"I ain't getting pooped on by no nasty birds." The two legger his mother lived with had been to the ocean before, and she had come back with tales of shelled bugs, huge fish, and white birds that pooped, everywhere. "I refuse to be a toilet." He snorted. Nope, no way in hell.

Undine burst out laughing, she couldn’t help it, of all the things she had been expecting that hadn‘t even crossed her mind. Getting herself under control she shook her head. “Seagulls are only around places they can easily get food. As long as we stay away from anyone fishing we should be fine.” She grinned at him, her mood considerably brightened.

He relaxed at her laugh. Crisis avoided. Wait, what crisis? if she wanted to be gloomy he shouldn't care, so long as she perked up around his mother. Mentally he shook his head before nodding. "Good, then i suppose i'd like to see the ocean." He paused, looking at the river. "Whats it like?" He had to ask. The lake, the river, brooks and streams, it was all he had seen of water. The ocean...what was it like? A giant lake?

Undine’s eyes lit up. “It’s wonderful, when you stand on the shore and look out all you can see is water. Its as if the land just ends but its actually under the waves, salt in the air and the distant call of birds.” She sighed happily lost in memories.

"Wait wait wait, you breath in salt? doesn't that hurt?" Salt was little particles...like dirt...that had to hurt. He tried to picture the rest of it. The land ending...water as far out as you can see. He looked at her. "Sounds nice." He admitted. It sounded good, actually it sounded beautiful. He looked to the river. "Yeah...i'd like to see that."

Undine shook herself out of her daze. “The ocean is made of salt water and as the waves break on the shore it throws salt into the air. As long as you don’t drink the water you don’t even notice it.” She thought a moment. “I least I don’t but that might just be a result of growing up ocean side.” She moved closer to him, "Really."

"No, i'm lieing." He rolled his eyes. "Yes really, i'd like to see it. It sounds nice. I think it would be interesting. especially with a guide, such as yourself." He glanced at her as she moved closer. He took a step to the side. "Can i help you with something?" Jeez, why did the proximity bother him? It made him a bit jumpy to have her close like that. Mentally he snorted at himself. Stupid Antirr, chill out.

She rolled her eyes, there was the Antirr she knew. “As a matter of fact there is, you can come with me to say goodbye to Glow.” She hoped that having Antirr there would make saying goodbye easier.

"No way. Nope, no way i'm going to get caught up in that mess." He shook his head, looking at her like she was crazy. "Are you kidding, you'll never get out of there. One thing will lead to another and you'll be stuck here forever." He knew his mother to well. "I never say goodbye. I poof and she know's i've left. She'll figure the same thing. I mean, if you really wanna try and say bye, then sure, i suppose. But i will not be a part of it."

“Didn’t you tell me earlier I shouldn’t leave without saying goodbye to her?” she asked confused by the change in behavior. Was he hoping Glow would keep me here, she wondered to herself. She was now unsure if she should say goodbye or not.

"You SHOULD say goodbye....technically...she'll be upset if you don't...but...well i am not going back there." Nope, nope. No way. "I'd hurry and go, if your gonna. I'll wait for you here." He moved back to the water. Of course he had told her that. What was the matter with him. "Go on, i'll be here waiting for you." He said, watching the river.

Undine blinked at him before tuning in the direction of Glow’s teepee. She walked over to the path that would take her there, then glanced back at Antirr still confused. Shaking her head she headed towards the teepee hoping to find Glow still there.

Antirr closed his eyes and shook his head, confused. What the hell was the matter with him. Ugh, his brain was frazzled. He looked to the river before jumping in. A small yelp escaped, he hadn't expected it to be so cold. Then again...he should have since he had just been in it. Snorting he kicked at the water and rocks in frustration. This wasn't right! He was acting weird! And it was getting annoying. This had to stop. It was just a mare, just a mare...why was his head getting tangled over some pathetic, weak, mare? He snorted and kicked again.
Glow hummed as she moved about the teepee's exterior, decorating the outside to match the inside's flowery appearance. She was vary happy her son had found such a sweet mare as a companion and she hoped he wouldn't do something to scare her away. She sighed softly, thinking about Antirr when he was younger and his tiff's with his father. Shaking her head she went back to decorating before she heard something. Turning she blinked. "Oh, Undine! there you are, i thought you had left already."

Undine blinked coming out of her daze at the sound of Glows voice. “Morning Glow,” she said distractedly looking back in the direction she had come from. Shaking her head she turned her full intention to Glow. “I didn’t want to leave without saying goodbye.” Looking around she smiled.

Glow blinked before smiling. "Why, thank you." She said. "Antirr never says goodbye. I figured you two had already left...." She looked back at the teepee, partly trying to hide forming tears. "I suppose you'll be going back home then? Antirr is already gone, i'm sure. That boy is so adventurous. I was always worring about him as a foal...i still worry..."
