[ Sorry this took so long! D: I got totally swallowed up by Pern RP. ]
Aaah, so they put in offerings? And that quelled the sea? How interesting. Jumana nearly asked the lion if she could watch but remembered her manners. She would see a ritual when the time came, and then she could as all the questions she wanted to. The young lioness was looking forward to it already. She remained quiet for the rest of the journey, aside from the occasional awed sounds whenever she saw something she liked.
When they arrived at the hub, she realized that her tour was over. "I can't think of anything, but if I can I'll be sure to come and find you!" Jumana smiled. "You've been very kind to me, Tambuzi, especially after I tromped around in your sea."

"Hehe, its not MY sea. Its not even OUR sea. She belongs only to herself, and we should be thankful that she allows us to be here, to worship her. She can have her mood-swings at times...but who doesn't?" he ended with a laugh.
"If you like it here, you're more than welcome to stay. It sounds like you've been searching for this place for a long time now."

"I would! Like to stay, I mean," Jumana corrected herself hurriedly, clearly excited at the offer. "I would like that very much." She would get to stay! If only her mother could see her now. She'd followed the river like in all the stories and made it to the ocean. It and the pride that lived beside it had welcomed her with open arms, and it made her tingle with excitement once more.
The river had finally met the sea.
