Harmony watched him head over to her and smiled at him. She was happy he decided to join her. "I don't actually." She looked at him for a moment, then turned her head a bit to hide a slight blush she was sure had formed on her cheeks. She had to know if he was the same. "Do you have somebody special?"
Her tail wrapped around her hind leg as she looked at him. She now got a full view of his face and she felt her heart flutter. He was very handsome...suave...his mustache and goatee giving him an air of mystery. She felt she liked that. His eyes...so deep a blue she could get lost in them. Though she quickly snapped herself out of it. Unfortunatly her blush increased though.

Doc Noticed the blush form across her cheeks and Smiled. he couldn't help that he had that affect on women.
"naw, nobody special. Infact i kinda came here to... whell to get away from someone special. " his eyes saddend greatly...and kinda misted over as he looked away...
"Ah am surprized that you have no one waiting for you mah dear."

Harmony looked over at John Henry, frowning softly as his eyes grew sad. She was not sure what to say. Instead, she sat there in quiet for a moment.
"It's not surprising really. I've no wings so most look at me as a monsterousity."

"if there is a monster heya," he looked down "it is me." he was serious now. if there was a time to tell her, he figured now was it...

She blushed when he called her darling, smiling warmly. "Um..thank you very much...that's really sweet..." She wasn't used to this, so it made her a tad shy. Her ears twitched as he spoke of himself as a monster. She wanted to disagree...but he seemed he wanted to say something more to her.

( sweatdrop i've been wanting to go into his past for a while)
"ah think ah should bring up my past, because it is essential for you to really know who ah am... Ah like you, but, ah don't want to go any further till you know... What ah am." His eyes grew sad, and glazed over..
" ah am a murderer... at least... that's what they call me. Ah want you to know i only killed in self defense. " he added hastily " but still, ah am a killer." he looked her in the eyes this time... full on. "Ah was in love once, long ago, Her name was Kate. She is still out there somewhere... but we are... not the same anymore." His eyes saddened again. " you have asked me about mah... cough... I died of Tuburculosis, we called it the consumption... and ah was sentenced to hell for my various 'crimes' and let's just say Ah made enough of an impression on the Deval that he let me out. Howevah, he neglected to tell me once Ah made the deal, that it would be in... This Delightful form" he added the last bit sarcastically, and Smirked.
"so do you still want to talk to me?" He looked at her in ernist.

Harmony listened intently as he told her of his past, what he had done, and how he had gotten to this place in this body. She watched him, noting how he reacted to each thing he told her. Her ears flattened to her head when she heard mention of hell and the devil, but she relaxed again rather quickly.
For a few minutes she remained quiet. Then she heard him ask her that question. She almost laughed, but did not. He didn't need to ask her that. She liked him as well. Most likely just as much as he liked her. In response to his question she moved closer and nuzzled her cheek against his gently.
"Of course I do."

She sat up and looked him in the eyes. A smile crossed her mouth as she spoke. "Because though we may have done horrid things in the past, no matter what it was. Nobody should be judged by that forever. The past is the past."
"Who I see before me is a handsome, suave male that has swept me off my paws." She gently nuzzled his cheek again as a slight blush grew across her face. She had meant everything she'd said. She only hoped he'd believe her.

He rested his chin on her head and sighed... then pulled her away slowly.
"ah do not think we should give into temptations yet love. Ah don't know that much about you, and you don't know much about me." Doc chuckled and looked in her eyes... "ah think you understand"
He smiled. She seemed strong enough for him, but was she independent?
He needed to know if he left again, that she could be like Kate and strive long after he was gone. He didn't know if the devil would ever decide to... rescind the deal, and he wanted to know that she could go on if that ever happened.
"Tell me about you self, where you come from, your family, how you got here... ah want to know EVERYTHING!"
He looked at her intensely, his blue eyes looking her over, eager to hear her tale. He knew he would know by the end of it, if he would be right for her.

She nodded softly and smiled. "I understand." With a soft sigh she sat back and looked up at the ceiling as the memories filled her mind.
"When I was young, I lived in a wonderful family of several siblings and two loving parents. I was taught to enjoy and love everything about nature. To be a sweet Kitzune all around." Her eyes sparkled. "My mother would take me out to learn the names of different plants and trees. My father taught me to live without wings happily. You see..." She looked at him. "..my entire family had big glorious wings that could carry them high in the sky. I felt bad being permanently grounded. But I did learn to love the uniquness about it. Then...that horrible day happened..."
She stopped and took a deep breath, blinking back wetness from her eyes. "Dark soldier Akuma's came to our lands and destroyed everything. I saw my siblings slaughtered before my eyes. My parents forced me to run. But I foolishly looked back to see them...be-headed...." She bit her lip hard, fighting tears. The memory was all too real to her even now, several years later.
"I wandered alone in denial for a very long time. But eventually came to accept it. I taught myself to hunt and to build my own shelters at night. It was hard, but I survived." She looked at him and held her head high. "I do not fear death. And I refuse to let sorrow cripple me."

Doc blinked away tears but one escaped anyway"hunneh ah am so sorry." he rested his head upon hers, hoping his nearness would comfort her. "you know, not all akuma's are bad... One of my best friends happens to be one, perhaps someday you can meet her."
He hoped that would cheer her up. "when ah was a human, Ah was quite the charmer. I was born in the south, hence the accent. My father was a doctor, and alas Ah became one as well. Well a dentist really. Ah was good at it too. Until Ah caught Tuberculosis. You see Tuberculosis was catching back then... so Ah could no longer practice. Ah picked up Gambling to...supplement... mah income. That's how Ah met Kate. She was a hell o' a woman if Ah may say. We went west to help me keep mah heath...and somewhere along the line, Ah cannot exactly recaull at the moment, Ah met that no good scoundrel Wyatt. He was mah best friend. If there was moneh to be hayad, we went for it."
He smiled at this last comment. The Light back in his eyes. It was obvious, he knew, that Harmony would see, and probably question. But there were things a gentleman should Never discuss with a lady. If she became his wife, then maybe... but never to a lady.

When she felt his head on hers, she nuzzled closer enjoying him being close. She was thankful he had. She never told anybody her past before, and telling him made her feel...happy. "I know. I don't blame all Akuma for what those few did...I'd love to meet her someday..."
She listened as he spoke to her again, staying close to him. She enjoyed listening and learning more about him. He'd been a human before. That in itself amazed her. She pulled back a little and looked at him, noting the glint in his eyes. It did spark curiousity in her.
"Your eyes seem happy. May I ask the story behind them?" She smiled at him and rested her chin on her paws, prepared to listen.

He laughed loudly, his voice booming... "Ah don't think that's something to discuss with a lady of ... Your caliber." his eyes twinkled again. "We just cawsed a touch of trouble that's all."
" we were in a little town and wyatt and his brothas got in a bit of a tussle. needless to say, It was a fun time to be hayad."
He looked at her serioudly again, "Maybe someday you can meet Ug, she's defiantly something different. Her kiddo's are great too. "

She looked at him, smiling again at the thought. The fun he must've had...she wished she could've had friends like he did. To go and horse play, and just goof around with. She'd never had any close friends who were anything like that.
"It sounds like you had a lot of fun with them..." Her eyes grew distant for a moment as she drifted into thought, then she sat up as a thought came to her mind. She looked at him, curious.
"Why don't you and I go out and do something fun?" She was getting noticably fidgety staying in one place for so long. She had too much energy.
