I know exactly how they work. A pokemon with a movepool, typing or stats that are unbalancing in gameplay are considered Uber.
Garchomp doesn't fit here since any type of icebeam will destroy him.
Also, Staraptor- NERF!
I know I might be acting a bit nick picky but you also forgot to include abilities on that list as well.
Not to mention friend, no one is debating garchomp being too powerful for the OU tier. Though to counter rebuttal your claim that just any ice beam can 1HKO, I would have to assume a good small amount of UU and NFE pokemon would have trouble accomplishing that feat. I wouldn't deny that they could hurt it badly, but that is not what we were debating.

Edit: Hmm.. I never really have seen a Yachomp in action. Though it does sound devastating. Imagine one with its sand veil ability activated. Now that would be annoying. razz
