When Haanyath's bellow rang out across the water, Emori jumped and Inannath bowled right over, as if the sound had been a physical shove. The little green, once she stood up and saw the source of the noise, thought it was great fun and sent a much smaller roar back to her tough sister. Emori shrugged to T'ka's question about soapsand. She hadn't brought any either. She and Inannath were just here to swim.
Speaking of Inannath, the brightly-colored green was now venturing out to deeper areas of the lake. She came upon a school of small fish, which she chased around until she stumbled into an underwater pothole. She came up sputtering and thrashing, and no longer happy. Help! she squealed to her rider. Emori forgot her shyness and dashed into the water after her bonded. It was only a few steps, but what was shallow enough for a larger dragonet was unsafe for little Inannath. The girl plucked her out of the lake and walked back to shore, soaked and with a number of small tears on her clothes from the hatchling's flailing talons.
She was feeling extremely self-conscious now, and was considering going straight back to the weyrling quarters, but she wanted to make sure Inannath was all right. She knelt on the sand and put the dragonet down to check--and Inannath immediately scampered over to meet Haanyath, as if nothing bad had ever happened. With an inward groan, Emori shook her head. That little beast was unbelievable.

R'dan gave a bit of a start at Haanyath's bellow, then glanced over towards the green and her rider. He held up a bag. "I brought some... Coatlicueth was wanting a bath... You can use some, if you want."
But Yours can't use it all! I need lots to get all pretty and clean. Coatlicueth told her clutchsister. The green turned and nudged her rider with her snout. There's a spot by my wing that itches...
R'dan scooped some of the soapsand out and started to apply it to his green's hide, focusing on the spot she'd mentioned. Coatlicueth crooned with delight as the itchy spot was attacked by the sand. She could care less about what her clutchsisters were doing and was much more interested in getting cleaned.
Too bad you don't have one of the little ones, Mine... I've heard they are very good at getting itchy spots. Maybe you should get one. It would be so nice to have someone reach those spots you can't reach easily... Especially when I get bigger~
