I used to be really into Ga'hoole, and was simultaniously into Warrior Cats. there are 3 series, I think but take the first one.

Warrior cats doesn't seem that great. Right now im starting to read Prince Caspian of the Chronicles of Narnia.

Chronicles of Narnia are great. :3
One thing I would recommend if you liked Howl's is the Young Wizard series. Diane Duane has often been compared to Diana Wynne Jones in the way she writes. I really love both authors.

It all depends on what you like. I read ALOT of fantacy, and mysteries. My personal reference whould be 'The Chronicles of Narnia' by C.S. Lewis, 'Warriors' by Erin hunter (you should like those since youlike the ones with the owls), and 'Artimis Fowl' by Eoin Colfler. those are some of the best that I've ever read. But I alos like Shannon Hale's books. If there is a specific thing you want to have in your book, then pm me, and I'll see if I can find something. 'The Enchanted Forest Chronicles' and the other books by that same author (can't remember names off the top of my head) are VERY good. Expecially the Magician one and it's sequal. If you want Dragons, then read Eragon, and it's others in the series. I LOVED those. Also, if it's a mystery yyou want then you should read 'The Ghost in teh Takato Inn' Can't remamber the author, but it and the others in the series and very good. 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' are extremely satisfying too. Some of the best. But pm me for a specific preference.
I'd also like any advice on books that you have read and liked. I need new series. Sorry about the longness above. I could talk for hours about books lol.
