I've been having nightmares more and more lately... not normal ones where you just wake up... no... these are wake up with a cold sweat in a different room that you thought you fell asleep in screaming your lungs out terror.

You may not like this one but when I'm depressed my anger issues come out and I scream at people....that works and I go in my room, crawl into my closet, and than blast my mp3 player up than draw people I want to kill or grab my fake death note and right down peoples names. That ALWAYS works for me. Or sometimes I run into the woods in my backyard and stay there until I'm ready to come back out. But if my anger issues don't come out, which is rare, I just sulk in my room and listen to calming music...

I for one have several ways to take out my depression/anger. Sometimes I run, it gets me tired and then I don't want to do anything. Othertimes, if Im at softball practice, I usually just wait until I get to hit then slam the ball farther than usual. I listen to music, more metal types, like Flyleaf, Evanescence, Papa Roach, or the "softer" stuff, Paramore, or some pop/hip-hop. If I'm especially mad at home, I get my soccer ball and go out and kick the ball as hard as I can at the back of the classroom chalkboard I have. I sometimes hit things, I used to write, and I used to be able to hold it until I could talk to Mindy, but that is hopeless now. A lot of times it just depends on the situation. I've been having trouble keeping my anger under control, so we'll see how that works out for me.

Well for me, I talk to my girl. Everytime I talk to her she cheers me up.

Also, I blast music. I switch between soft/calm/serene to loud/energetic/mosh-worthy songs. The soft calms me down and then loud to help vent.

Personally, I don't like hard music like metal, rap, and hiphop. Hard rock rarely. I'm also a bit religious.
When I'm depressed, I lock myself in my room and listen to gospal songs or my mp3. My mp3 has rock and r&b on it, by the way. Usually, I listen to the songs that have personal meanings to me, such as "Upside Down" and "Keep holding on" (unknown artists for either. Mix CD) I usually end up crying because of the meaning behind those two songs, even when I'm not depressed. It always helps to cry.
I've sleptwalked before when I was little, and haven't had nightmares for years now. Maybe Goddess of Glomps stole all mine. nce, i woke up on the tiolet(pants up) and another time on the floor of our car. I also woke up in what once was our playroom before too.(playroom hads identity issues. First a playroom, then a birdroom when we got older, now a halfwalled room(called an Arizona Room) It was made to be a porch though, and was that for like a year after we got the house)

Meaning behind the two songs pointed out above: The CD was given to me by my best friend, the bestest friend i have ever had. Unfortunately, two years ago she moved from our hometown here in Arizona to Texas because her mom got a better job. I really miss her. In seventh grade, the year before she moved, we were supposed to do a dance together for our dance class. We started it dancing to Kepp Holding on, but realized Upside down had a better beat so rearanged it to go to that song. We were the only ones finished with our dance, but when we went to audition for the show, we both froze up and fogot our moves. They didn't give us a second chance at it. And then some disney songs have meaning because of her too. Reflection from Mulan is meaningful because we were supposed to do a solo for our midterm exam in seventh grade for band, and we got permission to do a duet on it. We made the song so we each had a solo within it, but at the last minute, someone sat on her oboe, so I was left to do it on my own. So yeah. Long drabble over...

About the cutting with a reed: You didn't put a spot for me! Cutting yourself just to see if it would workXD
