"Oh no need for formalities, Lesedi," he chuckled. "You'll make me feel old calling me 'sir.' Just Tamba will be fine. Right!"
He straightened himself up a bit and looked around doing a head count. Just little things that might have been strange to witness but made him feel better and in control again. It appeared as though he was making efforts to avoid looking in Tipwa's direction. That was a whole other can of worms ready to burst.
"Would I be right in thinking you've been travelling a while? And with the youngsters in tow as well, I'll be guessing you need some rest. If you want to follow me in, I'll show you around. Leboya, you might know most of this already," he smiled at the bright female. "We're a bit bigger now, so there'll be lots of new faces to meet."
He gave a polite nod to both the females and then began walking toward the beach.

Leboya chuckled. And Leboya having grandchildren was not a reason to feel old? Heaven forbid it being from her second litter at that. Goodness, how would HER mother have felt about it?
"Well, that's quite good to be hearing." Leboya replied with a light chuckle, before doing a headcount of the cubs underpaw of herself and her daughter. Well, nobody had utterly ran off during that. That was definitely a good thing, to say the least.
Now....

....

"Well, it would be best if we got settled in sooner, if only to rest the young-paws. But after that, we must talk some more. It's been quite some time."
Too long, really. How had her elder children grown since she'd last seen them?

"Ah, yes S--... Tamba..."
It still felt so strange, this welcoming thing. Lesedi couldn't wrap her head around it internally-- but for the sake of her children, of whom she had yet again glanced down at upon the mentioning of tired young paws. She herself was a little worn out too, for various reasons, but they always came first.
Now...
"I think... that would be wise for us all right now."
She would follow like a proper subordinate lion in the prideleader's (... that's what he was, right?) footsteps, and keep her mouth shut from them on. All she needed was a place to rest the little ones, and maybe rest herself, and... try to process the fact that they'd all just been absorbed into such a strange group without any hesitation.
No doubt her mother would be catching up or hours with 'Tamba' too in the meanwhile.

As Tamba led the weary group in, Tipwa was always there, whether it be teetering on his mind and nerves, or literally just within view. He kept glancing toward the sky and then the horizon as the sea came into sight.
Were those dark clouds looming?
