((Yay for returning! *watches as Starreh is pegged with a scythe* O.o))
Kanna focused on getting the mirror to show the Dead Woods while holding it up for Chronos to see. Soon the mirror began to glow faintly and the image in it changed. Going from Chronos' reflection the image began to show a woods composed of mostly dead trees and a few shrubs. Soon several moonlits walked into view. Roxas with Lethe, Mnemosyne, Saxor, and Nanami appeared in the mirror. They were clearly talking about something but not wanting to waste energy decided to not include sound. Roxas stopped talking and turned as someone else approached. It was a small pup with wings and ribbon markings, Loki. He clearly wasn't happy to see Roxas' family. The picture began to fade back to a normal reflection as Kanna stopped using her ability.
"This is just a few living there. I'm sure you'll meet them all when we get there." She said lowering the mirror, "Yes it does more." She left it at that and began walking again.

Chronos stared in complete amazement at the images that played out before him in the mirror. He had never seen so many interesting moonlits in one place. The blond moonlits seemed strikingly similar to a female of his own pack but the others were absolutely fascinating. The picture before him began to fade to black and sighed, disappointed. He wanted to watch the wolves she had shown him more. That disappointment did not last long at her words and he smiled excitedly at her.
"Really? That is wonderful. I'm actually very eager to meet them. They seem like an interesting group."
When she answered his question about her mirror and began to walk off, he thought he had offended her. He stood there for a moment before scrambling to catch up with her.
"Kanna wait," He tried to reach out for her arm. "If I have offended you in any way I apologize. I did not mean to pry."

Kanna looked back at Chronos and nodded. "Yes. Really. They are interesting..... most of them enjoy causing problems for majority of the others." She said pausing at his apology, "No you have not offended me. Most do not like the other half of my ability..... that and I used to be able to do more but now..... I just can't seem to." She did allow him to grab her arm and stared at it for a moment. She then looked back up with her head slightly tilted. "Do not worry about offending me. It does not bother me." She said starting to walk again, "We should be there in a few minutes.

Chronos released her arm the moment she began to walk and found himself staring down at the hand that had grabbed her, wondering why he had reached out for her and surprised that she had allowed him to do so. He was relieved that she had not been offended by his curious nature. Why he was so concerned with not offending her made absolutely no sense to him. Usually he could care less. Shoving his muddled thoughts to the back of his mind, he continued after her much slower than before.
"They are causing trouble? Intriguing. Yes, I'm certain I will enjoy their company." It was then that he became somewhat unsure of what she had meant about her other ability. He trotted forward quickly to walk beside her and tilted his head. "You cant' seem to use your other ability? Did someone cast a spell upon you?" The thought of that nearly had him growling.

Kanna was focused on getting to the Dead Woods so she didn't have any spare thoughts.... not like she did have them any other time. She nodded at what he had said. "Yes they are very much the troublemakers around here." She said pausing to look back at him, "Why will you enjoy their company?" She was getting ready to start walking again when his questions stopped her. "My ability used to have several other powers. I can only use two of them now. One of them you have seen and I'll show you the other when we get to the Dead Woods if you want. The other powers I had I can't seem to use them. Perhaps it from traveling to this world. I doubt a spell could stop my ability." She said tilting her head at a noise she thought she was hearing. Was he..... growling?

"I believe I would enjoy their company because troublemakers know how to liven up a dull life. And quite honestly, life has been utterly boring since I've arrived in this town." He shrugged. Life really was quite dull around the mansion and the town where the humans often visit with each other. It was all boring to him which was why he spent his days alone and off wondering wherever you could. He was even happier to have bumped into Kanna now that she was taking him to visit some 'troublemakers'.
Chronos listened intently to her as she spoke of her powers and was relieved that no spell could probably be cast on her. Why he reacted the way he did he was unsure but he shook off his agitation and smiled at her.
"Yes, yes I would definitely like to see your other ability. What you can do I find very interesting. I have never met a moonlit who can do what you are able to." He tilted his head as he recalled something she said about traveling to this world. "What do you mean by 'traveling to this world'? What sort of world do you come from?"

