He stared at the two hands that had made their way on either side of him, he quickly jumped high into the air, as they met in a clap, as he saw a great energy form as they met. Clearly the hands were quite strong, as they had managed to survive the explosion, indeed he also took notice that his opponent showed no sign of fatigue as well. 'Could he be like myself...?' He thought as he landed while the hands were about a precise distance of 7 feet behind him. He ran toward him as he extended his right harm out,"Noir," he muttered as a small ball of red light formed in his right hand, a great, six ft. long silver sword, with red markings and a design of a golden dragon, shot forth from the depths of the ball, as he grabbed it by it's silver handle, as he focused more on his opponent."Speed increased by 25%" said a computerized voice said in his head as he moved at a greater speed then before.

The ball and chain on his on his right leg rattled as he ran, toward him, trying something different since using projectiles seemed to get neither of them anywhere.

Lightning Law saw this and had respect for the attempt on The Forbidden One's part. He realized that squashing him might be a bit dishonorable, so he decided to test The Forbidden One's swordplay.

With a quick motion, Lightning Law drew a red katana. On the blade of the katana was imprinted the name "Dante". Lightning Law continued his chant, feeling he could fend off The Forsaken One's attacks and stop him in his tracks within minutes. He just had to buy the time.

He stood ready for the charge in a back stance, with his feet perpendicular to each other, holding the katana straight up, and his back leg bearing most of his weight. His body language seemed to say, "Bring it."

Torment continued to watch, still highly interesting in this Lightning Law combatant, but didn't come to any conclusions as how to figure out more without beating him into a bloody pulp first. Or he could simply ask too. Letting out a brief sigh a fine chain whose azure links began to pulsate wrapped itself around his wrist, apparently flowing out from the skin to reconnect with itself. He was half heartedly casting a spell, combining his own magecraft with a dose of the Soul Forge and mana generation of the Phoenix Feather which converted latent energy in the air into mana, even if that energy be heat. It was nothing to interfere with the battle, simply a loophole in the own rules of his existance. Why disallow his Brother of Soul to watch with eyes of his own?

Lightning Law easily blocked both swipes, as his sword was already held in front in case of such a motion, but as he blocked the second slash, Lightning Law unsheathed his second katana, this one being a yellow one that had the name "Klara" on the blade. He attempted to hold the man's sword in place as he prepared to bring the other katana up in a diagonal slash at the neck.

At the last millisecond, realizing killing was forbidden, he aimed the attack lower at the man's ribcage. Lower chance of death then with decapitation, in his logic. It made a more horizontal motion, but he was not open to attack, since the other katana

His wings folded behind him like a bird's would. They appeared like a cape of gold feathers on his back. He was more stable now and much quicker. The weight of the katanas seemed not to matter to him, his body having been conditioned from training. Lightning Law's forearm muscles appeared as iron cords under his skin.

With the red katana "Dante" and the yellow one "Klara", anyone that knew these two blades would easily know who really hid behind the mask of Lightning Law. Anyone who knew how difficult it was to master the dual katana forms would know how deadly Lightning Law could be.

Lightning Law jumped forward twenty feet in inhuman speed, not out of fear or uncertainty, but rather out of both curiousity and necessity. He understood that the man would kill, possibly, had this blow landed. He then turned around and looked his opponent in the eye. The Forbidden One let fall his likely fatal blow. Lightning Law also understood why this was.

Lightning Law said, in his distorted, mechanical voice, "So you have a sense of honor. I respect that." He let a little bow off, and then stood ready for The Forbidden One's next move.

With his two swords, one was held over his head parallel to the ground, while the second was held perpendicular.

"Should we have never met in this arena," He spoke slightly quiet, "We might have been friends."
