Soleil nodded while growing silent again. After a couple of seconds she nodded once again. "I'll help you search this territory. It sounds like you need all the help you can get." She said smiling.
Lloyd grinned as the beta offered to help. "Thank you very much. It'll be quite helpful if you search with us." He said bowing his head. He turned smiling to Ama but his smile faltered when he saw her looking at him. "What's wrong?" He asked concerned.

Snapping out of her thoughts. Ama smiled at the older helix. "Nothing. Just thinking. I was staring into space but I guess you were blocking that space." Laughing lightly at her little joke Ama turned her warm gaze to Soleil. How she had ever questioned the betas intentions were beyond her. Now all she felt was gratitude and warmth for the female. "Thank you. This means so much to me. Really it does. Since you know the territory better this will be a big help." Grinning brighter Ama realized she was closer to her goal. This would be great!

Lloyd tilted his head at Ama thinking she was leaving something out. "Okay Ama. Sorry I was in that space." He said smiling. He stood up stretching. "Well I think I'm ready to start up again." He said, "That little rest did me good."
Soliel nodded at Ama with a smile. "I'm glad I can help." She said, "I don't get to do that often." She watched Lloyd as he stretched. "If you say so old man. Just tell us when you need to rest." She said teasing him slightly about his age, "Shall we continue in the direction you were heading?"

Standing up along with Lloyd Ama was happy to be on their way again. The rest was nice but she wished that they could move on and maybe find the others. Hearing what Soliel said Ama laughted lightly instead of snapping like last time. Soliel was a friend, one to be trusted. "Yes please!" Almost like a pup she gave a little jump and headed in the direction pausing once to look back. "I hope you two are following me or will take the lead soon. I have no clue where I'm headed."

Soliel smiled at Ama with a chuckle. "Alright." She said wagging her tail, "I'll let you lead for a bit before taking the lead. I think I know the area better than the two of you."
Lloyd was already starting to continue walking in the direction they were going in. "Sounds like a plan Soliel." He said looking to Ama and pausing, "Ladies first." He bowed slightly putting out one of his front paws in a 'after you' gesture.

Giggling Ama nodded at Soliel. "I'd hope you know the territory better then myself, seeing as you live here." Noticing Lloyd's gesture only made her laugh more. "You're such a gentleman Lloyd. I only wish all males were as polite and mannerly as you." Though she hadn't met all males Ama knew of a few that didn't have the best manners in the world. Ferey would have been proud of the way the older male was acting. 'He's acting in a way befitting of My Lady.' She could hear his voice still ringing in her ears.

Soliel smiled at Lloyd and walked ahead of him. "So polite Lloyd." She said laughing with Ama, "Yes it'd be quite a shame if I didn't know my own home." She glanced around for a second before veering off to the left a bit. "This way.... I think there's a gathering area up ahead."
Lloyd smiled at Ama. "All males should treat ladies like this. It's the proper thing to do." He said chuckling at Soliel, "Yes yes Soliel. Well I hope you're remembering correctly. Hate to find out we went in the wrong direction."

Nodding her head Ama followed. She didn't mind letting Soliel take the lead she was older and of higher rank. If Ferey was here he'd have a tantrum though. Thinking about the little fox made Ama's ears twitch. She wished he had come with them. He would have made things more entertaining. Picking on him was her favorite pass time. "Proper Lloyd? The way you act is over proper. Most males treat females like they'd treat males. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing."

Lloyd looked at Ama for a second and chuckled. "I can't help it. It was how I was raised. Ladies are supposed to be treated nicely and taken care of." He said. He looked at Soliel when she laughed and sighed while smiling.
Soliel looked back at Ama and Lloyd and nodded. "She is right Lloyd. You are way too polite. I mean you take it to a whole other level." She said laughing, "But it's not a bad thing. It's nice to be treated like that sometimes." She looked back forward and smiled. "Here we are. The gathering clearing." She said pointed to the large clearing. It wasn't a perfect circle, in fact it looks like a kid had attempted to draw a circle and failed miserably.

"Well Lloyd I've been treated exceptionally with all the kindness a lady should recieve sometimes it can be taken a little too far. Thankfully you use it in a perfect amount and if you get any more polite I'm afraid I'm doing to have to tackle you!" Laughing Ama's ears flicked when she heard they had finally made it to the clearing. It was a nice place, big but not huge. Breaking into the clearing Ama sniffed around all the nooks and crannies nearest to her. Not catching the whiff of any family members she continued on almost completely tuning out the other two in her diligence.

Lloyd walked into the clearing and watched Ama as she walked around it. "Well I'll have to make sure I don't overstep that bounds. I'm afraid that I'll get hurt if you tackle me." He said smiling, "Looks pretty empty for a gathering area."
Soliel stepped into the clearing going straight for the center. "Smell anyone familiar?" She asked Ama. She turned to Lloyd and nodded. "Yeah it is pretty empty right now. I wonder why?"

"I don't smell my sisters but something does smell familiar.." Ama said sniffing a tree nearest to her. "I might recognize it but it smells off. Like somethings different or wrong." It smelled like Starla but the female helix hadn't smelled like this the last time she had spent time in the East. The smell triggered an instinct inside her that Ama couldn't explain. It was a mix of protectiveness, jealousy, love, compassion and urgency. At this Ama shook her head slightly and turned to her companions. "It smells like another helix."
Ama didn't know it but she was completely correct. Starla in all her moodiness was storming around the area muttering under her breath. "Stupid idiotic suspicious helixes and their stupid letting my guard down!" Feeling strangely violent Starla lashed out at a small plant and snapped its stem. Feeling satisfied at this small bit of destruction Starla smirked and continued toward the gathering clearing in a manner that some might mistake for stomping but Starla would be quick to correct the poor helix. She doesn't stomp, she's a stealthy helix and stealthy helixes don't stomp!

Lloyd sat down and tilted his head at Ama. "Well who does it seem to smell like?" He asked, "Maybe something about that helix has changed. I think that can happen." He looked over at Soliel and shrugged.
Soliel gave Lloyd a questioning look and received the shrug. Maybe it was possible that a person's scent could change. It seemed odd though. She looked back at Ama and tilted her head. She thought she heard something stomping around out in the woods. "Well Ama do you want to stay here for a moment and rest? We can also see if anyone shows up."

"I think it smells like my friend........" As Ama turned around she caught sight of said female making her way through the brush, the blue female muttering to herself all the while and she appeared to not notice the company she had near her. "Starla! I thought I smelled your scent." Smiling Ama trotted over to her friend who finally seemed to notice the other lives in the clearing.
Well she hadn't expected to see Ama here that was for sure. Though it wasn't unusual to find helixes meeting in the clearing it certainly was unusual for Starla to meet someone she actually knew in the area. Instantly her mood burst into happiness almost forgotten was the grumbling upset feeling which had haunted Starla just seconds earlier. "Ama! What in the world are you doing in my territory? You hardly ever come visiting here. Usually its me visiting you and that stubborn fox of yours."

Soliel rolled her eyes and sighed as her question was answered by Ama's reaction to the new helix. "Well I guess we can rest for a bit Lloyd." She said going over to the male and sitting down, "So Ama.... who's your friend?"
Lloyd looked at Ama and nodded slowly. A friend of hers, huh. He certainly was interested in why Ama's friend's scent changed. "I suppose we can Soliel." He said laying down. He looked at Starla as she entered the clearing studying her closely.
