sad situation.. i had just bought a pretty pretty double petticoat and a black dress with white lace and white ribbons and stitching.. and as i was walking out of my house to go on my first date with my dearest boyfriend.. my little brother tripped me.. pud muddles.. *tears*

I was checking out a pair of really pretty good angel wings , but they were like... 500 dollars. crying
Ahahaha, but there was this one time, actually, last time i went to the dentist's, i was wearing a pair of black n white stripey tights, and the whole office came in to stare at my legs while the dentist assistant had my mouth full of cleaning products redface
later the same day, i was in the Cafeteria, and the lunch lady looks me up and down and says
"Where'd you get those tights??!!!"
"Ardene's"
"OMG, i've been looking all over for a pair like that- i'm gonna be a witch for halloween!"
Great. I look like a freakin costume reject...
no, not really. ^_^
And my mum bought me a red velvet corset....
from sears!!!
Sears, of all places!
Sheesh, i've been looking all over for this stuff and tere it is, for cheap to!!! sweatdrop

Like at the j-mart where tsu-chan found the most wonderful chii and freya shirts for cosplaying.

A lot of it is really cheap, but sometimes you can find good deals. I get mad at the people who just buy stripey tights for one time use. I was on a search for them one year, and I had gotten to the store just after the last pair had been taken. crying

When I was making my first Loli dress, I had drawn out the shape of the dress on my fabric (which was doubled over so I could cut both the front and back sides at the same time), and I dres out sort of a U shape for the bust which was supposed to be cut out and done with another material (like so http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v347/namida_no_chi/lolitacosplay.jpg). But since the U shape wasn't supposed to be cut out on the back, I was just going to cut across, and then when I separated the two sides, I was gonna cut the front part out. But I wasn't thinking about this when I actually started cutting, and so Iaccidently cut about half of the U shape for the bust on the back as well before I realized I had it all wrong xd and THEN I hadn't taken into consideration that my skirt was going to have to be migger than my petticoat xd so I had to add on to the skirt because there was no room for the petticoat underneath (or rather there was, but the dress wouldn't coase without totally squishing my petticoat)... and so, yeah xd

PearlZenith @Airedine Halloween is one of my favourite times to stock up on tights and stuff like that. A lot of it is really cheap, but sometimes you can find good deals. I get mad at the people who just buy stripey tights for one time use. I was on a search for them one year, and I had gotten to the store just after the last pair had been taken. crying I absolutely agree. Kmart and Walmart are so great around halloween, they can have some of the best accessories for the best prices. my mom is really good at finding crazy fishnets in weird places.

I accidently sew stuff on the wrong way @_@ anding up in an uneven something, but I'm usually too lazy to tear out the stitches because I use straight triple stitch.....
straight triple-stitch=takes forever to tear out

I always tend to wear a lot of lace (I just love lace... lol) and I get myself caught in it. Earrings, lip rings (yeah, I got my lip ring caught on the lace at the bottom of my skirt sweatdrop ), rings, bracelets... *sigh* I'm such a klutz.
And I always end up not putting enough thread on my bobbin and I'm halfway though a skirt and I run out of thread... and my sewing machine is a pain to thread. Ugh.. I need a new one.
