Xander_Telmis Give me a description of the Anachronism in relatively good detail, and a few of the ships that visit regularly, and I could get some designs started. Every 2 months, lets say, we can add a few new ships and crews to the list of characters until we had as much of the guild as possible represented in this. Also, after the preliminary drawings are done, we would need to work on the story. This would not be a quick job, but it is very possible. by "anachronism" and "ships" I assume you mean the city and the airships?

I just call the airships "ships" because what steampunk world is still using normal ships? Also, I am pretty good with technical stuff, but a little less with drawing people. I can do it, but they won't be very good.

This is a splendid idea! Splendid I say! (and not just because I'd like to see myself in comic form)Lily Darling If it does happen, just letting you know I can do the cging (colouring) if someone will email me drawings. I can't draw unless you want stick figures. XD. Milady, could I beg a favour? I've been tasked with finding someone to colour this: link! I've been giving it a bash myself, with not much luck. Would you be willing to give it a go? (if possible). I can pay if need be.

I love the city. It is brilliantly done in that link... I would offer my talents, but I can't consecutively draw well. I did what I concider my current best work, of my character- Ezekeal Crouley, Arcane mechanik; two days ago...then last night, I tried drawing Amossk, and it turned out no where near as awesome. Also, I can't draw backgrounds, which frustrates me. But, ah...
I personally WISH to contribute somehow! I almost think it would be more efficient to not necessarily have one set cast of a couple of members, because I think that could be a little unfair. (Though if I did have to choose some, the Cap'n would be one, for sure...not to suck up. Just fits.)
My idea I propose is a collection of stories and misadventures random people have that at least vaguely trace back to Anachronism. My idea sort of spawns from Watchmen, the pirate comic that it occasionally speaks of. In it, every story traces back, however vaguely, to the black ship. It is an epic frame-story type deal.
So, thats what I'd propose for now. After all, then we don't have a storyline that lasts FOREVER and leaves people out per-se. (I mean, not everyone would be in every edition, but you get the point.)

*nods* Aye, the idea of short-stand-alone-but-still-linking-together tales sounds rather spiffy (and, indeed, would not leave many people out while focussing on but a few members). I find such things tend to boost creativity too (e.g. new situations, not stagnating on the same concepts).
Alas, I wish I were better at the artsy side of things, but my personal style (not to mention ability - or lack therefore) is better suited to doodling. However, I shall most definitely be on the creative/ideas forefront ('tis my fair city, after all). I've been meaning to gradually build up the setting for a while now, perhaps this will give me the incentive to finally do so.

If you don't feel up for that, you would be a great conceptual artist. My bad, I dident see that it wasent yours until it was pointed out to me XD Oh, also. Check out the subthread. I think you'd make a good overseer too (if you are unaware as to what that is, theres a description in the subthread)

I was thinking a set cast of like 10 people would be better because people could follow the story better. We would do guest comics and cameos of everyone though so no one who wants to be in is left out. But I think trying to star everyone would be nice in concept, but chaotic and hard to pull off.

I've been meaning to gradually build up the setting for a while now, perhaps this will give me the incentive to finally do so. Yea, as I said before I think it might be alittle too chaotic to star everyone. I think we could do guest comics staring others and do cameos and guest star appearances. But it might be too chaotic and hard to follow if it where trying to do everyone all the time And yea, you would be a good artist, and if your not confident in your skills enough to be an artist for the actual comic you could be a concept artist (like you give everyone ideas to work off of) and possibly a director. (again, dident know it wasent yours sweatdrop . but you are still fairly good and would make a good conceptual artist :3) What would you like to do though?
