Levi watched her go, and shrugged again. He didn't see the thoughts behind it, only her actions. "Never said ah was a good dancer, but hokay. I get th'point!" His smile was a bit more subdued as he scratched at the back of his head, taking a look around.
"So if yer not drinkin', and yer not dancin'..." Levi cast about for possibilities, something he was surprisingly good at. Nisha had always been a fickle child, and years of trying to keep his baby sister in good spirits had taught him to be awfully accommodating. Scooping a disposable camera off the table, he waved it at Kitsu with a smile. "How 'bout pictures! So y'can remember the pretty moment." He pointed to the dancing couple and offered the camera to his companion, hoping to see her smile. For someone so insistent on attending a party, she certainly didn't seem in a partying mood!

A look of surprise crossed her face, then turned into a brilliant smile as she hugged him happily in thanks for the idea. She could take pictures, then use the pictures to paint paintings of the day! It was brilliant!
She reached for the camera, much like a child reaching for a treat, an eager look on her face. She wanted to get started!

Levi accepted the hug with arms wide, genuinely pleased she looked so happy. The pirate held the camera back just a bit as they parted...not enough to be mean, just enough to get Kitsu to take the slightest step forward before he handed it over. He didn't quite let go as she reached for it, still smiling. He did a lot of that around her!
"An mebbeh, after th' pictures, you'd do me the kindness of a dance? One of the slow ones? It's barely dancin' at all...more standin' really." He settled the camera in her hands instead of holding out for an answer...not wanting to ruin the excited look on her face. Planting his hands on his hips once she took it, he posed at the side of the crowd, offering a dangerous sidelong grin.
"Here! I'll be yer first photo!"

She took the picture, knowing he was one of the first people she would paint as a teenager, then turned and took a shot of the bride and groom dancing. Then she went to her mother, who was dancing with Walter, and Kisa who was shyly standing with Josiah by the sliced cake, and--
There were so many pictures to take! Her tail swished happily as she found herself caught up in the scene. She had to get one of these!

Levi snagged a few appetizers while Kitsu drifted, glancing up every so often to see what she was up to. She certainly stood out in a crowd, he appreciated that about her! Blending in was overrated.
Popping a piece of cheese into his mouth, he chewed absently and took a look around. Not a bad party, but he was starting to get bored...and bored for Levi usually spelled trouble. The next time Kitsu edged to his side of the floor, her tail swishing and camera clicking, Levi stepped up beside her...wrapping one arm around the curve of her lower back and guiding the camera up. He pushed his finger gently down on the button before she could object, and took a picture of them both.
"I wanna copy of that one!" He let her retake the camera as the song changed. As a slow tune started, he let his other arm fall, backing up a step and offering her a sweeping and rather theatrical bow.
"Well, lass? Whaddya say?" He offered her one hand, curious (and hopeful) if she'd take it.

She hesitated, glancing at the dance floor for a long moment before taking his hand. One dance would be okay, she thought. If she didn't move around a lot she probably wouldn't trip anyone!
She hoped.

Levi grinned as she took his hand, and stepped in a bit closer. Settling his other hand on the side of her waist, he swayed with the music...still smiling across at the nervous taur. "See? Not so bad!" He didn't know quite what her reservation was, but for once, he was minding his manners. It actually was rather fun!

She flushed, smiling up at him happily. This was a great wedding reception, she decided. And she would paint a picture of it to give to Jade.
She really would have to thank Levi for coming, too. Even if he had ruined her sister's scarf.
