Howdy do! I'm Fefnir. I've never done straight-up forum RPing, but have participated for two years in RPing guilds. Being a crew member, I feel like I need to be an example of top-notch roleplaying skill, and thus have joined this guild as a way to polish my skills.
I'm no slouch, though! I have my fair share of skills that I would love to pass to anyone willing to listen.

Wow, lots of new members recently. Do any of you have a favorite way you like to find guilds? (Hint: I'm asking how you like advertisements to be presented.)

My favorite? Signatures. A good RPer with a link in their signature can do wonders to attract members. I know I found several guilds that I enjoy because of a good recommendation from a skilled roleplayer.

I RP in a guild called 'The Sereitei'. It's a fairly large guild set in the Bleach universe. I also own a Bleach guild called 'Bleach: Stars in the Sky'. Both are semi-literate to literate, and as a captain/crew member, I get at least a little respect, even from the enemy. Not to mention, I've got a bit of a reputation for having the most hard to fight skill set around. If you have a picture that you want me to link here, I'd be more than happy to add it! =3

It really does, doesn't it? Guilds are almost ideal for RPing because you don't have to worry about things like outside interference as much, plus its layout with the subforums makes multiple locations a snap to do.

I have noticed the use of subforums to the extent that there are just too many and the guild is too spread out. Use of subs like that works best if there is already a Barton Town RP thread, that is just too busy for anyone to keep up.

I suppose that's a difference of opinion. In the guilds I've participated in, the subforum is a luxury. It seperates the 13 squads, earth, crew forum, storage, OOC, and events. One solitary thread can't effectively describe the sheer size of these IC places, so being spread out works.

'Rika' practically fell through the roof then sat up with a groan amongst the remains of the roof where she fell and rubbed her head before standing up and dusting herself off ignoring any stares she got and folded the pair of green wings neatly on her back and untied her hair letting it fall over them and her shoulders "Hey, I'm darkmonkey07 usually called Dark for short, I have lots of experience at roleplaying, both on and off Gaia" she brushed a little dust off her shoulder and glanced up at the gaping hole in the room "I gladly play any gender and race, But I like playing as Rika the draconian girl who's inexperienced at flying and often crashes into whatever is under her also I hardly ever post this much, It's just for this
