Knowing she couldn't speak without her teeth banging together loud enough to sound like they were breaking, Sari nodded, getting out of the water as quick as her legs would let her.
Leitha glared some when Coral tried to scoop her up, swimming away from the older female. She was capable of swimming on her own, she wanted everyone to know it.

"Looks like we have an independent one." Coral chuckled as she placed Memphis back in the water next to the other baby. "I hope you are warming up." Coral told the other teen.
Memphis swam around once put back down. She was okay with the bigger Naiad caring her. It was less hassle then swimming herself and let's face it she didn't want to hurt her fins.

Sari fumbled some as she wrapped a towel around her body, settling to sit on the beach wrapped in it, watching the others play in the water. "T-thanks." She nodded, rubbing her legs lightly to try and warm them up sooner.
Leitha sighed, looking at Memphis. She didn't like her already because she was boooring. "Nyah." She stuck out her tongue and started to swim to the shore. The silver and blue naiad huffed, not caring if she was causing harm to her body. The pink and yellow girl was interesting.

"You know you can't leave the water." Coral said. She tried to think of something to keep the little ones entertained. She then smiled. "Want to hear a joke?" It was what she loved to do most.
Memphis looked up at Coral and clapped her hands. A joke sounded fun even if she wasn't too sure what one was yet.

Sari blinked, looking at the naiad that was trying to swim out of the water. That was interesting, didn't they know they couldn't leave without that necklace thing?
Leitha looked at Coral like she was a moron, plopping down as close as she possibly could to the shoreline. That was her intended spot anyways. Crossing her arms, she continued to stare at Coral, ask if saying 'get on with it..' with a martyred expression.

"Such an attitude for someone so small." Coral said under her breath. At least the other was open, even if she was a bit on the 'princess' side. "Okay, what do the Kelp say to the seafoam?"
Memphis thought about it for a moment. She then shrugged as she had no idea. Not that she could much say what she thought anyway.

Sari shook her head, looking at Leitha. She could tell this kid would be hell to deal with when she got older. No matter, she wasn’t the one the kid wanted to raise her anyways.
Listening to Coral’s joke, the shetani looked up, curious. “What did the kelp say to the seaweed?”
She didn’t like the start of this joke, which meant that she wouldn’t like the end of it either. Rolling her eyes, Leitha flopped back into the water, staring up at the sky. She would listen, but she wouldn’t like it.

Coral was getting a little upset. She loved the spotlight and others to enjoy her jokes. It looked like the baby wasn't going to. Which hurt her. Still, she went on for Memphis and Sari. "Kelp, Kelp I need someone!"
Memphis laughed even thought she didn't get the joke. She liked the way Coral told it which was enough for her. She was too young to get jokes, but maybe when she was a child she'd get it.

Sari giggled, it was a cute joke. "That's funny!" She exclaimed, clapping as she spoke. "Will you tell another?" The shetani asked happily.
It was exactly as she had expected, booring. Leitha didn't like jokes, even if she didn't get them, apparently. The silver naiad rolled over, flicking her tail fin back and forth, though she stayed in place.

"I knew this day would come a Heckler!" Coral laughed, but didn't go into jokes about the baby because she was a baby after all. She looked to the other teen and nodded. "Okay, Did you know that Heaven is under water?"
Memphis had fun listening even if she didn't fully understand. She swam around happily. It was entertainment with her swim and she liked it.

Sari giggled, listening to Coral, somehow hoping for a baby joke. "No, why's it underwater?" She asked, thinking it was serious even though she knew it wasn't serious.
Leitha rolled over, making bubbles as she exhaled. Words were annoying her and she didn't like them. Boring and annoying words. She didn't like them in the least.

"Because it's full of Sols." Coral then laughed. She could never help laughing at her own jokes. Sols being fish and Souls being dead people in Heaven it was great fun to her.
Memphis clapped. It did sound nice and she liked Coral's laugh. Maybe one day when she was older she would get it.

She giggled, amused at the joke. "That's a good one!" She smiled, clapping for Coral.
Leitha looked out of the side of her eyes, watching something flick from one spot to another in the water. With a small smirk, the blue and silver naiad pawed at it, chasing the thing as if she was a feline or feline like creature.

Coral did her best to bow for the other girl. "Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week...well forever." Little did she know of the island changes that were blowing in the wind.
Memphis giggled as she watched the other toddler swim away. The little mermaid wondered where she was going.

Sari smiled, only to blink, turning around to look at the source of the low growl in the background. "Um.. I think one of those girls belongs to the scary man.." She stated, scared of Phim.
He shook his head, walking forward. "I'll be taking Leitha with me now." Seraphim stated with a blank face, setting down a container in the water. "In you get Daughter."
The angelic waited for the naiad to get into the container before picking it up and walking off.
She looked up from the fish she was chasing, swimming to her 'father.' "Okee." Leitha smiled, compliant with only this angelic. She took a deep breath and jumped into the container. With a small smirk, she waved blankly as she was toted off.
