He purred lightly, slightly sheepish. He was nice? She wanted him to stay? Well, that was nice. It helped ease the sadness at least, even if he couldn't stay.
"I'll keep talking like that, then. So at least I'll sound like a Firekin, even if I don't look like one." He stood and faced her, smiling as her posture changed, became more confident.
"A deal."
He blinked. "I'd best get home, then, I suppose. Brother might be worried. Maybe we'll meet again someday, Zii'moto." He paused and smiled. "And I won't forget our promise."

She nodded to Udd... the boy she was rather proud to be friends with. She had met a few other boys other than her siblings and they were mean, but this boy was sweet and kind. Perhaps it was the lack of firekin colors that dulled him out, perhaps that was why Zii didn't have the fury either. Perhaps that was how they were similar.
"Yes, I should get back too.. and you don't want your brother worried!" She said, smiling and giving him a small bow in farewell. "It was great meeting you Udd. I won't ever forget our vow! Ever!" She said, standing up and giving a small circle in step. "Never ever will I forget!" She added, before bounding back home.