Kanna nodded. "Yes they certainly do that." She said starting to continue on. Her life wasn't boring anymore really.... well recently it had been since Agrona hadn't been up to anything but that didn't matter since she didn't care if life was boring. She was glad to have bumped into Chronos. It did give her something to do instead of watch others.
She noticed his smiled and suddenly wondered why he was doing that and if she was supposed to do it back. But she had never really smiled in her life so why start now. "I'm sure I can find a volunteer for me to show you." She said without pausing, "I wasn't originally from this world. I somehow ended up here after one of our many battles with Inuyasha and his friends. My world was Japan with lots of demons wandering around. There was nothing like the things there are here: TV, indoor plumbing, etc."

So she was from another world? Kanna was becoming more and more interesting the more he spoke with her. Then again it sort of made sense. He didn't see that many moonlits or humans walking around in traditional kimonos. A name she had mentioned did ring a bell. Inuyasha? Where had he heard that name before? He saw the image of a sad looking shinto priestess flash in his mind and he looked down at Kanna.
"I have heard that name though the woman spoke of him fondly. Have you ever heard the name Kikyo?"
Now that he thought about it Kikyo did remind him of Kanna slightly. They were both quiet creatures though the young anthro he was following was far more beautiful that the priestess-- He stumbled in his steps at his thoughts. Since when exactly did he view her like that? He was losing his mind...
"Japan huh? I have always wanted to go there though maybe not to your world because I could never survive without modern necessities." Chronos chuckled and then sighed. "Oh to have the power of teleportation or perhaps even flight."

Kanna was starting to take Chronos' silence as an ending to the topic when she sensed him looking at her. She looked up as he began speaking. "Kikyo...... Yes. She's the priestess that Naraku was obsessed about. From what I remember she used to be in love with Inuyasha." She said looking forward once again missing him stumble, "I'm pretty sure the Japan in this world would have the same things you find here. Mine was more of a feudal Japan from what I've read in a few books." She looked up at him when he sighed and tilted her head. "What's so great about teleportation? I can understand flight a bit since my sister Kagura could fly." She asked remembering the rides on Kagura's giant feather.
Walking for several more minutes led to the Dead Woods. Stopping when they reached a clearing surrounded by a few dead trees, Kanna turned to look at Chronos. "Here we are. The Dead Woods."

Chronos nodded as he listened to her. What she said was pretty much the same thing Kikyo had said to him... well, when she spoke to him. She was a rather silent creature. He was surprised to hear that she had a sister though. ((I lurve Kagura so much >__> ))
"With teleportation, I would be able to go wherever I wanted without much hassle. I could be half way across the world in an instant. Control over times seems to pale in comparison of teleportation sometimes." He glanced down at the large stop watch hanging from his hip and then back up at Kanna when she announced that they had arrived. Leaning against his scythe, he stepped into the clearing and looked around curiously. "Interesting... this place looks how I imagined it would. I sort of like it here..." He continued to the center of the clearing, looking this way and that at his surroundings.

Kanna looked at Chronos as he spoke. "I suppose that would be nice to be anywhere in the world in an instant. But isn't half the fun in going to a new place the journey there?" She said shaking her head, "Control over time would be far more interesting and better than teleportation."
She watched him as he looked around and a hint of a smile appeared. "Yes it's quite easy to imagine this place by just hearing the name." She said. She then looked around hoping to spot someone who would let her use her ability on them. "Do you wish to meet the family I had shown you before? They should be nearby."
Indeed Roxas' family was nearby. They were in the next clearing just beyond the dead trees that surrounded Kanna's clearing. Roxas had finally gotten Loki to leave without any trouble. He sighed as he turned back to his family and about what he had been discussing with them. "So Lethe, Mnemosyne are you two sure that you don't want to move with us when we go to move in with Namine?"
Mnemosyne and Lethe both nodded. "It'd be too sunny and cheerful if we went with you. Besides we like it here and we don't want to upset your happy family life." They both said.

((Namine: Yay, they're finally moving *claps happily* ))
"Perhaps that is true...." Chronos agreed softly, nodding his head. He lifted the large stop watch hanging from his hip and stared down at it intently for a moment; looking to Kanna at her mention of time control being interesting. A slight mischievious look crossed his face as he let go of his stop watch and let it return to it's place swinging carelessly at his hip.
"If you find it intriguing I would be honored to grant you the experience, if only for a short time, of controlling time if you desire it."
He perked up at the mention of the family she had shown him and his tail began to wag excitedly. He was finally going to meet other wolves from the Dead Woods. Today couldn't get any more interesting.
"Yes, I would love to meet them. I love forward to it." A sudden thought crossed his mind and a little of his mood fell with it. "They won't attack me will they?"

