Riknolu was just...terribly happy. When his sister crawled to sit beside him, he turned his big eyes upon her and smiled eagerly. That was his sister, though he did not know the words for it, he understood that she was his. In a childish way that is.
He felt the first light smack of the spider doll when Akorwae began to flail it around him. Rather then bawling though, the boy's happy gurgle sounded again and he rounded his own spider doll in preparation to return her actions. However, as Burryna would clasp her hands upon his cheeks, he would drop his hand down and look up at her with his wide golden eyes. His little lips pursed slightly as he responded to her question. "Wooooooooooooo!"

Akorwae's face squished in frustration. Why was he still getting all of the attention, wasn't she the one to be pampered and stuff. While her mother was saying something to Riknolu, she banged her spider plush against the floor. A word that sounded similar to 'Mamma' came from her lips along with a string of gibberish. Sure she could almost say mother but she wasn't that much more advanced than her brother. The little girl pouted for a moment, hoping her mother would pay more attention to her and dropped her spider.
How odd... Riknolu gets hit by his sister and he is just happy as ever. Spoiling their fun at this age would not have much affect, may as well let them play until they are old enough to understand the significance of their genders. The male child was just so interesting to Burryna, having only had younger sisters, she never had experience with a little male before. The thought of sacrifice had crossed her mind after they were born. Though there wasn't a need for it really. He was lucky to be the first son born, better than third. Being of their standing the number of sons was important. He would have a better life than most males anyway. Akorwae would soon learn the importance of her role, she will have so much. She was brought back by Riknolu's 'response.'
"So little boy, do you like the idea of magic? Perhaps we will have some fun with that when you are older, your father knows some." Burryna looked to Akorwae who had still been pouting. "My little girl." She smiled some. "You will be a priestess of a sorts I know, you have much a head of you." She ruffled her hair slightly and picked up the forgotten spider and gave it back to her.

Burryna pulled her hands from Riknolu's cheeks, and the boy blinked at his mother. She had been making sounds after all and had his attention held for a short period of time. Though that attention soon returned to his sister, who was now getting attention herself. Riknolu suffered no pangs of jealousy though...the small babe wabbled on his butt, his body rocking from side to side until he managed to topple himself towards his sister.
Riknolu showed no signs of being upset as he flopped on his side. his fre hand reached, not for a toy or even his mother, but rather for for his sister. Wiggling his grasping fingers, the boy's mouth opened into a eye scrunching yawn. "ba da nayayayayayaya!" He declared.

Akorwae blinked her large pink eyes at the spider that was held out to her. After a moment she took it and put one of the legs into her mouth. Deciding she didn't like the taste of it very much, she took it out and hit the plushie against the ground. When Riknolu toppled himself over she watched him, curious as to what her brother was doing.
When she reached towards her and declared his rambling, she shook her head. Of course she had no clue as to what he was saying. She thought he wanted the spider and she did not want to give it up again. Akorwae tried to swat his hand away and started to crawl to the other side of the toys. Slowing though because all of the playing was starting to make her tired.
Such short attention spans these two had. It was so weird how one moment they had to have something, and the next they did not care for it anymore. So confusing they were. Again she lost both of their attention and she stood up and went to sit in her close chair again. She watched as Riknolu tried to reach for his sister, who did not want any part of it and was crawling again. A good thing of them being so small was that at least they hadn't much energy.

Riknolu was hardly discouraged at his sisters actions. Neither the swat, nor her attempt to crawl away made him cry out in dissappointment of anger. He merely rolled himself to his belly and attempted to coordinate his arms and legs so they would move him...thus far Rik managed to get his knee's up, and he could rock his butt back and forth as he made grabby hands at his wobbling sister. All of this action though, it had really tired the boy out. Once more Rik yawned. His little gold eyes squinched up as his small mouth formed a giant 0. When he ceased his yawning, the boy merely closed his eyes. Rik was content enough to just go to sleep on the fllor, so long as he knew Akorwae was nearby.

Akorwae's crawl slowed and she stopped, sitting in place. Playing always made her tired, like any little one. Her big pink eyes blinked as she watched her brother try to make his way at her. At her brother's yawn, she followed suit. One of her little arms stretched out and her eyes opened back slowly. She wanted to continue her playing, but watching her brother was making her tired. The little girl looked at her mother for a moment before yawning again.
Burryna watched the two little ones. They seemed quite tired now. She sighed. "I guess I should put you two to bed now. I must remember to make your father watch you later." She walked over and picked up Akorwae and went back over to the little girl's crib. Her daughter looked up at her once before closing her eyes. Burryna went over and picked Riknolu up, walking over to put him in his crib as well.
