With Vent closed out, he waited for WoW to shut down, leaving in its wake a few stray browser windows. Good enough. He didn't bother shutting it down for now on the offchance Rhia planned on leaving soon. He had a couple emails to send out yet, and a few guild applications to go over.
He swiveled his chair back in the direction of the door, and stood to head back downstairs. Seeing someone unexpectedly standing there made him do a double-take, which, in turn, made his balance fail him as he plunked directly back into his seat again.
"Jeezus....!" he hissed, recovering from the start she'd given him, his tail a dark brown bottlebrush where it had fallen across his lap.

'No not quite,' Rhiannon purred, making her move whilst Kendall was on the hop. She pushed his door shut, walked swiftly over and straddled his legs, running her fingers through the fur of his tail, before moving her hand up to carress his face. Her other hand was on the chair keeping her balanced, and she leaned in, bringing her face close to his.
'But I could take you to heaven right now if you wanted.' she murmured, inhaling his scent again, her eyes taking on a strange, almost feral look. Her blood was on fire right now, and she moved the hand from his face to his top, toying with the material as thought she were debating whether to let him take it off, or just rip it right from him.

His gut reaction was that she was kidding, and any minute the laughter would start. The smoky bestial glint in her eyes, however, said otherwise.
Any normal red-blooded teenaged male placed in this situation would have been quietly thanking whatever deity he believed in for dropping such a thing in his lap. Literally.
Ken, however, was not what most would call normal, and his face, if it were even possible seemed to grow paler as she spoke.
Oh man.
Oh jeez...
This was one of those things a lot of guys, himself included, had wished would happen to them -- some pretty girl came in out of nowhere and threw herself at him with no questions asked and no strings attached.
.....so why, then, was he so terrified?
He opened his mouth to say something, anything, and found himself unable to utter anything at all.

'Are you nervous?' she said huskily, right his near his ear. She planted a warm kiss on his cheek, her fingers making lazy circles on his chest.
'You don't have to be, if you're a..' and she smiled, winking. 'Virgin..I don't mind. I'll steer you round the curves.'
Rhiannon tugged him towards her, pressing her breasts against him. She was only barely in control now, her breathing hard, and faster - there was only moments before she started pulling his, and her clothes off.

His bottom jaw trembled from where it hung slightly agape, trying to grasp at enough furiously-flying thoughts to give her an answer.
"I....I uhm..." he stammered, finding himself unable to get out anything more eloquent than that. The terror his mind was filling with was only compounded by his body's instinctive response to the close contact, purring voice, and heated touches. It was an infuriating tug-o-war his brain was playing with him...part of it assuring him things were right where they belonged, and the other part of it telling him that this was very very WRONG and he ought to get out. Now.
"I---I---" he tried again without much more success.
Say something. DO something.
He swallowed hard.
"I......" Panic finally won out over whatever else might be lurking in the weird mix as he ducked, darting suddenly to the side and out from beneath her. "INEEDTOUSETHEBATHROOM" the statement erupted out of his mouth in one jumbled word, much louder than it needed to be, as he bolted for the door.

'You're so cute,' Rhiannon whispered throatily, nuzzling into his neck. She could smell the difference now, despite his stammering, his body was becoming aroused...
And then he pushed out from under her, wiggling out of her grasp and yelling something incomprehensible, she managed to fish the word 'bathroom' from the tail end of the run on sentence.
'Okaaaay.' she murmured, as she stood, looking around his bedroom as she adjusted her top's strap which had fallen again. She moved over to his bed, sitting on and it, and giving a bit of a bounce as she waited for Kendall to return..

Letting himself into the hallway was sweet, blessed, relief. The claustrophobic panic that had been clutching at him loosened as he put distance between himself and Rhi.
He did not stop moving, however, until he'd reached the hallway bathroom, yanking the door closed behind him, and twisting the lock into place. He leaned heavily against it for a moment, breathing thickly, a cold sweat on his brow.
He half-expected to hear her directly on the other side, tapping on the door, and asking him sweetly to let her in in that husky tone that had whispered in his ear a moment ago.
....and then what would he do? He didn't know. So for the moment he settled for the option of 'hide here and hope she would be gone when he came out'.
Pushing off of the door, he crossed the bathroom to the sink, leaning heavily on it as he eyed his reflection. He was a mess....this was the look of a man who'd just seen a ******** ghost, not the look of a guy who'd just been offered a check-in for his V-card.
What....the hell was wrong with him?

Rhiannon twisted on the bed, catching sight of the night sky through Kendall's window. She moved to the window, exhaling on the glass as she saw that a wind had gotten up and swept the clouds away. The full moon glowed brightly, and she threw her head back, howling. The lunar light reached deep inside, flipping that little switch that started her change but she fought with it, pushing it down until she had left the house.
With the window opened she perched on the sill, looking back over her shoulder for a moment. 'Sorry Kendall..' she murmured, before jumping out, and landing on all fours on the ground before she ran away. The moon called.

Maybe he was overreacting....
Okay he was DEFINITELY overreacting. That was a given.
She wasn't some sort of monster, she was just a girl. Granted, a girl who'd been acting much different than she had when he'd talked to her in the clinic earlier. And she had come in out of nowhere and tried, in a way that was more than a little creepy, to get into his pants but...
....but was that really a reason to run away and hide? In the BATHROOM??
He muttered a curse under his breath, clutching his head in his hands. As if he needed any further proof, he was clearly hopeless.
Maybe he would go back out there, he told himself. And at least tell her to go home or--
A shrill howl tore down the hallway and met his ears. It made him recoil, tripping over the edge of the empty tub as he did so and landing in it sideways as he stared fixatedly at the closed door.
.....it would be a long, long time before he moved from that spot.