((Damn. There was something I was going to say but I forgot. D: ))
Kanna watched as he lifted the large watch and stared at it. Was the watch something important like her mirror? She almost shook her head but caught his mischievous look. She tilted her head at what he said. "You could grant me the experience of controlling time? How? Do you control time?" She asked.
Seeing him getting excited over meeting Roxas and his family she turned and began leading him through the dead trees to the next clearing. "No they won't attack you. Not unless you show yourself to be a threat to their family. Then Nanami will jump all over you." She commented before coming out into the clearing, "Hello Roxas."
Roxas nodded at the twins. "If that's how you feel then I'll allow it. I won't go against you two if you don't want to come. I would like to still see you two though." He said pausing when he heard voices approaching. He turned to see Kanna appear with a strange male anthro. "Hello Kanna. What brings you to our part of the Woods?" He asked calmly. Truthfully Kanna scared him and always made him nervous.
Nanami was off to the left of her father, hidden from sight of Kanna and Chronos. She walked around her father narrowing her eyes. "Not bringing any trouble this time are you Kanna?" She asked already on the defensive.
Saxor was in plain sight of Kanna and Chronos when they entered the clearing. "Hey Kanna!" He said smiling, "Who's the guy with ya?" He did hang back a bit already feeling a bit odd.
Mnemosyne and Lethe both nodded. "Of course." Mnemosyne said while Lethe finished, "We'll come visit you. Don't want to leave our favorite person alone for too long." They both looked at Saxor and then to Roxas. Hearing someone approaching they turned to see Kanna with a strange male. "Ooo Kanna. Did you bring us a playmate?" They both chimed.

Chronos hesitated answering Kanna's question about his watch this close to her family. Telling Kanna of his powers was one thing because he at least felt like he could trust her to a degree. These strange wolves, though fascinating, were another story.
"I will explain the watch more later if you are still interested." He said softly, hoping she would hear him as she address the anthro named Roxas. He took note of her warning and gazed around the clearing at all who had gathered. The male anthro Kanna addressed was dressed strangely and he couldn't help but stare at his strange clothes. He glanced down at the young wolf beside the anthro and wondered if this was the Nanami that Kanna spoke of that would attack him. He nodded courteously towards her and offered her a kind smile as he had been taught. Try to get on her good side he thought to himself. The two strange looking moonlits caught his attention and he couldn't help but smile at them when they asked if he was a new playmate.
"Playmate?" He smiled coyly at Mnemosyne and Lethe. "That all depends. I do not play fairly with others."

Kanna nodded slightly at what Chronos said just for her. She was interested in what he meant. Looking at Roxas and his family brought a faint smile as she remembered the trouble she had helped caused near their home with Agrona. "Do not worry Roxas. I am bringing no trouble to your home." She said, "My....... friend here merely wished to meet you all." She looked at Chronos and saw him trying to make Nanami feel better by smiling. That was a mistake. It would only put her on the defensive more. "This is Chronos." She said to Saxor since he asked, "And no Lethe, Mnemosyne. He is not a playmate unless he wishes to be so."
Roxas nodded and looked at Chronos. The anthro was staring at him for some odd reason. "It's nice to meet you Chronos." He said offering a paw to shake, "Please excuse my daughter. She's a little protective of our home and family ever since Agrona." He paused. "I'm sure Kanna has already told you who we are but I'm Roxas. The little lady here is my daughter, Nanami, and my son is this young man, Saxor. The twins are Lethe and Mnemosyne." He said gesturing to each person in turn.
Indeed Chronos' smile had made Nanami more defensive. She didn't trust him or that smile. Especially after what he said to the twins. "And why did he wish to meet us, Kanna?" She practically hissed. She received a stern glare from her father that caused her to wilt a little but not enough for her to back down.
"Hello Chronos!" Saxor said moving over to Nanami and bumping her. He received a small glare from her but he rolled his eyes. "So you wanted to meet us? Did Kanna show you us with her mirror? Is that why?" Once again his head began to throb. The pain made him wince a little.
Mnemosyne looked at Lethe and they both grinned. What a great answer he gave! "Oh he's gonna be lots of fun." Mnemosyne said before turning to Kanna, "We'll be gentle! We'll make...."
"Sure that there's still some left for you Kanna." Lethe finished, "We can tell he'll be a great playmate! Please share him with us Kanna!"
