect. The ultimate power of the Vizard.
Incantation: Lord of the dreams that terrify. Sword of cold and darkness, free yourself from the heaven's bonds. Become one with my power, one with my body, and let us walk the path of destruction together. Power that can smash even the souls of the gods! Ancient Hido #100: Ragna Blade!
