Coalan was getting antsy, not at all the type to sit still. He began to fidget and soon the butterflies that had landed on him flew off and left him. This made him sad but he put on a cheery smile. "I guess patience just isn't one of my virtues." he said as he began to run around in circles.

She laughed, giggling before standing slowly and beginning to chase him as he ran in circles. She bit his tail lightly whenever she got close enough and then eventually pounced on him from behind, amused by this game. She pinned him to the ground and then let him up, running from him.

Coalan narrowed his eyes and began to chase her. He enjoyed the game and pounced her a few times as well, but being careful not to use his whole weight, afraid to hurt her. They ran around for a long time before he realized that it was getting dark. "I think I should return home to my dad." Coalan said before running off. "I hope to see you here tomorrow." were his parting words.

She smiled, returning to her family for the night also. As she ate her dinner that night she told her parents all about the unusual and fun boy she met, and they smiled at her-each one mentally making a note of her adoring tone. She told them about their games and that she was going to return to the lake the next day. Then, she slowly drifted off to sleep, dreaming of butterflies.

Coalan returned to his dad and told him about the pretty female he met. His dad laughed and muttered something about being to young before sending Coalan off to bed.

The next day, Lynnea woke early and walked back to the lake. At first, she fished and got herself some breakfast. She was a good hunter, although she did not always like hunting much. Then, she swam around for a while before going and laying out in the sun as she dozed and took a light nap because she was warm and comfortable.

Coalan woke up and rushed through the breakfast his father provided for him before heading back to the lake. When he got there, he could see that the girl was still their. He crept low onto the ground and within seconds he pounced lightly on Lynnea. "Morning." he said with a smirk on his face.

She flipped him over and pinned him to the ground quickly, "Morning," she said, grinning down at him. Then, she let him up and sat next to him, looking over at him as he got up. "So did you have a good night, Coalan?" she asked, curious and nosy all at the same time. She stretched and tried to work a few kinks out of her muscles as she waited for him to answer.

Coalan nodded, "Yes I do, I seemed to have grown, just over night, so now you won't be able to flip me so easily." It was the truth, Coalan was now teen size and he had let her flip him over. "And I got this cool wing pattern on my back. It reminds me of the butterflies from yesterday. Perhaps you will grow soon too." he said with a smile as he showed off his new coat.

"I hope so, I don't like being so little." she said, sighing petulantly. Then she grinned at him, and nipped his tail lightly. She was a good fighter, smaller size or not. However, he was definitely stronger than she was now, as much as she hated to admit to it. She was getting warm so she jumped back into the lake, enjoying the sun warmed water.

Coalan was soon in after her, his longer legs allowing him to catch up to her quite easily now. He dunked her once or twice, being careful not to keep her under before swimming over to a overhanging rock where he dived into the lake from a higher height than before.

She laughed, giggling as they played in the water. She climbed up on the rock to dive in too, not wanting to be outdone even though she knew he was a better swimmer now. She got a little nervous as she looked down at the lake, but she forced herself to quell those feelings because she hated being outdone. She took a deep breath as she jumped into the water.

Coalan smiled at her determination to keep up with him and made sure she landed safely and resurfaced before once again resuming his play. He was glad that she was safe and decided to be more careful about his stunts so that she did not go and get hurt trying to do them as well. "Well done," he told her.

"You did a better jump," she said, grinning and sulking at the same time. She smiled up at the teen, wishing she were the same level as him so that she could match him better, but she knew she would catch up eventually. She sat down in the water and started to brush some dirt out of her pink fur with her paws because being so dirty was bothering her. When Coalan let his guard down, she rushed over and splashed him.

Coalan smiled and began to wrestle and this is how their days began normally. Soon, he could see that Lynnea was beginning to grow into a teen and was soon his size again and lovelier than ever. He smiled and did not have to control his strength as much now that she was more to his height.
