Sirius glanced at Lily, "Calm down Evans." he said, "I'm not afraid of you, or your boyfriend." he uncrossed his arms and let his left hand hang loose, while he prepared to draw his wand with his right, "Do something, Evans, I'm sure that greasy-haired worm of a boyfriend will come to your rescue."

Remus really didn't want a fight on his hands but what could he do. He put one hand in his back pocket and rock on his heels. "Lily, I bet that Alex knows where he is..." He commented quietly. His voice barely loud enough to hear he closed one eye and watched.
Lily balled her delicate hands into fists and stuck her chin out. "What part of shut up can't your stunted brain compute?" She said faire burning deep in her voice. She stepped towards him to look right up at him only inches away from his stupid face. She hated him so much at that moment, and she only needed the slightest of reasons to go off at him now...

Sirius smirked, though it was mocking, "Do it, Evans. I dare you. Do it." he said, "Stick up for your greasy big-nosed Snively Snape. Attack me for him, it just proves how useless the worm is."
Severus got off the Hogwarts Express and saw Lily in Sirius's face. He drew his wand and ran to Lily's side, "Do you need help Lily?" he sneered. He narrowed his eyes and hid his wand in his sleeve until it was needed.

Moony sighed when he saw Severus approaching but then it became clear that he was only worsening this situation all the more... "Hey! Look lily! We've found him, so now you guys can be on your way, and Sirius and I can be on ours..." He stepped up next to Sirius and placed his hand on the boy's shoulder. "I think I see Prong!" He said lying openly.
Lilly turned her head at the sound of Severus's voice. "No. I was just looking for you..." she said and smiled slightly up at him, her attention no longer on Sirius. She had what she was looking for so there was no need to fight any more. "Where'd you disappear to for so long?" She asked. sweetly. He had left her in a train room all by herself for most of the trip.

Sirius snickered, "I can tell you've got your wand out Snively." he said, "Let's go Moony." he said, turning around and walking toward a carrige, "We'll meet up with Prongs and Wormtail in the Great Hall." he said.
Severus let his wand slip out of his sleeve and stoed it under his robes, "I was talking to a few of my friends from the house." he said. They had been having someconflicts over the people he talked to and didn't want to give out any names.

Moony looked at Lily and bowed slightly then turned and followed Sirius. He didn't want the girl to think that he was so much of a bully as his friend was. "You got the map..." He said was that climbed into the carriage. He wanted to see if anything was going on that might be interesting.
Lily raised one eyebrow and bit her lip. "Who in your house...?" She asked a little worried. He had been falling in the with wrong crowed lately and she really hoped that he would get out before things got any worse. She reached up and fixed his collar gently then walked with him towards the carriage. “Avery?...” She asked Lily really did not like the boy and it was common knowledge that he was an aspiring death eater…

Sirius smirked, "Like always." he drew the parchment from his pocket and drew his wand. He placed the tip on the parchment, "We solemnly swear we are up to no good." he murmered, so he wouldn't be heard and the map used against them, "Look, all the teachers are in the Great Hall already." he said.
Severus frowned, "Yeah. Look Lily, I know you don't like him, but Avery's alright. So's Yaxely." he flinched, suddenly realizing he had said too much. It was well known that both of he boys admired the Dark Lord and that Yaxely had dueled and seriously injured a muggleborn, just for being muggleborn.

"Sev...." She said disappointment thick in her voice. She sighed and brushed her hair our of her face. "Those guys are really bad and you’re a nice and caring person, I'm worried about you..." She helped him up into the carriage after her and sat next to him her shoulders slumped.
Moony examined the map as well he grinned and pointed out that the Dumbledore’s office was empty. He was hoping to play a little prank on the great wizard himself. Remus chukled and leaned back into the seat he closed his eyes and listened to the sounds. He could not imagine ever being anywhere else than here, it was home and he loved it.

