Jordi nodded in appropriate appreciation of this move, then stepped in her paint, carefully putting footprints on the paper in a pattern. It was perfect!
And she was a complete mess. All in all it was a job well done!

Darsh nodded back in approval. The girl was weird and he wasn't sure what to think of her. He was used to, if not abject adoration, at least a hefty sense of impressing his audience. And she didn't seem impressed by him at all. It made him want to both draw back and also try harder to make her like him. Either way, she'd gotten messy with him and that was always something good. He grinned at her.

She grinned back, then promptly ripped her part of the paper off and headed for Mortar to show him proudly.
She had no clue that she had made him so confused, but then again, Jordi didn't think of adoring people often. Unless it was her Mortar, her Mommy, or her Daddy.
And now, as the troll picked her up gently, complimenting her art, Darsh was completely forgotten. Poor kid.
