This feeling was... weird. Different. Faced with all of these emotions, Nouă had completely forgotten about his betrothed, about the tribe that had left him well-knowing that he would be unable to fend for himself. He forgot about the one-night-stand with his friend's granddaughter, forgot about the fact that he was lost, forgot, even, that he'd repeatedly made a complete idiot of himself in front of this very same female.
He laughed softly, happily. "I... I would ne-ne-ne- I w-won't pu-ush you a-away ei-either... Ayela..." he replied, laughing a bit giddily at the whole cheesiness of this situation. He'd never in his life been in a situation like this. He'd been close, of course; he and Sarah had acted out the romantic scenes they'd read in books as children, though they would always burst out in gigglefits by the time that the kissing would come in.
But that wasn't happening this time.
Nouă listened to every word that the small female had to say, curling strands of her hair around his pointer finger, gently kissing the top of her head, then her forehead, her nose, and finally, when she pulled herself up on the tips of her hooves, he kissed her full on the lips, going lightheaded as he felt his heart pound loudly in his ears. By the time she returned to her original height, the male's arms were shaking, his baby blue eyes still closed, back-turned ears twitching as a smile came to his face at her words and he hugged her tightly, laughing in amusement at the fact that he'd only just met this beautiful cervitaur and already felt so strongly about her.
Finally opening his pale eyes, he pushed back a few strands of her dark hair, smiling to himself as he leaned down and stole one more soft kiss, feeling his face heat up again as he pulled her close, nuzzling his cheek against her's and sighing softly. "I promise you now, Ayela... you're never going to have to be alone again..." he whispered softly, little tail flicking a bit, eyes falling shut once more.
For once, he hadn't stammered.

Ayela couldn't help but giggle girlishly to herself. Maybe she was a fool for feeling so strongly this early upon meeting him. But.. be a fool she will. It made her think of all the stories of love at first sight she had heard all her life. That made her giggle even more.
When he told her he wouldn't push her away, she thought her heart would burst out of her chest with happiness.
His cute stammering made her smile, and her face was continually reddening as his kisses rained down upon her. Ayela's small smile grew, and she knew there wasn't a chance she wouldn't care for him from now on.
When he kissed her this time, she didn't want to let him go. "I trust you..." was her reply when he told her she would never be alone. She leaned into him slightly, keeping most of her weight to herself. She didn't care about finding the way out now, she had no where to go. She didn't even remember wanting to get out. She felt light-headed and giddy. She couldn't care less if they were lost in the woods forever, just so long as she was near him...