Severus sat down, "Lily, it's not like I would ever be a Death Eater. I'm not obsessive about being a pureblood, besides, if I did, I would be betraying our friendship. I couldn't do that." he said. Severus looked at her, from his expression, it was clear he told no lies.
Sirius chuckled, "Dumbledore? He's probably the only one that wouldn't freak. Let's do it, Moony!" he held out his hand for Moony to clasp. His grin grew mischevious, as he had several fireworks and cans of Muggle spray paint in the secret pockets in his robes.

"Promise." He said sitting up straighter and looking into his eyes. "Promise me right now that you won't ever become a death eater." She held out her hand for him to grasp. She needed to know that he wasn't just trying to keep her from freaking out on him. She looked determined to get him to swear on penalty of death, she knew that he had become more and more interested in the dark arts lately and all of his friends besides her were not good people.
Moony grasped the boy’s hand firmly and shook it once before releasing him. “We should do it during the sorting, everyone will be in the great hall so there will e no one to find us…” He tilted his head slight and looked at the carriage in front of them and behind so that he could be sure no on was watching them.

Severus nodded amd grasped her hand, if it wasn't for his extreme self-control, he would be blushing and asking Lily on a date at theat very moment, "I promise Lily. I'll never become a Death Eater. Even if I was placed under the Imperious Curse, I will never become a Death Eater."
Sirius nodded and looked up the road they were almost at the castle, "We make a beak for his office as soon as we get inside." he said. Sirius took a few Everlasting Fireworks out of his robes and handed them to Remus with a grin, "Just light them and they'll start multiplying and whizzing around under magically put out. And these," he pulled out four cans of spray paint, "I thought we'd use them to add our own personal touches to the headmaster portraits." he said, chuckling.

"Sweet!" Remus exclaimed under his breath he grinned a wide toothy grin and slipped the paint can's into his pockets, the fireworks he stuffed into the pants pockets. He was ready for war. As the carriage came to a halt he leapt out and landed squarely on his feet without a moment's hesitation he bolted up the hall and towards the bird stature that lead up to the headmaster's office he took out one firework lighting it and dropping it in the hall as she whispered the password to eh bird thing. It opened the doorway and he slipped inside.
Lily nodded once she was sure he had promised. "Ok. I believe you." She said letting him know that she had the utmost trust in his word. He was her best friend why would he ever lie to her? "An’t you exited?” She said quietly and grinned looking at the school as they got closer to it. She loved it here, and always had, another year of adventure and learning!

Sirius slipped into the stairway after Remus, "Bloody hell you're fast!" he said, catching his breath. Sirius took out a few of the fireworks and lit them as he made his way into the headmaster's office where they multiplied and burst only to reform as several more fireworks. He pulled out a can of spray paint and ran over to the potrait of his ancestor Philleaus. He covered the portrait in black paint, blocking the sleeping former-headmaster from veiw. Anyone who knew Sirius would understand why he did this, so his parents wouldn't know it happened.
Severus smiled, "Yeah, very excited." he said. Severus hadn't noticed that they way his hand was now forming around her's was much more romantic and less friend-like. His self-control was slipping and he didn't even notice.

Lilly laughed and leaned her head against his shoulder as she gazed up at the school. "Are you going to try out for the quiditch team this year?" She asked. She would only do it if she knew that he was, otherwise practice would be no fun at all. Even if she did love to fly nothing was fun without a friend.
Remus shrugged he had long legs was all. The boy set off all the fireworks on hi person and shook the can of spray paint before taking it to an awaiting canvas. He painted a star and a dog paw on one then moved on to decorate another with a lovely cubism motif. Lupin was quite the young artist...

Severus almost kissed the top of Lily's head when he realized what he was doing, "Yeah, I think I might. I don't know if I'll make it, I'm probably not good enough though, flying isn't my strong suit." he said with a shrug.
Sirius set off the rest of the fireworks when he checked the map, "Bloody hell! Filch!" he said, "He's coming down the hall, we've got to run for it Moony!" he said, bolting for the door and changing into a dog as he went.
