Last year our drum break was 190 then 170...it sucked (going that fast but the song was cool Blue Rondo Ala Turk). Dumest show themes would be this one I saw about trains and this other one called Threshold. eek

This year's theme was black and gold metamorphosis, kind of a good triumphs evil (gold=good black=evil)

Next year our director wants to do a Rock and roll Pirate show. When I first heard that I was like "Hell, we might as well do a space cowboy show seeing how it's the only thing cheesier"

We had to play five different variations on Pachabel's Canon last year, with voice overs talking about DNA and the Fibonacci sequence (at least I think that's what it was.) It's okay, though, because the judges seemed to like it. smile

I've never seen any dumb shows from our school...
One year, before I was in high school, they did some kinda break dancing thing, though...it was cool.
We started this year's show at 180 and we had a drum break where we did side back side front (or back side front side from the counting...) at 220...it was fun. >.<

We did the Incredibles this year, and it was amazing! The music is really good and it was a lot of fun to do. Beleive me, it's an awesome show. You will love it. Especially if you add cool dances to the pauses in marching.

I never marched it, but on my director's wall, he keeps a list of all the shows he ever wrote, and one of his first ones was 'russian holiday' and i saw the drill work, it was bad.

We did the incredibles and it was really difficult. We had to march at 200 and there were alot of straight lines.

We did that, "Five, a Journey Through the Elements". It was Rad! ((Metal, Water, Earth, Wind, Fire!))

This year our theme is "Dance" because our gaurd is amazing and our gaurd instructor is famous or something.

But at state we tied with this one band who always does really cheesy lame shows. Their theme was "Newspaper" and they had this giant mechanical snoopy come out from a newspaper. Well, my choir director was there and she decided to be obnoxious, so when the snoopy came up again, she started screaming, "Yay, Snoopy!" These people always do really lame shows that are so predictable...they did Trading Spaces last year...

I saw a Band that had the Incridables as their show, I didn't get to see it...we were all having band orgi's on the bus....it was the first comp of the year and they wanted us to rest before Finals....I heard it was good...But yes, Band directors can come up with really gay idea's for a show....
p.s. I love that username Mello-phony!!!!
