Twana giggles, delighted by her brothers reaction and by the waters feeling on her paw. She dives in where she stands and is at first startled by the change in temperature but, soon settles. Where she had jumped in the water hides all her legs and is up nearly to her chin. She flounders a second gaining a firm stance then wades over to Damu.
When close enough she pummels him with a bucket tonne of water kicked from her back legs. [Having found tat they were better at this.]

Damu gave throew back his head as he sucessfully evaded her spray of water. That was, until it hit him in the face. He's grin turned to a small frown. He stopped with an idea.
With his four paws in the water, he drawted digging at the water, shooting a spay of water behind him at his sister. He didn't know if the water his her or not, but he would try, at least.

Twana couldn't avoid what was coming at her. It appeared as a small tidal [I don't think that's the right spelling o-O;] wave. She was immediately drenched and gave a fake but, threatening and rather rusty growl. Her ears pinned back as she avoided get water inside. "That's not fair!" Her voice squeaked and she moves in position to copy his move and roll along with the unfair way.

A chuckle escaped Damu's throat as he looked back at his sister, only to get a face full of water from the lake. Damu gave a gasp and started to dash away from the water, post haste. It was fun, but strangely cold!
Once a few feet away from the lake, he stopped and shook the water from his white fur, red and golden colored fur. He gave a yawn, still having not slept yet. "Should we head back, 'Twan?" he questioned from afar.

Twana giggles at her younger brother. "I think we might want to." She pondered, thinking about what their Mom might say if she found out about them wandering during the night. Twana knew not of any 'dangers' that might be out there and didn't know how mad Moma might get. They were all 'what if' situations anyway. "Let's head back." She says as she drags her soggy self from the lake. Reaching shore she gets herself balanced and shakes herself drenching the grass, trees and other things nearby and leaving herself poofy.

Damu gave another quite laugh, being sprayed with some of the water from Twana's coat. He started walking back to were their parents and siblings were sleeping, out of the small meadow and away from the lake. Upon spotting his multi-colored family he stopped, looking over them. He gave a soft smile, glad for his family, even though the long travel hurt his feet and stole his sleep.
His gaze traveled over to Twana.

She sits, the walk was longer than she had imagined but, ended before dawn and her parents time to awaken. Her rump felt nice against the ground and the rest was much loved. "It was a nice night." She felt very close to her brother at this exact moment. Her eyes went to his gaze that she noticed was on her. She'd treasure this little guy for as long as she could.
