Something to eat could be nice. Magnus parted from Haru after a small bow, effectively ending their dance, and glanced over to the picnic. "Ah, food and drink sounds most pleasant. What did you bring with you, Haru?" Magnus could only hope that Haru had brought something alcoholic, but he would not complain if Haru hadn't.
...He would only hope there were grapes in the picnic basket in that case. "Is it alright if I sit here?" Without waiting for much of an answer, the faerie sat on a log nearby the nymph's picnic area.

Although Haru was sad to break from Magnus's grasp he was happy to show off what he brought. "I brought a few sandwiches and some wine." He reached over and pulled out each. "Which would you like first?" Haru nodded and was ready to join him after gathering the food and drink.

Haru did really did know what Magnus wanted! He had brought wine with him. This nymph was quite perseptive... or perhaps he just liked wine too. Either was perfectly fine with the wine-breathing Magnus Vis. "Ah, excellent. May I have a glass of wine and a sandwich?"
He ate all of his meals with wine. It showed an element of sophistication, sure, but it was mostly that Magnus simply loved the alcoholic beverage made from grapes.

"Wonderful idea." Haru popped open the bottle and poured it slowly into two glasses. He handed Magnus the glass and then a sandwich. "I don't know if wine goes with sandwiches, but why not?" Haru smiled and then sat next to Magnus.

"In my opinion," Magnus took a sip, " most everything can go appropriately with wine. It depends on the type of wine, naturally, but it also depends on the food. Sandwiches and wine can go appropriately, since many times at sophisticated parties you can find both of them." Saying Magnus was a wine conssieur may have been a bit of a understatement.
After taking another sip, Magnus set down the glass on the flatest surface he could find before taking a small bite out of the sandwich. He nodded in approval. "This is pretty good, Haru. Good job."

Haru nodded listening to Magus. He knew alot about wine. Haru didn't know anything really, so he listened. It was rare for Haru to listen to another pae so intently, but Magus was pretty interesting.
Haru beamed as he was complimented. "You're welcome. I'm glad you like it." Haru took a sip himself and liked the taste. "Tastes pretty good." He hadn't actually had alcohol before...

On the other hand, Magnus thrived off the spirits. After all, he was the fae of intoxication. While he was most particularly drawn to wine, he would admit to loving any alcoholic spirit. "Mm, naturally. I haven't yet met a wine that I haven't liked in some manner. Of course, some are naturally much better than others. I think you picked one that was particularly sweet."
It was hard to tell if that was a compliment or if he was just saying that to make Haru feel even better about his choice. Either way, Magnus continued his eating. "Do you usually check the Personal Ads, or was it sheer luck that you happened to walk in on the day I had posted an ad of my own?" The question may have sounded a bit random, but Magnus had a reason for asking it.

"Well, that's good then. I haven't tasted much before." Haru smiled and sipped the wine. He ate his sandwich and drank more wine. It made him feel kind of warm.
"Well, I check every once in a while. If I'm in the area. I'm glad I did though." Haru was excited seeing Magnus there. He had been intrigued by him at the ball.

So he didn't check the Personal Ads on a daily basis. Interesting. For a while, Magnus did, but that was mainly because he was working on getting Texas Pete set up and was waiting for a response from that weird Yukio kid. Apparently, it was just a coincidence that he happened to check on the Personals just a bit after Magnus had stopped in to leave up an ad of bull all his own.
"Hm. I probably would have checked it fairly often," the fae chuckled, amused, "but I didn't have to. Your response came fairly quickly." He took another sip from his wine, appearing to be the definition of refined.

Haru smiled, "Yeah, I guess I came at the right time." He hadn't found anyone the least bit interesting until Magnus came into the ads. "I'm glad you answered." Haru took another sip of wine and then looked at Magnus. "More wine?"

"Oh, definitely." Luckily for Magnus, he seemed to have a rather high tolerance for alcohol. It may have just been part of his domain, but it was rather lucky since, after all, he adored the poison. He offered his glass for Haru to pour more wine in, a smooth smirk forming on his face.
"Haru, I've always felt drawn to this place at random times, and I've never quite understood why. Perhaps it's the fae blood with me, but I have to wonder if why I am drawn here is part of what makes this place so lovely. Perhaps I am drawn to the loveliness of this place itself," Magnus's smirk only grew, "or perhaps I am drawn to the lovely people within."

Haru nodded as he listened and drank his wine. "I enjoy it here too. I think it's one of the only places I feel match my beauty." Haru giggled as he was feeling the effects of the wine. He poured himself another glass and looked over at Magnus with a smile.

Magnus caught the strange giggle and quirked a brow. The nymph was already being affected by the alcohol? Weak! Despite that, Magnus chose not to comment and keep sipping at his wine. He was, so far, completely unaffected by the drink. Magnus just seemed to think it tasted good.
"This is a very beautiful place. I wonder why it appeared here, in Loka Nei Forest? Is there something special about this forest in general, or is it just this particular area that is so special and beautiful?" His sister Aysu was rather fond of the place, but he just figured it was because it was where she had first met that Noel of hers.

"I don't know." Haru said he hadn't actually thought about it before. He just knew it was beautiful here and he liked it. "I hear there's an elder that lives nearby, she is the elder of plants, and I think she helps make it as beautiful." He had heard that on one of his wanderings, otherwise Haru didn't really know much about elders or the isle really.

"Is that so?" Magnus didn't pay much attention to the elders either. The only thing he knew was that Texas was considering becoming one, and that would mean he would have to leave for a while. Magnus wasn't too keen on that idea at all. Criofan seemed to be considering it too...
"I would assume that has at least something to do with the beauty of this place. Elders can do things like such as beautify forests. Perhaps that's why my older brother keeps considering becoming an elder." After shrugging, Magnus decided that his last statement was the end of the subject. "You need to build a higher tolerance," suddenly teased Magnus, commenting on Haru's already-tipsy behavior. "We'll have to work most diligently at that."
