The best word for what Auryn did with the jaw breakers was fondle them. She ran her fingers over the surface, feeling the tiny and irregular bumps on the otherwise smooth surface. She brought one to her nose, sniffing softly before taking a very deep inhale. They smelled almost chalky at first, but she could also smell the sugar in them and something else; probably whatever flavor was under this super hard shell.
Santana followed behind diligently, making a quick stop to pick out a decent sized bag of the sour kids that Litural liked so much. He paused behind them, a safe distance, allowing Auryn to have the independence that she would so desperately beg for if she found him too close to her and Dritan.
"Can have?" Auryn suddenly asked, turning to where she felt her guardian standing and holding the jawbreakers out to him to see.
"You can have two, 'Ryn, those will last you a while."
"Kay," was the little girl's response as she picked the two that felt the best and went to hand the others back to Dritan. "Thank you," she said to him with a smile.

Dritan just watched her check out the jawbreakers and found it was just the same way his brother would do when he found something new. He thought that maybe he would have her meet his brother as they have lots in common, but he thought that would be a nother time.
"Your welcome," he replied as he took the ones she handed back to him and put them back to where they belonged.
With Dritan attention for Auryn and with all the sweet smelling candy all around them and each of them went into a different drection were at least two of the wings would get some candy. Dritan squeeked when they did and smacked at least two of them but he heard the cruching of candy as two of the wings got what they wanted and were happily muching and shook his head and took two jawbreakers from the jar and gave them to the two that he had smacked.
"Sorry about that, so is there any other candy you want to check out, Auryn?" he asked with a slight giggle.

Auryn meeped a little when she sensed the sudden quick movements from the wings, and Dritan as he smacked them. She looked around curiously, not understanding what happened...but the smile was quick to spread on her lips when she heard the crunching of happy mouths.
"Taste testing," she stated, giggling as well.
She reached out to take Dritan's hand again, her hair swaying around her face as she shook her head, answering his question; "No. All done."
"We should really be getting home, anyway Auryn. Lit is going to start wondering what happened to us," Santana supplemented.

Dritan giggled, "Yes they are. They like doing something like this all the time." he said with a smile as the owner of the shop came up to them or slithered to them as she was a green-brown Naga with a black dress on. She had gave a little tap to one of Dritan's wings to reinforce that they were being naughty. "I see that they are up to there no good," she said.
Dritan turned and gave her a hug. "Like always, but this is my new friend, Auryn and her father," he said.
"Hi, I'm Seka and Its nice to meet the both of you and your beautiful, Auryn. Also any candy is on the house,"
"Ok, but I did have lots of fun with you," he said to Auryn.

Santana and Auryn exchanged pleasantries with the shop owner...and even though she said the treats where on the house, Santana made sure to leave at least a few dollars on the counter before they left.
"Great friends now," Auryn would say as she gave the boy a big, warm hug...taking care to not knock any of his wings in the process.
"I'm sure we'll be seeing you again someday, Dritan. It was very nice meeting you. Right, Auryn?" the wolf man said to his charge.
Auryn smiled, nodding her head as she pulled away from hew fellow spawn; "Very nice. Bye-bye, Dritan!"
((Well, its taken us almost a year! xD But is done! We'll have to do another one sometime after I get Auryn to grow. ))

Seka returned the plesantries to the pair and she thought that Auryn was very cute, as affectonlay messed up Dritan's hair.
"Yes we are great friends now a very beautiful great friend," he said to her has he gave her a hug and his wings also gave there verson of hugs to Auryn too.
"Bye Auryn, see you sometime soon!," he said to both of them as they left the shop and he when with Seka to the back were they could talk and he giver her what his mother told him to give her.
((I know. But its done and I had lots of fun. Yes I do want more pds once Auryn grows.))
