LoLZ. Cus our Shadow preist doing 3.1k DPS and number 7 in 25mans is really sucky.. So what you're saying is because your two priests weren't on top means that all priests suck? How ignorant of you. As I've previously stated, a huge part of how a player of any class performs come from how skilled said player is. I've seen many players who are still in blues completely outclass fully epic'd out players of the same class purely because they know their class much more intimately than the other person. Sure, gear plays a big part, but it isn't everything. Don't judge a class solely on the results of a single raid.

honey` mustard I don't see why people are saying that priests don't do as well in PvE. One of the top DPSers in my guild is a shadow priest and regularly approaches 4k dps. =O What it comes down to is that any class can be stellar so long as there is a stellar player behind it. Give a pewpew, endgame-geared character to a shitty player and the character will perform shitty as well. I know! I bet a druid can even top dps if they know how to play there chacter right

I dunno. I'm always number 1 or 2 without even trying or in my max spellpower gear... Holy priests are good healers. Sure we're not the one with the best mana efficiency, but life is good. In my server (Uldum) according to wow-heroes last time I check, out of the top 7 character (of which all are healers), 6 are priests, 4 holy, 2 disc, which tells me that priests are easy to gear too. Well, at least for me, I'm in that top 7 lol

Any idiot who can read their talents and put their attacks in the right order can and most likely will out dps many other classes. I've been seeing a lot less holy priests these days and I myself just went shadow after a long time being holy. With a shadow priests mana and healing capabilities, it's just plain stupid to say a priest is worthless in WotLK. If a anything, blizz made us better.

I've tried a few times to make a priest toon because healing is one thing that I haven't really done that much of but I like doing it. However, I can never seem to get a priest past level 10 or 12 before I get frustrated trying to level them up. You guys are much better than I am with priests, so any hints on how level one to 80 without screaming at my monitor all the time? I don't really know any (reliable) people to partner up with, which kinda sucks. >_<

D: I kinda gave up with weapon for now (dagger with hit ftl neutral ), just collecting the other ilvl 226 items, so while the other people fight over mace, I got me the cape, just last week. I figured that once Ulduar comes, more weapon's gonna be available or people will lose interest with the torch smile My guild is kinda... Not moving with progression. The only thing we need is 3D sarth, but our so called "raiders" been disappearing. Only to miraculously come back when ulduar comes live, I bet. neutral

Healing meters mean absolutely nothing. They should only be used to see if someone isn't doing their job correctly, especially if there are efficiency issues.
Meters fail to take mitigated damage into account, so if you are healing as discipline, you will not see high numbers on the meters even if you are doing your part. Being able to mitigate a lot of damage helps quite a bit on fights like Loatheb.
I still get raid positions, and will be sticking with my priest regardless of how bad things are for us right now.

bc time they were op with their coh, also for part way in wotlk too. dramallama so coh was nerfed lolol, disci pvp for bc time was very op dude.
Right now priests are very good for healing in wrath are u kidding me? some people want disci for healing things like sarth or any bosses the tanks take particularly big bursts. As for holy we do fine on meters imo, just lawl druids s**t on every healers lols..if they are good that is.
I am progressing fine on my priest i have the immortal and such done on her and i am happy with how they are... the only thing that makes me frown is the terribad players playing them.
oh and as for lvling, i lvled fine as a priest..i hit 80 in less than a week or a week.. sweatdrop i also took a week off work when it was released. from 70 that is..

MOVE ALONG. you do kno there are situations u cant just stick a rest sham and druid right? lolol. especially for upcoming ulduar content. and getting 4th on meter isn't bad imo. as for spriest getting 3.1k dps that is pretty bad...but i don't think its the class...but the player LOL...i usually see higher in guilds i've been in from spriests trust me...ur spriest is just bad not the priest class being bad..at minimum should be 4k(only saying bad cause considering the amount of time of farming wotlk content everyone had..they should be pushing higher by now.)
